BB
Blackberry overview - Getting close to breakout? Here is a quick look at BB on TSX.
Over all, its looking like a triple nest, that's approaching the downtrend line from the Jan 27th and June 3rd highs. We're about a month away from crossing it if we stay in this prize zone, but with earnings coming up next week, we could see some action if the numbers are positive.
I don't like to think of this as a meme stock, and I don't keep up with the short squeeze possibility on BB, so DYOR if that's what you're hoping for. I'm just looking at this with an Elliot Wave analysis overlain on a pitchfork. I really like the pitchfork because its held up key fib levels.
There is a possibility that wave 2 isn't in yet and we could head to 11.19...that's where we find the 1 period on the pitchfork and a previous resistance shown in red, but i don't think we will break ~12.65 unless earnings is a real dumpster fire. Note the increase in volume on Sept 17, which is quad witching.....could be a good indicator that flow is positive into this name for the next quarter.
Worth a shot with a buy here around $12.80, SL at 11 and PT1 at 19.75 and PT2 at 25.90, a potential 3.77-7.05 R:R.
A Non-Random Pattern..!Jim Simons: we should try to trade patterns that happen on a non-random basis..!
Now with higher confidence, we can say Wall Street bets are predictable..!
NYSE:AMC with a 22 billion market cap gained more than 20% in a single day!
Today's price*volume: 9.9billion second to BABA and 10% above Tesla..!
Why this is important? because the last time this phenomenon happened it was the start of a Gamma squeeze..!
I will not surprise to see it ranked first tomorrow!
To learn more about it please read my previous post:

Max Pain or Short squeeze?
Is there hidden rationality beyond irrationality?
Short Squeeze or Gamma Squeeze that is the question?
August 20, 2021:
This is called WSB effect..!
In the past few days, I published posts about Wall Street Bets and how they conquered the market!
They are not just a group of "Apes" unlike what many think, there is a master puppeteer and a core behind this phenomenon who know market mechanics top to down, the power of social media, data analysis.
The master puppeteer has learned to survive in life and career with a false identity many years ago from his grandmaster..!
To wrap it up, do not take an opposite position this could last for a while..! Today was the largest gain and trading volume since last "Quadruple Witching" June 18, 2021..!
Is there hidden rationality beyond irrationality?Gama Squeeze Happens between Quadruple Witching Dates
When stock prices experience rapid shifts, the conditions may be ripe for a squeeze. In this scenario, investors may find themselves buying or selling shares of stock outside their normal trading pattern in order to minimize losses. A gamma squeeze is an extreme example of this, in which investor buying activity forces a stock’s price up. Gamma squeezes are often associated with options trading and they can be problematic for investors who don’t fully understand how they work.
A short squeeze is a specific type of stock squeeze. With a short squeeze, an increase in stock prices can force people who shorted the stock to buy back their shares.
How a Gamma Squeeze Works
Certain conditions have to be met for a gamma squeeze to manifest in the market. It starts with investors making assumptions about a particular stock’s price. Specifically, they assume that the stock will rise in price.
This leads to buying short-dated call options in the stock on a large scale. A call option’s value increases when the underlying stock it’s associated with increases in value. Meanwhile, this puts the institutional investors selling the options in a short position.
If this pattern continues with investors sinking more money into call potions, that can force institutional investors to buy more shares of the stock. This is a necessary step for hedging against the short position they now find themselves in.
The gamma squeeze happens when the underlying stock’s price begins to go up very quickly within a short period of time. As more money flows into call options from investors, that forces more buying activity which can lead to higher stock prices. Investors who purchased call options and sell when stock prices are high can reap sizable profits but the institutional investors who had to cover their short positions might see significant losses. As you see all these spike patterns happened between Quadruple Witching Dates!
What Is Quadruple Witching?
Quadruple witching refers to a date on which stock index futures, stock index options, stock options, and single stock futures expire simultaneously. While stock options contracts and index options expire on the third Friday of every month, all four asset classes expire simultaneously on the third Friday of March, June, September, and December.

I believe a new round of Squeezing has just started and VLDR and GOEV, two of the most shorted stocks are just the tip of the iceberg.
GOEV: Short Percent of Float 32.48 %, 32.3M, 10 days to cover..!
VLDR: Short Percent of Float 16.06 %', days to cover 4.5
Do you know Which stocks have the potential to be the next Short or Gamma squeeze???

BB as a distractionI think it's time for BB to pump, after the AMC distraction and the fake CLOVER pump, now it's time for the BB squeeze. 3rd time's a charm.
I'll look at 60$+ for selling. AMC got to FIB 2.618 extension on it's run.
Planning to move profits to GME for the real squeeze.
Good luck, power to the players.
$IWM AnalogIn this chart we analyze the relationship between the Small Cap iShares ETF and an analog of the 2002-2003 price action. From our view, we can see that we are clearly holding a similar pattern from back in the early part of that decade. This happened to be after a recession as well where the value/growth rotations were just as if not stronger than they are today. Something to keep in mind.
In short, we are bullish on the small cap sector from here. The risk reward is clear vs the recent range lows on the daily chart for a sustained move over the coming months higher.
Sirius XM - A name everyone forgot SIRI gives me Blackberry vibes. No one paid attention to Blackberry and thought the bulls were crazy for getting long in the 5s and 6s. You could see some of the comments in this post on BB here from Aug 2020:
Tightness in volatility is what traders look for. Especially multi-year consolidations like SIRI.
In my first year as a stockbroker my boss said... "buy em' when they're sleeping, sell em' when they're leapin" ... sleepers in dominant uptrends (above all major moving averages and overhead supply) are being accumulated. When the supply runs dry they end up exploding.

Blackberry BB OutlookHere we see BB creeping up on its trendline established around November 2020. We have seen no real rise from BB and volume has been very down. There are a few signs that point to the downside at the moment.
Let's take a look at the RSI for example. BB has consistently stayed above this red line since its reversal and has kept bullish momentum. Here we see BB is starting to potentially break under this red line which indicates a change in momentum. This could be a bearish sign if BB still holds strong selling pressure.
This is a look at the slightly bigger picture where we can see BB has broken down from its original bullish structure and has since retested this trendline. There was a clear rejection at this level which is a very strong sign of further downward pressure.
Another key thing to note here is the lack of volume! BB can't rise unless there is a rise in volume. The Speculative Market has taken a huge hit in the last 2 weeks and many investors are timid to get back in.
Furthermore, all is not lost yet. Here we see BB is still above the original bullish trendline established after the initial breakout. Until this level is lost BB is still bullish in the long term. The short term may have a high potential for further downside but the big picture is still promising.
BB is in a very strange position. It's very hard to gauge the next move because volatility is down and market conditions are very muddy at this point in time. Looking for more clear signs for the short term. I have given what I expect in the chart!
I hope this analysis helps in any way and questions are more than welcome! Happy Trading!
Apes, Mafia, who plays better? who has grater chance of success?Sapiens came to dominate the world because it is the only animal that can cooperate flexibly in large numbers. Prehistoric Sapiens was a key cause of the extinction of other human species such as the Neanderthals, along with numerous other megafauna.
Evolution is a change in the characteristics of living things over time. As described by Darwin, evolution occurs by a process called natural selection.
Natural selection is the process through which populations of living organisms adapt and change. ... Through this process of natural selection, favorable traits are transmitted through generations. Natural selection can lead to speciation, where one species gives rise to a new and distinctly different species.
Now my question is:
Can 10 million apes defeat a small number of the elite sapience equipped with AI by behaving like apes?
The best way to answer this question is to learn to play "Mafia"
Mafia, also known as Werewolf, is a social deduction game, created by Dimitry Davidoff in 1986. The game models a conflict between two groups: an informed minority (the Mafiosi or the werewolves), and an uninformed majority (the villagers). At the start of the game, each player is secretly assigned a role affiliated with one of these teams. The game has two alternating phases: first, a night role, during which those with night killing powers may covertly kill other players, and second, a day role, in which surviving players debate the identities of players and vote to eliminate a suspect. The game continues until a faction achieves its win condition; for the village, this usually means eliminating the evil minority, while for the minority this usually means reaching numerical parity with the village and eliminating any rival evil groups.
Night
All players close their eyes. The moderator then instructs all werewolves to open their eyes and acknowledge their accomplices. The werewolves pick a "victim" by silently gesturing to indicate their target and to show unanimity then close their eyes again.
A similar process occurs for other roles with nightly actions. In the case of the seer, the moderator may indicate the target's innocence or guilt by using gestures such as nodding or head shaking.
Werewolves discussing whom to kill during the night
The night may be accompanied by players tapping gently to mask sounds made by gesture.
Day
During the "day" phase, players vote on whom to eliminate
The moderator instructs players to open their eyes and announces who "died" the previous night. Discussion ensues among the living players. At any point, a player may accuse someone of being a werewolf and prompt others to vote to eliminate them. If over half of the players do so, the accused person is eliminated and night begins. Otherwise, the phase continues until elimination occurs.
According to some rules, the role of dead players is revealed; according to others, it is not. In both cases, dead players are not permitted to attempt to influence the remainder of the game.
Because players have more freedom to deliberate, days tend to be longer than nights.
Game theory
Mathematical study
Mafia is a complicated game to model, so most analyses of optimal play have assumed both (a) that there are only townsfolk and Mafiosi and (b) that the townsfolk never have a probability of identifying the Mafia that is better than chance. Early treatment of the game concentrated on simulation, while more recent studies have tried to derive closed-form equilibrium solutions for perfect play.
In 2006, the computer scientists Braverman, Etesami, and Mossel proved that without detectives and with perfect players the randomized strategy is optimal for both citizens and mafia. When there is a large enough number of players to give both groups a similar probability of winning, they showed that the initial number of Mafiosi m needs to be proportional to the square root of the total number of players P, that is With a simulation, they confirmed that 50 Mafiosi would have almost a 50% chance to win among 10,000.
I believe the WSB scheme could be designed based on this game theory!
I have played many Mafia game many times, and whoever who played this game many times know that Mafias has a higher chance of success!
According to a 2021 article:
A single detective changes the qualitative behavior of the game dramatically..!
Play smart..!
Listen to the detective..!

Blackberry BB Looking For a Relief BounceChart says it all. Judging by this analysis BB will likely break down from $12 and begin to test the $11.50 area sometime this week.
BB needs to find support around $11.50 and from there we should begin to see the bounce starting next week.
Targets are:
~$13
~$13.50
This is not financial advice, please always do your own research and analysis. Happy Trading!
This idea could work on Z! 🤩Z has a pivot at 115.58, and if broken, this can lead the price to higher levels. We have a strong support at 112, that must not be lost again – or Z will keep dropping to the 108s.
By breaking the 115s, we might see Z at 130 in the next weeks, but it is still trading inside the range between 119 – 108, so, we must be careful.
The BBs are getting very tight, and we’ll see something good around any time soon. Let’s just be aware of these points!
