Using Fibonacci Price Theory To PROTECT Your TradesProtecting Your Trades With Fibonacci Price Theory.
Learn to understand the BELTLINE range (50%) and why it is so important for structuring your trades for profit.
Not all trades will be successful - plan for FAILURE.
Planning for FAILURE = Long-Term SUCCESS.
Follow my research.
The rabbit-hole of knowledge I've amassed over the past 25+ years is deep. I could go on and on about different strategies, theories, concepts, and indicators.
What I've learned is...
KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid!
_ The IDIOT SYSTEM is often the best for new traders.
_ Use Multi-timeframes to confirm price trend/direction.
_ Use PRICE STRUCTURE as the core of all of your research.
Hope these help everyone out.
Pay Attention.
Beyond Technical Analysis
Part 2 - Fibonacci Price Theory on SPY 60 Min (Deeper we go)After 25+ years of research, study, and application of some of the most incredible trading strategies - I'm sharing one of the MOST IMPORTANT structural price theories with all of you...
The Fibonacci Price Theory.
The primary rule of the Fibonacci Price Theory is:
Price is ALWAYS seeking NEW HIGHS or NEW LOWS. Price is never NOT attempting to reach NEW HIGHS or NEW LOWS.
Let that sink in for a minute.
If you knew price was always attempting to establish a trend, or continue a trend.. how would that change your trading/investing tactics?
What if I showed you how I use Fibonacci Price Theory? And how YOU can use it to further your own trading skills?
Here you go, A 60 minute SPY chart where I'm applying the basics of Fibonacci Price Theory to the current market price rally.
If you've ever wanted to learn the TRUE CONSTRUCT of price - this is it.
All other technical analysis techniques (Elliot Wave, Indicators, & others) are constructed from PRICE.
Price is the Ultimate Indicator.
Pay attention and follow my research.
Learning Fibonacci Price Theory - MUST WATCHEven though I got cut off after about 25 minutes, I'm sharing this with all of you to teach you how to use one fo the most important PRICE STRUCTURE features for any chart
Fibonacci Price Theory.
The consensus of all TA is that PRICE tells us everything.
Fibonacci Price Theory is the REAL DEAL.
Use it on a 1 minute, 5 minute, 60 minute, or Daily - ANY TIME-FRAME
Use it in conjunction with other TA/Indicators.
Use it with Elliot Wave analysis.
USE IT.
My experience is that all indicators/theories/strategies have strengths/weaknesses. If you are not aware of them (yet) - pay attention.
Follow my research and I'll continue to try to share tidbits of advanced TA/Fibonacci with you.
I created this to help my followers/friends learn one of the most critical price structure components of my own research. I see all price charts in the manner I've illustrated in this video.
After more than 15 years of applied Fibonacci Price Theory/Structure - I can't help but NOT see price as "Fibonacci Fractals".
Hope this helps.

Tradingview Telegram Webhook Bot with Chart Snapshot (Revised)Hello Everyone,
In this video, we will try to go through revised implementation of Tradingview-Telegram-Bot which can be used to send alert messages from tradingview to telegram along with current chart snapshot.
🎲 Base
Initial version of the same idea are as below:
How-to-create-simple-web-hook-to-send-alerts-to-Telegram
How-to-capture-chart-snapshot-in-tradingview-telegram-alert-bot
🎲 Prerequisite
Before proceeding with the current video, please watch the first video - How-to-create-simple-web-hook-to-send-alerts-to-Telegram which covers lots of basic things such as
Creating Telegram Bot using botfather and capturing required information such as TOKEN and CHANNEL
Basic usage of replit - a cloud based hosting service which lets us define our webhooks with little to no cost.
Postman - tool which is required to test the webhooks created
Other information such as keeping the bot alive via cronjob, using the webhooks in tradingview alert widget etc.
🎲 Setup
Clone/fork replit repo
Set mandatory environment variables CHANNEL and TOKEN
Set optional environment variables username/password or sessionid
Run the bot and start using webhooks
🎲 Usage
Webhook URL will be of the format.
https://Tradingview-Telegram-Bot. .repl.co/webhook?
🎲 Important Query parameters
jsonRequest - can be set as true/false. Default is false. If set to true, the payload should be a standard json. Output to telegram will be sent in tabular format. If not set or if set to false, output to telegram will be clear text.
tblfmt - table format to be used when jsonRequest is set to true. Default is plain. The values are exactly same as the ones required for tabulate package.
chart - Send the chart id if required to send chart snapshot along with alert message. For this to work - chart needs to be either a shared chart or environment variables for tvusername and tvpassword should be set to the user who has access to given chart.
ticker - Chart ticker. You no longer need to use different chart for different tickers. You can have a common chart and pass ticker to it so that chart will automatically switch to given ticker before taking screenshot
delivery - Taking chart snapshot takes time. This also delays the delivery of alert message. To avoid this, we can use this option - delivery=asap so that alert message will be sent as soon as possible and chart is sent later. If this parameter is not set, then both the messages will be delivered together.

Digging in the trash for almost free value-Net Net Cigar ButtsBenjamin Graham taught Warren Buffett his Net Net liquidation value stock strategy. Graham would hunt for stocks that were so cheap that there was more value in the company if they stopped operations and passed out the assets. Net liquidation value was higher than the price of the whole company. Graham learned this from the hard times of the depression years, but the concept still applies to companies today.

Strategy Coding E01: Adding a custom Trailing-StopIn my experience there are phases to creating a strategy. In this episode we will cover one of the most important steps: establishing an exit strategy. Exiting a position is crucial to risk management. If your entries are terrible but you have a good exit strategy, you might get by and not lose a lot of your capital. And vice-versa, if your entries are great, but your exit strategy is terrible, you my not make any profit.
Concepts we will cover in this episode:
Integrating an indicator value as a trailing stop.
Lowering the trailing stop sensitivity by using the Average True Range (ATR).
Customizing the ATR value.
Brief introduction to 'modules'.

"F.A.T.S.O." Analysis, 5 dimensions in one easy acronym " are you a fundamental investor or a technical chart person". That cant be all there is to know can it?
Ive bean trying to make up a fun and easy to remember acronym for describing multiple kinds of analysis for investing.
I came up with FATSO.
F Fed
A Accounting Fundamental
T Technical
S Social
O Options
One of the things that bugs me about investors in general, as that we all mostly focus too heavily one aspect of investing. When I was new, I really wish I learned broad skills of anaylsis to at least understand what was out there and how others might inspect the market.
At the very least, this FATSO acronym I made up should be useful as a reminder to think about multiple layers and angles of factors in any investment.
Hope you enjoy the video and at least find the acronym funny.

How To: Find Good Traders To Follow & Who Picked the BTC Crash !Just thought I would show you an interesting way to see who is making the right calls before a stock or (crypto)currency makes a significant bullish or bearish move.
With so many people posting on TradingView it can sometimes be hard to know who to follow.
This is a way to see very simply who is making more accurate calls and best of all it IS NOT influenced by their number of posts or followers or reputation points etc.
It is a great way to discover new users brand new to the site - or more established ones who have been on here for years. You can have one post or 100 and still stand out.
If you find the same person consistently making the "right" calls and you like their analysis and how they trade then you can very easily follow them.
(PS not really a crash, more of some profit taking and a pullback to support. Be interesting to see what happens over the next few days though.)

Managing non directional option trades : #snap Making money even when Im wrong, only in options world is that a thing.
Non directional trades try to capture premium from both bull and bear sides be on a range or sideways trend.
Here I discuss managing non directional trades as time passes and future price moves reveal themselves.
Eventually, this non directional trade became directional. But thats my choice and comfort based on risk reward of the current market.
We have to price risks and choose our exposure.
We dont control the market or outcomes. We control decisions and orders.
good luck have fun be safe!
valuation concepts for 100x bagger stocks #investing "You can't handle the truth". Except in this case, you cant handle the compounding.
Compounding is so difficult for me to understand that I have to model it out for my brain to see it.
Ive also lived it for decades now to believe it.
If you dont know ahead of time what to look for, you wont know what to do when these generational wealth opportunities stare you in the face. Recessions are the best time to grab these.
100 bagger , 100x your money opportunities. thats whats on the table here.
the apples, amazons, googles, microsofts, monster/hansen sodas of the world. did you you know netflix did 100x twice?
These companies grew, quietly, and steadily. And before you knew it, they were massive.
Peter Lynch made famous the concept of PEG ratio. He used the concept of comparing a companies potential growth rate to its PE Price to Earnings ratio. He tried to buy companies with good earnings growth rates and tried to pay less that that rate in PE ratio. So if a company grew at 20%, he was willing to pay 20 PE or better. Overtime, he know he would do well and his company would compound that growth into more and more revenue and value.
PEG ratio concept: The fair price for a company is approximately its growth rate.
PEG ratio doesnt apply for all companies. Its best for scalable businesses that are growing from small to big. Cyclical businesses that require large amounts of capital may not fall under PEG ratio because of the capital constraints and economic sensitivity.
Still working on my modeling. Will share more. Hope you find it useful. Cheers!
Using Bollinger Bands to engage in Options Trades Bollinger bands are not prediction machines. They are more like the gutters at the bowling alley. They are math based and rear view mirrors of what has happened in the past. They are customizable to your settings.
I like to use them as a quick reference to tell me what is normal price action in the past. I would never use them alone.
Combing valuation of the company, along with macro view of economy, and only then using technical like Bollinger bands is the way I like to trade. Bollinger Bands give me confidence to engage, thats it.
In the video I cover a case study of a vertical spread trade in TJX and how Im using Bollinger Bands as a rough guide for my placing my option strikes.
Hope you enjoy the discussion.
rocket ship and comment if you do ! Cheers!

All Strategies Are Good; If Managed Properly!

Managing risk while day trading Hey everyone!
Haven't done a tutorial in a while so I thought I would do one on how I personally manage risk while day trading.
These are my own experiences and my own rules, but hopefully you can take something away from them.
I generally trade shares more often than options, but I do talk about the special considerations when day trading options.
Remember, its not about the P&L, it is about risk management and executing well planned trades!
Let me know if you have questions and as always, trade safe everyone!
Shopping stocks for my Old Lady- Dogs of the dow pre recession? When in doubt, choose positive carry.
Dividend paying companies that are lagging. Good and bad.
Good because they are priced with less optimism.
Bad because the price my correctly reelect to opportunity going going forward.
Either way, I like looking at dogs of the dow and dogs of the sp500 to do research.
Ive found many gems that way, even if I choose not to use the strategy.
We dont control outcomes. We only control our habits and decisions. The exercise effort is the gold.
Dividends pay me while I wait. Selling premium pays me while I wait. Earning interest pays me while I wait.
Ideas can take longer than you think to work. May as well get some cashflow and reduce your cost basis over time.
P.S. Dont tell my girlfriend I made a video mentioning her. kthankxbye
Avoiding Risk by tracking VIX, the bull bus might be too crowdedFuture prices are unknowable and unpredictable. But measuring current conditions and valuations are informative. Tracking vix volatility and using it to make better decisions in my experience has been helpful.
Warning: Avoid buying options are generally costly. Options are a form of borrowing money to use leverage provided by an option seller.
