Vaccine Stock Mania pushes Moderna to a $29bn Market Cap- On Monday there was news that Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine candidate is generating an immune response in Phase 1 trial subjects.
- We also then saw massive buying push the market cap to now $29 billion. This is NOT a proven company and doesn't have any marketable product YET.
- Some concern has since been expressed by Vaccine experts others on on when company will release full data / research here and that a vaccine is still a long way away.
- Anyway you know the drill here - if you think this is THE Vaccine company then try and find a way into this stock - don't mortgage your house / have a plan and put a small % to work.
- Technically massive uptrend and probably a 2 places to get long - either at the immediate demand zone ($66ish) or the $50ish. There is some negative divergence kicking in with the Connor's RSI and so a bigger dip here is possible.
Will this be a great VBIV buy in?I've been actively trading the recent VBIV bull run, and I still expect the bull run to continue from now until year's end. However, the stock is up over 100% in a very short time, and this may be the correction to this rapid movement.
I'm not actively trading this idea yet, but I will update the idea if I decide to short.

VXRT - Big Moves AheadAll,
This may drop to $2.30-2.50 but after that should be a move up. We are moving into a previous consolidation area. The news etc outlook prior to the virus all look like it should move up. However, you never know so keep an eye out of course. We should see some movement this week for sure.
VBIV day trade [Price Target: $1.60]IFFFFF the $1.98 - $2.00 support line holds and buying pressure increases, I expect to see a pretty big upward price movement for the day. Remember folks, just ideas!
Trade idea #BTK long on a break of the 5450 levelBiotechnology belongs to the sectors of the stock market which were rather moderately affected by the Coronacrisis. In fact, in the second half of april the NYSE ARCA Biotechnology Index even managed to surpass its pre-corona levels to attack its previous high at about 5.420. However the advance of the preceding days was too strong to get beyond that level and in line with the total market the index got rejeceted at that resistance level.
Looking now at the weekly chart a multi-month range between 3850 and 5450 can be seen which followed a previous advance of the index. Trend trader would now expect the index to pass the upper boundary of that range but we have to patiently wait if that will happen or if the index will continue to trade within that range.
For a long breakout trade the following trading strategies are possible:
a/ set a buy stop order > 5.550 (upper boundary at 5.450 + 2% )
b/ go long on a daily close > 5.450
c/ go long on a weekly close > 5.450 (unless price gets too far away from the 5450 handle)
d/ after a successfull breakout wait for a consolidation back to the 5450 level to look for a Long entry
Which strategy you use depends of course on your trading style. Also a combination of the 4 strategies could make sense, i.e. 33% for a/, 17% for b/, 17% for c/ and 33% for d/.
Stop loss should be the last swing low. If the index won't take out last week's low this would be 4.950, otherwise the stop must be adjusted.
A first target for 50% of the position could be set at the round figure of 7.000.

INO going down, major resistanceFib levels are acting as strong support and resistance, is likely to start going down the fib ladder like a basketball.
Also we have a trendline resistance from the last few weeks.
BIOTRON - Primed to MOVE!Watching BIOTRON closely. 2 Scenarios:
1. Break of internal trend within the symmetrical triangle will see us return to the .065-.080 region (AREA OF INTEREST).
-We've had 2 bounces on the .382 Fib region creating a double top @ .115 Equilibrium
-Break of internal uptrend trendline.
-Currently broken the center band of bollinger bands.
-We've also had a death cross on MACD and is starting to spread.
-Waiting on break of support at .088
2. If POSITIVE results are announced shortly for any of BIOTRONS Projects/Programs (Anti Viral Drug Program, HIV Program, HBV Program) We should see a break out of Symmetrical Triangle.
-Break of downtrend possible.
-Retest of .011 Equilibrium VERY possible.
-New Market Structure will form with Higher LOW & Higher HIGH.
-Volume will be brought back into the market.
-My next target would be major resistance at .014

It should now start a correction that can take it to new lows. The alternative scenario would be that we would see a minor correction to around 115 before trend to new highs. Novavax (NVAX): Tell me about my Schiff!I'm bull-ish on Novavax (see Related Idea). I think their approach to the COVID-19 vaccine is promising - their recombinant nanoparticle vaccine technology and Matrix-M adjuvant. They also have positive long-term prospects with their proprietary NanoFlu candidate. This is the big one to me. It's unclear whether COVID-19 becomes seasonal or not but influenza is established and recurring. It fact, it's becoming more difficult to handle with every year. The strains are becoming more advanced and unpredictable. Whether or not Novavax can produce a profitable candidate, I simply don't know. I believe that their patented tech is promising.
Novavax might not produce a COVID vaccine before its competitors (or at all) but they continue to demonstrate their technology and approach works. Example: ir.novavax.com
