HOW IMPORTANT IS TIME IN THE FOREX MARKETS 💡⏰📊HELLO EVERYONE
HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING GOOD ITS MONDAY LOTS OF OPPORTUNITIES AHEAD.
JUST SOMETHING ON TIMING IN THE MARKERT
📈📉📊⌚⏰⏱⏲
Every chart in trading has two axis ie. TIME & PRICE.
The most ignored of this two axis is TIME, now how important is time in trading. Are there some periods during the day that are most volatile than others of cause we all know NEW-YORK session will definitely be more volatile than ASIA or even LONDON sometimes, we know news releases are highly volatile and sessions opens normally see most spikes.
If this is the case why is TIME so underrated in trading or less incorporated in trading.
If you are starting out your Journey in trading you most likely have already invested in patterns ,support & resistance and everything price in the market in excitement watching various economic calendars and trade voraciously on every release of data, viewing the markets 24 hours a day, five days a week. Understanding time will remove this edge to be on charts all day long worse even seeing things that are just not there preventing unnecessary loses.
Unlike Wall Street, which runs on regular business hours, the forex market runs on the normal business hours of four different parts of the world and their respective time zones, which means trading lasts all day and night.
But understanding where you are in this Business will limit a lot of errors and back testing with Time will give you a perception of when your trades take off and what are your High success rate sessions, if you are scalping what are your range bound sessions, what ever type of trader you are time is a crucial aspect in trading.
So according to investopedia When only one market is open, currency pairs tend to get locked in a tight pip spread of roughly 30 pips of movement. Two markets opening at once can easily see movement north of 70 pips, particularly when big news is released.
So understanding this will help in reaching targets timely and reduces anxiety of being range bound in red before your trade takes you out and goes in your direction 😀
Overlaps in Forex Trading Sessions
The most traded & most popular will have to be the U.S./London (8 am. to noon NY TIME): This is the heaviest overlap within the markets with More than 70% of all trades happening when these markets overlap because of moves seen within this markets.
The we have the Sydney/Tokyo (2 am to 4 am NY TIME): This time period is not as volatile as the U.S./London overlap, but it still offers a chance to trade in a period of higher pip fluctuation, and certain pairs tend to be volatile during this certainly especially the once aligned with the sessions, tends to also be great for scalpers as most are range bound during this sessions and scalps can dominate during this sessions without unforeseen spikes 😁
• Last but definitely not least London/Tokyo (3 am to 4 am NY time) This overlap sees the least amount of action of the three because of the time (most U.S.-based traders won't be awake at this time), and the one-hour overlap gives little opportunity to watch large pip changes occur.
But this is the sessions that creates some important key levels to plan the day and execution of trades so no session is less important than the other the out come of each sessions lies with us as traders
• The forex market runs on the normal business hours of four different parts of the world and their respective time zones.
• The U.S./London markets overlap (8 a.m. to noon EST) has the heaviest volume of trading and is best for trading opportunities.
• The Sydney/Tokyo markets overlap (2 a.m. to 4 a.m.) is not as volatile as the U.S./London overlap, but it still offers opportunities
Then we have news Releases that are also based on time, if your strategy is based on capitalizing on news releases you are most likely aware of time and its importance in once trading.
I don't want this to be long so basically what I am saying is you have two axis on a chart, why are you only looking at the price axis, time has to come into playing some how 🤔
Invest in time to limit wasting your time on the charts...
Hope you enjoy this

Large Asian Sessions Impacts other SessionsHello Traders!
Here is one example out of thousands you can see based off the Asian session.
You can see the Asian session is 437.6 pips!
That is a significant move in my opinion.
Asian having range greater than 40 pips impacts how London and New York will move.
In this example London and NY hardly give us any range expansion to the daily range.
As a trader you need movement to make money.
Most of the daily range expansion occurred in Asian, which is a key to avoid London and possibly settle for a New York trade setup.
You Should Know Importance of Asian Range! Asian Range is very important when we want to talk about liquidity concepts in general.. Most importantly, Liquidity Grab ..
First have a daily bias .. then use Asian Range's high and low to determine sellside/buyside liquidity.. Wait for London Open Killzone and search for a FVG ..
Let me know your thoughts in comments 🤠
Asian Range | Liquidity Trap | FVG & London OpenHey folks I hope you're all good and making some good untraditional profits 😉
Here is a model that you will find few days every trading week!
{Terms used in this Idea}
Asian Range:
a time span from 19:00 to 00:00 NY Time that forms every day except for Mondays.. Usually price taking of Asian Range's high or low means liquidity is taken and price "could" reverse short-term if that agrees with our daily bias..
London Open:
Time span from 02:00 to 05:00 NY Time when the market is very acrive. Price usually forms high or low of day during London Open..
FVG:
Fair value gab is a gab that forms between two candles separated by a third candle forming the gab (blue-shaded boxes on chart)
If you found that useful give it a ♥️LIKE♥️

NAS100 short - London sessionAsian Manipulation, BOS, retracement and imbalance filled. Aiming at the sellside liquidity below for a 1 to 3 risk-reward ratio.
$GBPUSD - Sell Side Liquidity at -1 Standard Dev. *SMT*\*SMT* = Smart Money Theory = everything you think that is not retail related to trading. First, SMT does not believe that triangles, wedges , trendlines , channels, harmonics, etc. has any effect on how price reacts. I'm Sorry, but you won't convince me that Bitcoin knows it has created a triangle and that it knows how to react from that? It does and will remember price levels, that's it. The second is to recognize that the price is not random, it is set by an algorithm controlled by those that control the asset. The Third thing to remember is price will move toward attacking where there is Liquidity (Equal Highs, Equal Lows, phantom Trendlines etc.) and Balance (Fair Value Gaps, Liquidity Voids.) That's the basics. The rest is very unique in the vocabulary you need to have and the concepts that wrap around these ideas.*
Asian Session Lesson - Doesn't always happen but I believe the way it is forming it will. During the Asian Session the high of that session did break a high from last asian session. If you box in the asian session and draw out the deviations, (1x, 1.5x, 2x, etc. you might find some confluences. Also take note of the opening price at midnight (1.14320). If you notice the rere are equal lows below the current price. Which is where the liquidity lies, where retail traders place their buy limits and sell stops. Usuaully when you see this after an asian session the price will rise during the London session to get you to believe that it's going to continue the trend.
However, what smart Money usually does, is they will find a point that may bne higher than the high but usually at a bearish order block near the high or deviation. This is where the Judas swing comes into play. And this will have most retail traders buying into that high. Could drop a little at first ti get even with the current even lows or drop just a little below them. The rise up during London Session, above NY Opening price, That's when you expect price to hit the bearish order block somewhere and start to drop on the other side of the price of hte new york open. In my educated smart money guess, it would het just above the current high and then start plummeting as soon as London is about to slow down 4 am ish. 6 am you see it pixk back up and move up into a breaker or a bearish order block it formed , and fall harderpast the equal lows probably to the -1.5x deviation of the Asion Session, Aroun 1.13200
Here's my two guesses on one chart. Let's see if that's wut Smart Money Wants to do.
If it even wants to do that at all. I could be wrong and it just go straight up through the liquidity above. But the equal lows have me against that. Price 1 Attacks Liquidity and 2 Moves towards imbalances
I had to add another chart because I have people that follow me that say my numbers are too small so I made one that a=had big numbers for them and it was more focused on the area. I'll update as it goes on when I can. It already looks like price is swinging up though
There's a smart Money Lesson for the day
Good Luck and Happy Tradin g
