EURCHF Longer Term Shorts - Massive Consecutive Candle count Really like the idea of shorts on this pair for a number of reasons, well 2 mostly! Firstly we're back up at the top of a descending channel and this pair has been falling for a long long time. And more perhaps more importantly is that the consecutive bullish candle count has never been this high since 1993 - it doesn't happen often and when it does it falls over. It's a probabilities play for sure but one I'll be taking.

#AUDUSD inverted Head & Shoulder patternNot only price managed to break above long term bearish daily channel but also seems like price completed a reverse head & shoulder pattern by breaking above the neckline as you can see in the chart.
As a result we can expect to have a bullish continuation move at least towards the bearish trendline on red.
Pull back to the broken neckline would be most favorable setup to go long in this pair.

#Oil possible more bearish moveThe bearish move that we see in this chart, which started on September 28th, has formed two bearish channels, preventing the price from going higher seven times so far.
As you can see on Friday, January 12th, with the geopolitical news from the Red Sea conflict, the price attempted to form a bullish breakout of the smaller channel but got rejected from the larger channel.
As a result of this rejection, not only did the price form a daily shooting star candlestick pattern , but also the bullish breakout now seems like a false breakout, signaling the potential for further bearish movement in oil.
We can also see that we have a bearish trendline on Stochastic oscillator which also bring more selling pressure on this commodity.

USDCHF bullish move possibilityPrice is currently testing the lower boundary of a daily bearish channel, the 78.6% FIB retracement level, and a long-term support area as well as bullish divergence between price and stochastic momentum oscillator in daily timeframe. This supportive cluster could potentially lead to the formation of a low around this price level.
On the other hand, the bearish move in price appears to be a corrective bearish ABC move, correcting approximately 61.8% to 78.6% from the previous bullish move.

BluetonaFX - AUDUSD Support Break OpportunityHi Traders!
There is a support break opportunity here on the AUDUSD 4H chart. The price action shown on the 4H chart is very contrasting; here you can see two opposite types of channels that are almost identical to each other in terms of structure. First, there was an ascending channel showing a clear uptrend until a turning point where the bears took full control, and we have been in a descending channel since. There is a support level at 0.65644; however, there is potential for a break below this level, as this level is not as strong as the support level below it at 0.64583. The reason for this is that the market may look to test May 2023's low at 0.64583.
There must be a break below 0.65644 for us to potentially retest 0.64583; if not, we can look for buying opportunities just above 0.65644, as the bulls will most likely start to regain control if there is not a support break.

Price Channels — Quick and Easy Guide.Greetings, @TradingView community!
When it comes to analyzing market trends, there's a technique that takes trend theory to the next level: price channels.
This is @Vestinda, bringing you a helpful article on the topic of the price channels, also known as trend channels, offer an exciting way to identify optimal buying and selling opportunities in the market.
Price channels serve as a valuable tool in technical analysis, helping traders determine favorable entry and exit points. By drawing parallel lines that align with the angle of an uptrend or downtrend, we create a channel. The upper trend line acts as resistance, while the lower trend line represents support. These lines highlight potential areas where the market could experience reversals or continue its current trend.
Understanding the sentiment of a price channel is crucial. Channels with a positive slope (upward) are considered bullish, indicating an upward trend, while those with a negative slope (downward) are bearish, pointing to a downward trend. Recognizing the slope of a price channel allows traders to gauge the prevailing market conditions and make informed trading decisions.
Price channels can be categorized into three main types:
Ascending channels
Descending channels
Horizontal channels
Ascending channels display higher highs and higher lows, signaling a bullish sentiment. To create an ascending channel, draw a parallel line touching the most recent peak, aligning it with the angle of the uptrend line.
Conversely, descending channels exhibit lower highs and lower lows, suggesting a bearish sentiment. To create a descending channel, draw a parallel line touching the most recent valley, aligning it with the angle of the downtrend line
Horizontal channels , also known as ranging channels, indicate a consolidation phase with no clear trend direction.
These channels provide insights into potential buying zones when prices hit the lower trend line and selling zones when prices approach the upper trend line. Understanding these channel types empowers traders to adapt their strategies to different market scenarios.
Constructing a price channel requires parallelism between the trend lines. The lower trend line is typically considered a "buy zone," while the upper trend line serves as a "sell zone." It's crucial not to force price action into the drawn channels. When the channel boundaries slope at different angles, the pattern is no longer a price channel but a triangle pattern, requiring a distinct analytical approach.
Remember that price channels don't have to be flawlessly parallel. In reality, it's rare to find price action that perfectly aligns within two trend lines.
As traders, it's important not to solely rely on textbook price patterns but also consider broader market context and other essential cues from price action. Effective price channel analysis involves embracing imperfections and making informed decisions based on the available information.
In conclusion, price channels provide traders with a powerful technique to uncover profitable opportunities in the market. By drawing parallel trend lines and identifying support and resistance levels, traders can gain valuable insights into market sentiment and enhance their trading decisions.
However, it's essential to remember that perfection isn't the goal. Instead, focus on understanding market dynamics and adapting your strategy accordingly.
💜 So there you have it - a quick and easy guide to understanding price channels in trading! 💜
PROSBUSD - Descending Channel (with Breakout to Upside) Pattern?Price channels are a trading concept that is borrowed from the traditional trend line concept. Instead of plotting a simple trend line, the price channels comprise of two trend lines, upper and lower trend lines. Trade signals are taken when price breaks out of the upper or lower trend lines or the price channel. When combined with support/resistance methods and candlestick patterns trading price channels offers a great way to trade the markets. It is worth mentioning however that price channels trading requires quite a bit of practice and analyzing the market structure.
Here, it looks like a descending price channel. We had fake breakouts to the downside and to the upside, followed by a real breakout to the upside, now we have retested the channel and the price seems ready to go up to the horizontal levels represented in the graph.
Let's see how this goes from here.

EURUSD | Perspective for the new week | Follow-up detailsThe prospect of the Federal Reserve moderating the pace of its policy tightening appear to weigh in on the U.S. currency as price action broke out of the $1.0000 mark a couple of weeks ago. However, sellers appear to be stalling all buying attempts as the $1.04500 level became a strong resistance area for sellers in the last two weeks hereby limiting all bullish attempts around this zone. In this video, I have explained what to look out for in the new week for both buying and selling opportunities.

Gold cyclesRed price channel = 7month decline (delayed quantitative tightening monetary policy due to Russia invading in February 2022, March 2022 FED implemented rate hikes 25bps then 75bps to tackle high inflation)
Blue price channel = potentially the new bull trend (FED more dovish, “inflation may have peaked”, lowering from 75bps to 50bps for December’s upcoming FOMC meeting, lower rate hikes/pausing rate hikes for some time before lowering them for the next monetary policy cycle of quantitative easing, FED could cause stagflation in place of inflation - slow growth + low employment + high inflation = good for gold)
The price surge is also a mix of China no longer in covid-19 lockdowns & then going back to lockdowns (China opens up will have an immense positive impact on gold).
Then there’s all the drama with crypto exchanges going bust (fear of other possible exchanges going bust caused mass panic, withdrawing from crypto to safe haven inflation hedge gold… not Bitcoin, the one and only gold)
Well that’s what it kinda looked like but not too sure how much price has moved since writing this mumbo or if it holds useful for data releases & speeches in the future to see if this premature channel serves correctly.
