Deep Crab

Potential Deep Crab - Not perfectLooks like there could be a potential deep crab here. However, it didnt retrace all the way to the .886. This is also a good lesson in PRZ. The PRZ is almost never exact. That is why it is a zone, however it is consolidating here above the 200MA in the PRZ. Technical target long term would be the 1.618 retrace. However I would take profits around the different fibonacci levels shown. Not sure if I will enter this one yet as I have not watched a deep crab play out yet. Also hidden bullish divergence. Not financial advice.

Bearish Deep Crab (4H)“The Deep Crab pattern evolved from two patterns—invalid Bat patterns and a specific type of Crab pattern that Scott Carney developed as a further refinement of the basic structure. The Deep Crab is similar to the original Crab pattern, as it is a 5-point extension structure that utilizes exclusively a 161.8% XA projection for the defining level in the Potential Reversal Zone (PRZ).The difference can be found at the B point which must be an 88.6% retracement of XA. In fact, the Deep Crab pattern usually possesses a B point that is beyond the 88.6% level but it does not violate the initial point (X).

GBPAUD - Bullish Deep CrabWell, is rather rare for me to share my workings this way as I prefer clean chart, so bear with me on this. There's a bullish deep crab setup on the GBPAUD, the level that the setup end was at a Major Support Level, on the daily, 4-hourly and 1-hourly chart. The first target of the bullish deep crab pattern coincides with the assumed retracement level I was looking at, with RSI at the overbought area and other things, I've already engaged the trade.

When the structure is in the midst of completing the CD leg, the violation of the B point AND the X point typically creates a situation of severe price action. In essence, the price action is violating two important prior support or resistance points. When this happens, the result is frequently a sharp move that quickly extends to the 161.8% XA projection. Another difference in the Deep Crab pattern is the AB=CD structure. The AB=CD pattern is a more important consideration in the Deep Crab, although the structure typically possesses the 127%AB=CD alternate variation it is common for these structures to possess equivalent AB=CD patterns in certain circumstances. ”

A bearish Deep Crab pattern appear which indicates the sign of reversal price. Ohhh if you wanna argue with the momentum....... u can see the MACD below kinda look like its gonna crossed.
