$LB Is A Speculative BuyIt's hard to get overly bullish on $LB, but the chart has piqued our interest. The stock has very strong support at the $16 level and $LB looks to be on the verge of breaking out. With so many bearish on retail names, $LB could outperform quite easily with so many pessimists and shorts in the stock. With 8% of the float short, we could see a nice short covering rally.
$LB is also a deep value play. $LB trades at just 7.9x this year's earnings, .037x sales, and 12.12x FCF. With the stock down from 52-week highs near $30, there's a lot of room $LB can run.
While we wouldn't bet the farm on $LB, it looks to be a speculative buy at current levels.
As always, use protective stops and trade with caution.
Good luck to all!
Emperor Entertainment Hotel: A Weighted CoinI believe Emperor Entertainment Hotel ( 296 HK ) is a weighted coin. www.slideshare.net If we focus on how insiders have actually behaved, they’ve treated investors well. The market concerns seem overblown. That discount has been compounded recently by the bear market in China and Hong Kong, and Macau gaming stocks have declined more than the indices. Even if Macau gaming activity declines and Emperor’s assets underperform competitors, unless insiders behave unfairly, it’s hard to find downside in the stock and the upside is multiples of the current price.
G-Resources: 1/6 Liquidation Value & Prior Mgmt GoneA month ago I published an idea on Seeking Alpha on a deep value stock in Hong Kong with changes afoot.. G-Resources ( 1051 HK )
G-Resources seems to be an extremely cheap stock trading at 1/6 of liquidation value.
Prior management sold most of their stake in a block sale in May and resigned from board and executive officer positions.
Market responded favorably to the sale for a few weeks, but stock has since sold off and is touching lows.
Possible reasons the opportunity exists include: China selloff, risk of total loss, stigma around the Martabe sale, etc.

Long Call Option on Solar EnergyI recently wrote a post on STRI on my investment blog, which you can check out here: rockvuecapital.wordpress.com
The company is trading at ridiculous discounts to various metrics including book value, NCAV, net cash, sales, and it has an EV to EBITDA of 0.92, better than 100% of all companies in its industry.
I like the price point of $0.36 to enter on the long side.
Please let me know your thoughts.

NSPR Could Be Deep Value Comeback StoryI wrote an extensive piece on NSPR in which I go into depth on the company and the potential turnaround story, you can find it here: rockvuecapital.wordpress.com
Trading at a 77% discount to book value, an 81% discount to sales, an 81% discount to NCAV, and a 43% discount to net cash, NSPR is roadkill in the market. However, no matter how great the value may seem, it does nothing for us if the price action doesn't coincide with our thesis. For this reason we must take into consideration the chart. As you can see from the chart, there is tremendous amounts of consolidation at the 0.76 to .60 price channel. In an effort to focus more on the price action, I am looking for a breakout from that 0.76 price level. If that breakout happens, it could signal the bullish thesis I laid out. A more convincing price action would be a breakout above the 50 MA. I am content to wait on this one and wait for the price action to confirm my entry.
Potential Bullish Wedge in KORSMichael Kors (KORS) is a company that has been on my radar for a good quarter. Ever since the retail apocalypse, many retail stocks continue to pop up on my screens in my search for deep value. KORS is an interesting play, and I will have a detailed write up on it on my investing blog (rockvuecapital.wordpress.com) within the week. But for now, lets look at the technicals.
Like I mentioned in the title, KORS seems to be forming a wedge pattern, with the potential to go bullish if things line up. KORS is closing in on breaking its 50 MA in a bullish manner, while at the same time being provided support from higher lows and higher highs since March.
What's important to watch for is the initial breakout above the 50 MA. If it breaks out above its 50 MA, it has the fundamentals to ride a bullish trend into the mid $40s, at which I would begin placing profits, and then anything after that I would camp my stop loss right around the mid $40s and continue to trail my stops and enjoy the trend.
Details on the company fundamentally will be coming soon. Look out for them at rockvuecapital.wordpress.com
