Red Pill of Trading: A Glimpse into Hidden Market SetupsIn the depths of the market matrix, few can see beyond surface price action.
The Commitment of Traders data is a revelation, a signal that speaks to those ready to see the true forces at work. This strategy has uncovered potent setups across currencies, energies, grains, and metals—all primed for major moves.
But I cannot offer this knowledge freely. Information that comes cheap is rarely valued. True insight, like the red pill, demands a commitment. A choice to see beyond the veil. Today, I offer you just a glimpse—one of many market truths revealed by this strategy.
The Canadian Dollar.
The CAD is positioned for longs. But let me be clear: we don’t blindly long this market. Instead, we wait, watching for a confirmed entry trigger on the daily timeframe. Yet everything points towards a powerful move.
Commercials are positioned extremely long relative to the last 26 weeks, and approaching levels we last saw in August—right before CAD surged. Open interest has been increasing, and when OI increases, we ask ourselves: "Who is causing this open interest increase?". In this case, it is increasing while the Commercials are getting very long, which is bullish.
Last week, investment advisor sentiment hit a bearish extreme, a contrarian signal that lingers now into this week. CAD is undervalued against both gold and treasuries—another indication of buy potential. Two weeks ago, we saw ADX drop below 20, while commercials heavily increased their longs, creating a bullish divergence that grows with each new indicator.
Supplementary indicators stand by this setup: Insider Accumulation, Stochastics, %R, even a bullish momentum divergence is setting up, though it’s not yet confirmed.
And this is just the beginning.
If you want to uncover the full array of setups across markets this week and next, to see the real truth behind the moves, then take the red pill. Reach out. This is an opportunity, a privilege to step beyond mere price action and learn the market’s deepest secrets.
Inquire with me, and together, we’ll peel back the layers of the matrix. The choice is yours.

NZDCAD Buy opportunity at the bottom of the 1-year Channel Up.The NZDCAD pair hit our 0.85650 Target as discussed on our last idea (August 22, see chart below) and then got immediately rejected:
The rejection initiated the Bearish Leg of the 1-year Channel Up and the price is approaching once more the bottom (Higher Lows trend-line) of the pattern. The previous 2 Higher Lows were priced on the 0.236 Fibonacci retracement level, which is slightly below, but the 1D MACD is forming a Bullish Cross today, which has been an absolute buy signal this past year.
As a result, we turn bullish on this pair, targeting Resistance 1 at 0.86450.

USDCAD - Trump gave a new trend to the dollar! The USDCAD currency pair is above the EMA200 and EMA50 in the 4H timeframe and is moving in its medium-term bullish channel. If the upward movement continues, we can see the supply zone and sell within that range with the appropriate risk reward. The correction of this currency pair towards the demand zones will provide us with the next buying positions.
Following the announcement of Donald Trump’s election victory, the U.S. dollar has risen against almost every currency globally. Markets are not only preparing for Trump’s presidential win but also foresee a Republican-controlled Congress, which is crucial for the incoming president’s ability to implement policy changes through the U.S. government.
Ahead of the October 23 monetary policy meeting, officials at the Bank of Canada believed that inflationary pressures were on a downward trend and further tightening of monetary policy was unnecessary. They considered a 0.25% rate cut, though strong consensus emerged for holding off based on economic data observed since July.
Officials noted that a rate cut would require time to sufficiently impact per capita consumer spending and counterbalance the overall consumption decline driven by slower population growth. They agreed to continue normalizing their balance sheet through maturing bonds.
According to informed sources, OPEC+ has reached a preliminary agreement to postpone an increase in oil production for December. This agreement includes countries such as Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman, which have decided to extend their voluntary oil production adjustments until the end of December 2024.
One key factor weakening the Canadian dollar is the country’s economic challenges. The Canadian housing market is facing serious difficulties due to rising interest rates, and the decline in demand for new home purchases has dimmed future prospects for the market. Additionally, slower population growth, largely dependent on government immigration policies, is negatively impacting the economy. Nonetheless, some hope that China’s economic stimulus efforts and rising natural commodity prices might support the Canadian dollar, though these factors carry their own risks.
BlackRock has stated that expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut are overly optimistic. The bank cited the following reasons:
U.S. third-quarter GDP data show that consumers remain the main driver of economic growth. The average monthly job creation over the past three months has been 104,000 jobs, a healthy rate, which is likely to rise considering hiring pauses due to storm disruptions.
CADCHF - Long Trade IdeaThis is a long idea on CADCHF.
Not a pair I trade, but just an intraday analysis for fun.
As a target, looking at the equal highs above. Entering on the orderflow on the hourly timeframes. Only issue is this is still at premium of the range, so although price has been quite efficient on the way up, i'm curious if price will come to discount regardless before heading up.. if it even heads up in the first place.
Entering off the CS +OB 7h framework.
SL below the wick into the 11h BISI.
Target is BSL DOL.

GBP/CAD D1: Potential Breakout from Rising Wedge with Double TopOn the daily chart of GBP/CAD, I’ve identified a Rising Wedge pattern with a Double Top formation within it, signaling a strong potential for a significant bearish movement. A similar pattern previously occurred on September 9, 2023, when a bearish breakout from the Rising Wedge was confirmed by a double top, followed by a sharp downtrend.
Currently, the same pattern has reappeared, with the price forming the second peak of the double top, but a breakout confirmation is still pending. The next price movement is illustrated by blue arrows, indicating the expected downward direction if a breakout occurs. Additionally, the breakout area is marked with a red rectangle to clarify the critical support level that needs to be breached, while the double top’s peak is highlighted with an orange circle to emphasize this key pattern level.
The strategy plan here is to wait for a breakout below the Rising Wedge support line to open a sell position. The profit target is set at the 1.7310 level, with a stop loss placed above the double top level, around 1.8200. If a breakout confirmation occurs, the bearish movement is expected to drive the price closer to the set profit target.
USDCAD Is Approaching The Main TrendHey Traders, in tomorrow's session we are monitoring USDCAD for a buying opportunity around 1.38900 zone, USDCAD is trading in an uptrend and currently is in a correction phase in which it is approaching the trend t 1.38900 support and resistance area.
Trade safe, Joe.
CADCHF Strong short-term buy signal. The CADCHF pair is about to test its 4H MA50 (blue trend-line) as it is coming off a 2-month Support Zone rebound. A break above the Channel Down would confirm the buy signal but with the price within a consolidation Rectangle pattern, the risk of buying after a Support rebound is low.
At the same time, the 4H RSI also rebounded exactly on its 30.00 oversold barrier. Similar rebounds have delivered at least a +1.37% rise, so at this stage our Target is 0.62700.
