Commodities Are Waking Up From The SupportCommodities are waking up from the support with the help of China stocks and there's room for more upside. Bloomberg commodity index with ticker AW made a nice three-wave (A)-(B)-(C) correction with the wedge pattern into wave (C). Unless it has alternatively unfolded a leading diagonal from the highs. Anyway, in both cases we can expect a recovery, at least for a temporary period of time. Currently we can see it nicely breaking out of projected wedge pattern, which indicates for a bigger recovery, at least back to the starting point of the that wedge pattern near 120 area, or maybe even higher if correction is completed.

BOIL: Boiling up and down 🥘Still a bit tentatively but visibly, ProShares Bloomberg Natural Gas (aka BOIL) is starting to boil up, quite in accordance with our expectations. As the first part of a three-part counter movement, the ETF should climb further upwards to finish wave a in magenta, before wave b in magenta should return it to its current level. From there, BOIL should rise into the yellow zone between $7.11 and $19.05 to complete wave c in magenta as well as wave (4) in yellow, whose high should then initiate the overarching downwards trend’s final step: wave (II) in white.

Verizon Returns With $1 Billion SaleThe telecom giant sold the bonds in one tranche maturing in 30 years, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. It yields 1.55 percentage points above Treasuries after initial price discussions in the 1.7 percentage points range, said the person, who asked not to be identified as the details are private. This is the fourth $1 billion green bond transaction from the phone company since it first tapped the market in 2019, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Verizon plans to allocate an amount equal of the net proceeds to fund renewable energy facilities or purchase of renewable energy, the person said. Global sales of green bonds -- the largest category of sustainable debt by dollar volume -- reached a record $514 billion last year, from about $234 billion in 2020, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Climate Bonds Initiative, a London-based nonprofit, estimates issuance could reach a high of as much as $1 trillion by the end of this year and up to $5 trillion by 2025.
