NAS100 ShortOANDA:NAS100USD
Nasdaq has broken it bullish move. The head and shoulder pattern was an indication of trend changing to bearish and the pattern proved to be bearish. Currently awaiting on a retest at key support turned into resistance. A bearish engulfing pattern will be a confirmation to go short on Nasdaq.

XAUUSD - GOLD - At critical level!!A look at OANDA:XAUUSD this week and we find that we are still looking for more down side.
There has been a 120+ point drop into 1872 and the first decent rally back has seen it stop right on the 382 and fall away into the 50-61.8% area from that rally. We are now at the point where we have 2 options.
1. It continues lower from here towards 1820-1830 completing the bigger pattern @ the 61.8% level from last years August low.
2. It bounces up from here back to the 1950 area where it would turn to create another ABCD pattern finishing at the 1820-1830 area again.
The other option is that we break those levels and head towards the high 1700s, but I will look at that later once we get the info in to make that call.
Also on May the 9th there is a Major CIT window which is likely to decide the direction for the rest of the month. So a move up into that time would start the move lower and a move lower into that date would see a reversal higher.
Something to keep an eye on over the coming weeks.
I hope this helps. Enjoy the week!! 👍👍
BTC/USD: An amateur prediction/projection. (Jump ~June 14th)First post!
I'm a complete newb to trading & analysis, so please point out anything that looks stupid.
I've compared this pattern to multiple points in time and they nearly always have this oscillating zig-zag pattern before an uptrend. I looked at several points and traced them and I was suprised to find that where the projected lines of support & resistance cross is where the change in trend occurs - sometimes quite dramatically.
The zig-zag pattern looks to be a good source for support & resistance bands.
The head & shoulders pattern directly preceding the zig-zag appears to project a positive change in direction.
I've been looking at sound waveforms for over 30 years and notice that many patterns look like ASDR envelopes of sounds.
The oscillating zig-zag reminds me of a percussion cymbal, where it tapers down at a constant rate. It's after that waveform has calmed/smoothed-out do we see another strike and the price changes course again.
Natural Gas Futures - Indicates "Change in Trend"On monthly chart, the price action indicates a change in trend.
Why is it a Change in Trend:
1. Price action making lower Highs (LH) and Lower Lows (LH) on monthly chart created a downward trend channel.
2. Now the price action made a Higher Low (HL) as indicated in above chart that indicates rejection of lower prices and buyers entering market to control price action and move the prices higher.
Indicating change in trend as now the trend of "Lower Lows" have changed to "Higher Low".
What do you think about it? Would you agree or not? Questions related it? please share remarks or queries in comment below section in order to improvise it.

EURJPY (H1): Selling OpportunityHi there,
There is a clear 2618 selling opportunity setting up here on EURJPY on the H1 timeframe. If you are not familiar with this strategy, the 2618 trade is a countertrend strategy. Jason Stapleton introduced me to this specific strategy in his free training. Only take trades that are in your PREDETERMINED plan. If you don't have a plan, please get one before losing any more of your money!
I trade the 2618 on the H4 and H1 timeframes on 8 currency pairs (AUDUSD, EURUSD, GBPUSD, NZDUSD, USDJPY, EURJPY, GBPAUD, and USDCAD). I take aggressive orders meaning that once the requirements of the trade are met, I place a pending buy or sell limit and let the trade play out. The only adjustments after that come if/when price reaches target 1, where I close half the position for profit and move the stop on the remaining position to breakeven, locking in a winning trade.
Entry: 127.600
Stop: 128.330
Target 1: 126.77
Target 2: 126.390
Good trading,
Luke
