AMD in a triangle.Advanced Micro Devices - Intraday - We look to Buy a break of 79.22 (stop at 74.41)
Short term momentum is bullish.
Price continues to trade within the triangle formation.
The bias is to break to the upside.
79.15 has been pivotal.
A break of the recent high at 79.15 should result in a further move higher.
Our profit targets will be 91.48 and 93.48
Resistance: 77.00 / 79.20 / 81.00
Support: 72.50 / 70.00 / 68.50

AMD is nearing its major support of 55-59 $Best chances of a large bounce are if AMD test 55$ directly without much chopping around. I will personally start accumulating from 59.24$ until 55$ seeing very very high probabilities for a short term bounce upto potentially 70$

AMD Advanced Micro Devices Options Ahead of EarningsLooking at the AMD Advanced Micro Devices options chain, i would buy the $60 strike price Puts with
2022-11-4 expiration date for about
$1.81 premium.
If the options turn out to be profitable Before the earnings release, i would sell at least 50%.
Looking forward to read your opinion about it.
🟢 AMD - 3D (06.10.2022)🟢 AMD
TF: 3D
Side: Long
SL: $54.69
TP 1: $86.81
TP 2: $101.65
TP 3: $113.65
AMD has done falling and showing signs of recovery by creating a possible rounding bottom in lower time frames.
I think it will start pushing back up now as RSI and MACD look like they have bottomed and wanting to go up.
2 earning reports to watch October 2022It’s that time of year again; earning session for US stocks. With so many other variables contributing to volatility in the US markets (e.g., inflation, Fed rate hikes, recession, oil prices, quantitative easing), anything out of the ordinary can result in huge moves in stock prices. This has already been witnessed in an early report from Nike (NYSE: NKE) last week, where it missed on some metrics and was punished with a -12.8% fall in its stock price.
So, with this in mind, here are two earning reports to watch this October.
Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD)
AMD updates the market with its earnings on Tuesday October 25, alongside some of the other major companies on the NASDAQ, including Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG).
AMD shares fell +23% in September, partly impacted by the weak report from sector compatriot Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU). It is the weak demand outlook that Micron painted for personal-computer products that makes AMD’s upcoming announcement one to watch.
Similarly, Taiwan Semiconductor (NYSE: TSM) is reporting on October 13, which could serve as another barometer for the industry before AMD delivers its report.
Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX)
It may be a make or break earnings report for Netflix on Tuesday 18 October.
Netflix shares climbed +8.4% over September, and over +30% since its last market update in June, where it reported a loss of almost 1 million subscribers. In fact, Netflix was one of the top S&P 500 performers last month, where the broader market index fell by -8.0%.
In the upcoming announcement, investors will be looking out for more details concerning the company’s plan to diversify its revenue base with ad-tier subscription and its heretofore mild penetration into the gaming space.
Some surveys point to almost half of Netflix’s subscribers considering a switch to the company’s ad-tier plans, which would mean that Netflix would have to fill that subscriber revenue gap by selling $5.4 billion worth of ad space.

Selling was posted yesterday but levels close to bespoke support of 63.00 have found buyers.
The trend of lower lows is located at 63.00. Bullish divergence is expected to support prices.
Our profit targets will be 78.78 and 81.78

AMD trade setup idea 15-september-2022AMD is in a downward channel since Jan this year. Partly because of the Semiconductor issue.
The current support level is an important level(75-77) for AMD. It has already tested this level twice.
We would have to wait for the price to show us the direction.
If we cross 78.5, we could take a long position with the first target around 83.5 levels.
If it penetrates the support levels of 75, we could take a short position with a mid term target of 60.
NVDA DAILY WOLFE WAVE SETUP OVER THE WEEKENDOn Sept 2, 2022, a daily wolfe wave entry was triggered. The projected target is calculated by extending a linear line between pivot 1 and 4 and projecting the line. This is represented as the green perforated line, as shown in the chart. Since there is no apex associated with the daily wolfe wave, an alternative price objective would be required using gaps, previous support levels or time. If there was an apex formec, then the projected target is defined by identifying the apex location and projecting a vertical line toward the green perforated projection tgt which is extending from left to right. Short term target is near gap at 150 or 21 day ma which is 164. Conservative level would be 155. I hope this helps.
AMD Thoughts I set a target of $200 for AMD on this analysis based on the Fibonacci circle movement
(2),(3) are comparable areas, both aligning along 1.618. They can be interchanged as (2),(3)
(4) is the price reached at 2.618. Using this 2.618 reach we can apply it to the bullish situation saying price will again touch this level.
I am bullish on AMD .
AMD 100$ Resistance sent price back to the Buy zone If AMD can hold this level, it could go retest the 100 level. Now at horizontal support and EMA21 level. RSI in Oversold area. ATR is quite large so the R:R is not so good at the moment. Might also retrace to the 50EMA below. If the price hovers around the current area will consider longer term swings off the current prices, although I'll be looking to trade the shorter term if price bounces back more violently.
$AMD 4HR NEUTRAL SETUP!$AMD is forming a neutral triangle! the bias would be bullish but if price breaks the bottom trendline it can start a formation of a Head & Shoulders pattern and head down to complete a meaured move to TP2, wait for confirmation! Also mixed news is starting to come in bt more bullish than bearish!
$AMD big resistance..$AMD needs to break the big resistance of $104 before it continues its rally back to 106+ no major news so far about the company and its products. Semis dipped after a market shifted its focus to energy stocks. i believe the semis and the tech stocks will continue to pull back, expect more pain until J Powell next meeting. For now, you might want to check out retail stocks and travel stocks.
here's my day trade price target for AMD on FRIDAY 08/12/22.

For calls; buy above $99.39 and sell at 100.47 or above
For puts, buy below 96.62 and sell at 95.13 or below

$AMD falling chopstick breakout?AMD breaks out from its 3 day losing streak to 4 day winning streak after the feed week and blue chips earnings. AMD looks like a falling chopstick at 4hr chart. but also clearly visible its lower high movement. with earnings coming up tomorrow after market close. i expect $AMD to pull back along with the overall market as it starts to cool off its steam from 4 day winning streak. or it can go sideway like consolidation and make little move before the market close. AMD could breakout to $100 if they beat the Wall Street EPS estimate with positive guidance.
here my price target for $AMD for monday 08/02/22.
============================================================
For calls; buy above $98.30 and sell at 100.36 or above
For puts, buy below 96.50 and sell at 93.95 or below
