Alteryx (AYX) Descending ChannelsAYX has formed two descending channels. The first channel had a short breakout followed by the second channel. The second channel is interesting because it breaks but re-enters the channel shortly. AYX is still operating in the descending channel, but I'm not sure whether to be excited or concerned. The break and re-enter on the second channel will worry most investors. What could have caused this anomaly? AYX posted their earnings which is noted by tradingview as a "surprise". AYX beat their expectations which spurred investors to re-enter. With the stock still operating in the descending channel, it's unclear how long investors will hold.
AYX to the MOONAYX is primed for an explosion. It has spent the last few weeks coiling up at a major support oversold level. It has been resting on a major support trendline. DMI is showing positive momentum building. We should see $110-$120 by mid April, and then $140-180 by mid June

AYX - Break out of Triangle patternAlteryx, Inc. provides self-service data analytics software platform. They have beaten 4th quarter earnings for past 3 years and Im looking for them to beat again. They have just broken out of triangle pattern on daily chart (could also be double bottom pattern). The Feb options put call ratio is high at .97, so risky to hold thru earnings. $130 calls and $130 puts have the highest OI.
AYX heading into earnings.Alteryx recently announced a partnership with Snowflake , a data cloud company that integrates Alteryx analytics automation and data science capabilities with Snowflake's platform.
This integrated offering allows Alteryx to leverage Snowflake's compute, elastic scaling and secure data sharing capabilities to provide customers with automated data pipelining, faster data processing and accelerated analytics outcomes at scale. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Moreover, the new offering is supported with a 30-day free trial that enables a single, seamless user experience that automates connectivity to Snowflake and executes Alteryx's automated data transformation capabilities within Snowflake.
AYX - Triangle patternAlteryx, Inc. provides self-service data analytics software platform. Recorded bad earnings last quarter and has wild 15-20% swings. Short interest is 8.7 %. I like this triangle pattern to breakout, as in my last post MSFT will post good earnings and benefit tech stocks next week.
AYX possible long?AYX levels annotated in the chart, technical aspect looks good. looking for a break of 114 to fill first gap at 120. Possible ER run up with ER coming February 5th
ALTERYX - short termThe graph shows that we have a non-closed gap. I think in the short term - the medium term we will close it . There is also a support line, which we are on.
Failed H&S likely in AYXDaily exhibits significant horizontal structure:
Weekly exhibits significant historical buying at the demand curve:
$AYX LongI predict over the next 6 moths AYX will be around 155+ in price. The post-earnings drop was too large compared to the actual numbers they released. I have stock as well as options in under 112. Their recent partnership with UiPath is huge, and they're still steadily adding new customers despite covid. I think this is a pretty safe play, let me know what y'all think too.
Long on AYX, break out above $145 all the way up to $200 sold put credit spread at $165/$155, purchased the call butterfly from $165/$180/$200
#AYX 151.25 24-25 JuneAYX seems to fall back to 151 mark before bouncing back..looks like mirroring of the earlier push back...
ALTERYX $AYX "cup w handle"$AYX has cleared $151.50 handle buy point yesterday and broke the pivot resistance, RSI broke the trendline too and the volume has passed the average.
12 months Consensus Price Target: $136.10

Alteryx: Worthy Competitor in Analytic Process AutomationIntroduction
Alteryx "AYX" is another tech software stock that has been on fire after the initial market dip from Covid-19. The company’s primary focus is enterprise-grade Analytic Process Automation (APA) platform and accomplishes this feat extremely well. I have had the opportunity to try a demo when looking for data analysis software for my organization. The software is amazing! Forget Tableau, SAS, and the others - Alteryx's platform (after the initial installation) can process “dirty data" (no data preparation) and provide business insights from the automated analysis. There is going to be a lot less “Data Scientists” and even “BI Analysts” around.
The cost of the platform runs something around $70,000. Yet from a business standpoint, it is much cheaper than adding an extra data analyst IT personnel whose value was dubious at best. I can see why this company has taken flight. I would call it the Salesforce “CRM” (Salesforce is a partner as well as Microsoft) of Business Data Analysis. The company has few large or established competitors (excluding Tableau). I would caution that until they themselves have established more dominance in the field of APA – it would not be difficult for the likes of IBM (with SPSS) to jump into the ring. However, this would seem unlikely considering IBM's struggles as of late.
AYX Performance
Note: You will come to notice I only use a few technical indicators in my analyses. I would much rather focus on the quantitative aspects that are rooted in strong mathematical theory, than try to quantify human behavior. Additionally, I have been including the acid test – Quick Ratio – to ensure that companies have enough liquidity to make it through any additional “stay-at-home” orders (hopefully we will not have any more serious outbreaks).
Fundamentals
We see that AYX has a Quick Ratio of 4.1123 and a ratio of 1.00 is considered satisfactory to meet all debt obligations. QR = (CE + MS + AR)/CL, where; CE = Cash + Equivalents, MS = Marketable Securities, AR = Accounts Receivable, and CL = Current Liabilities. The information is given in simple terms in a company’s SEC Form Q-10 Filing or the 10-K for the fiscal year.
AYX has a Price-to-Earnings Ratio that is absolutely through the roof at 2418.9831. This may be a cause for concern. Alteryx IS a tech company during a tremendous growth spurt and recent earnings have been all over the map due to Covid-19. So, we will give it the benefit of the doubt.
Technicals:
I use the Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) as they are better indicators of what is happening “today” as they are exponentially weighted to the most recent dates of the chosen time frame.
Exponential Moving Averages
Price(Close) = 148.71
EMA(10) = 147.89
EMA(20) = 129.99
EMA(50) = 121.24
These all look good and in the correct order. The price is greater than all three (3) EMAs and there is no “cross-unders” of the EMA averages.
EMA Trend Analysis = Bullish
Linear Regression and Reversion to the Mean
The calculated Pearson’s r coefficient is almost perfectly correlated at approximately 0.9736 (A Pearson’s r coefficient of 1.00 is a perfect correlation).
We can interpret this as a Bullish trend as 1) the slope of the line is upward and 2) the price is on the lower-end of the linear regression channel (and will move toward the mean or reversion to the mean).
Linear Regression Trend Analysis = Bullish

Alteryx $AYXDouble top on rsi. 100,20 200 and 50SMA are the supports. If it breaks all down, it may touch the bottom trendline of the channel. For bullish action, it needs to break rsi resistance
