#Bitcoin Dominance Pump Incoming? Alts in Danger!Welcome to this quick update, everyone. If you are reading my updates for the first time do follow me to get more complex charts in a very simplified way. I also post altcoin setups on Spot, Margin, and Futures.
Let's get straight to the chart.
It's been a while since I posted this chart on BTC.D,
BITCOIN Dominance is currently facing the triangular resistance.
The rejection would lead to some rally in BTC pairs.
Unless we see a confirmed breakout or a breakdown it's better to wait for now.
IMHO Bitcoin looks prime at this point so if the current money in the market flows in BTC we won't see much change in ALTS/USDT pairs. Instead, we will see a dump in BTC pairs because of an increase in BTC dominance.

If you have any money in crypto you need to know this...There is a seasonality to the Crypto space. It comes in waves led by the leader and King BTC. There is no question many projects and exciting coins coming into this space but until the market cap of Bitcoin has been dethroned, Bitcoin exists as the the KING. Many Alt coins have had 5-6 months in the sun and this chart points that their cycle may be coming to an end for a season.
If you have any money invested in Crypto you may consider selling your Alts if you haven't been totally flushed out yet or allocating more of your holdings into BTC.
I just asked my 6 year old daughter which way she thought this chart was going to go next? Her answer was... "up". I asked her why? She told me "is this is pattern?".
Yes we see these patterns in Crypto. I called the bottom on BTC.D 3 about a month ago and was proven to be early. This game is hard to be perfect at or right all of the time. We are starting to see a strong bounce off the 2017 low. My entire point in putting this together is for you to closely look at your holdings and make sure for the next 2-3 months they are BTC dominant. Just shear math will tell you will have a better return there until this market consolidates over the next couple months. Alts like to see their parent (BTC) confident before they run wild.
Just as an example I'm personally looking for ETH/BTC to drop back to .50 before shifting more of my Bitcoin to ETH. Before this happens BTC.D will be much higher than it is now. Not only will this gain a higher return but our conversions will be better and our money will go further when BTC.D crawls back to up to the .60 price. We are on a journey back to the X. It's never a straight shot path either but I'll wake you up when we get there. Adjust your accounts accordingly.

VERY IMPORTANT CLOSE FOR BTC DOMINANCE!!!BTC dominance has currently broken through the very strong historic support level! If we see a daily close tonight below this aprx 50% level we will see altcoins surge more than we already are! If we don't see the close tonight i believe the time is coming and it'll happen soon, we could see a 35% BTC dominance eventually around the peak of this altseason! Looking at the EMA ribbons we are still getting lots of pressure to the downside seeing big separation in the ribbons with no sign of slowing down, same thing with our ichimoku cloud, we are getting continuously pushed down by bearish momentum. The Zero Lag MACD is coming up pretty strong but looks like we are starting to see a bit of early signs of a reversal as we approach a potential peak. Not financial advice just my opinion!
BTC Dominance at MONTHLY RESISTANCE Sorry, Guys! I was busy, that is why I was unable to post any analysis.
Okay, Today's Analysis are very very very IMPORTANT, as it dictates the crypto market.
Bitcoin is the mother of all cryptos, if it moves, let's move accordingly.
First, let me give you the concept:
CONCEPT:
When the dominance of Bitcoin increases, the dominance of Altcoins decreases having mid to low cap. More bitcoin dominance means more people are investing in bitcoin. This means that market is investing in bitcoin and withdrawing their assets from altcoins which causes the altcoins to drop.
Let's understand the supply and demand concept.
For Bitcoin:
Supply = No. of bitcoins
Demand = No. of buyers
Now, currently is a demand for bitcoin has increased means more buyers are there in the market which directly pushes the dominance of bitcoin and ultimately leads to an increase in its price, and supply is becoming less.
For Alts:
Supply = No. of Altcoins with there supply ( More than 1000 alt cryptos with billions of supply )
Demand= Again the buyers
Now, as the Supply is immensely huge in altcoins but the buyers have shifted from altcoins to bitcoin causing a decrease in demand of altcoins, which lead to increase supply, and that caused the price to the dropdown.
That's why the price of ALTS has gone down.
Big Alts Like ETH, XRP having large Market Cap follow Bitcoins, but Mid to Low cap coins have a reverse effect of bitcoin dominance.
I have tried to educate you guys, I think you have got the idea of how Crypto Market works.
Chart Analysis:
Right now, Bitcoin dominance is between the Weekly Zone 61.98 and Monthly Zone 64.40. From 13 July, three candles have been into this zone and have been rejected by the support at 61.98.
Also, see how the Trend lines T1, T2, T3 are being respected. We might see some retrace back to 61.98, in that case, Alts are gonna PUMP BACK, if anyone holding the alts can exit during the retrace of bitcoin dominance.
Those holding Alts, don't panic, wait for the btc dominance to retrace back a bit.
BTC dominance is converging, so right now it's not stable. Let it find the support and resistance and be stabilized, then the alts will be back.
If next week the btc dominance candle breaks the monthly level 64.40 and a new candle is formed above this level, then BTC gonna pump more and Alts are gonna DUMP more.
If Btc retraces back from this level, we gonna see the pump of Altcoins.
Thanks guys,
I hope you have got the idea of how Bitcoin and let's work in this crypto market.
Bitcoin DOM BullflagA bullflag has formed on bitcoin dominance it has formed between an EMA level and a MA level, which looks quite satisfying. A breakout of this flag would push dominance up to roughly ~68% at the purply grey EMA level. Personally i think bitcoin dominance will eventually < over time, as alt coin projects gain public attention and get off the ground.
The Market Cap BTC Dominance has hit the strong resistanceThe Market Cap BTC Dominance has hit the resistance at 72.83 which is not broken since July 2017 and likely to fail in breaking out.
Volume profile since july 2017 upto now is showing less interest of traders at resistance level.
The RSI is overbought.
Stochastic has given bear cross from overbought zone.
MACD turned strong bearish.
Lagging span of ichimoku cloud is also moving down and we have a cloud support almost at 61.35.
And we have a strong price level support at 53.17 which is not broken since Sep 2018.
Volume profile since july 2017 upto now is showing less interest of traders below this support level.
If the price action may fails to breakdown the cloud support then we might have a sideways trend and during this we may enjoy the altcoins season but the real altcoin season depends on breaking down this ichimoku bullish could support and then 53.17 level support.
So Now the fear factor in trading altcoins should be decreased if you are trading altcoins with right strategy then Bitcoin cannot ruin your party it does't matter BTC price moves up or down unless the BTC.D does not take bounce form the support or the indicators again turn bullish.
This is the right time to trade the alts without fear.

Long Term View on Bitcoin DominanceYet its unclear whether BTC will take over most coins and go back to 80% or higher dominance. But fundamentally it just seems pretty unlikely. This week/month closing price should play very important role in further price development. And I'd expect some nice spice to be produced, before/if reversing to the downside.
