$ELY Bullish Chart Opened Bull Risk Reversals on ELY , chart looks bullish in my opinion. I sold the $20 put and bought the $30 call JAN opex
MACD cross, RSI curl, EMA curl , back above the 22 resistance/support line with good buy volume.
I like the R/R here on the long side, another idea would be to open bullish put credit spreads or go long naked calls. Give it some time I don' t expect a straight line up, great long term common share add too IMO with Top Golf printing money for ELY as they expand locations.
$26.5 first PT
ELY
$ELY longer term trade ideaStarted a LEAPS position with JAN 2024 25c on Callaway Golf.
Technically at good support (which was previously resistance), and appears to have bottomed.
Will add upon breakout of dotted down trendline.
More conservative idea would be to wait for breakout and confirmation, hence why I only purchased a few contracts, and this is a long term idea.
Keep an eye on volume, it needs more .
Breakout with volume and confirmation of bottoming - full position
Cheers
ELY Double Bottom Am I doing this right?
I see a double bottom form where the pink box is. The neckline to the double bottom gets tested a few times. Cloned the left diagonal trendline and moved over to the right.
Support at $32.25-$33.
Downtrend started on 6/1
Uptrend started on 7/19
Earnings call on 8/6
Timing seems right for a long entry.
Should I go into more detail in future TA posts? (Should I make future TA posts?
This is my first technical analysis so if I'm way off let's talk!
Royalty and Streaming - Precious MetalsFranco-Nevada (FNV) is the largest company within the Royalty market.
April 2021,
TORONTO, April 19, 2021 /PRNewswire/ - Franco-Nevada has acquired 14.7% of Vale's outstanding Participating Debentures ("Royalty Debentures") from the Brazilian Development Bank ("BNDES") and the Government of Brazil for $538M. The Royalty Debentures provide holders with life of mine net sales royalties on Vale's Northern and Southeastern Iron Ore Systems and on certain copper and gold operations (together, the "Royalty"). This transaction provides royalty exposure to some of the world's largest and most profitable integrated iron ore mines with reserve weighted mine lives of 30 years and potential for multiple additional decades through reserve growth. The Royalty covers a total of 15.6 thousand square kilometers of mineral properties held by Vale in Brazil, also offering exposure to a number of development properties. The Royalty currently generates an annualized pre-tax cash yield of 10% based on acquisition cost and the most recent semi-annual Royalty Debenture payment. The amount of production capacity subject to the Royalty is expected to grow by approximately +60% by 2026 which would imply an 8% yield on investment at that time, assuming consensus long term iron ore prices.

ELY - ELY GOLD ROYALTIES INCExtract from a report on Seeking Alpha:
Out of the 20 followed companies, 16 experienced a share price growth in April. The best result, a 40.85% growth, was recorded by ELY Gold Royalties (OTCQX:ELYGF). The majority of its growth was recorded after April 23; however, the catalyst is hard to identify, as there was no company-specific news and also the gold price was relatively stable around this date. A more than 26% growth was recorded by Great Bear Royalties. The company is freshly established and it started trading on TSX only on April 5. Its only asset is a 2% NSR royalty on Great Bear Resources' (OTCQX:GTBDF) Dixie Project. Double-digit gains were recorded also by Sailfish Royalty (OTCQX:SROYF) and Nomad Royalty (OTCQX:NSRXF). On the other hand, the worst performance was recorded by three of the newly-covered companies, namely Star Royalties, Empress Royalty, and Trident Royalties. Their share prices declined by 6.52%, 5.56%, and 4.08% respectively.
ELY | ShortNYSE:ELY
Possible Scenario: SHORT
Evidence: Overbought RSI + Momentum falling
This is my idea and could be wrong 100%.
Long on Ely. Breakout. Looks like a great breakout so far. Slight pull back but seems price formed new support. RSI seems a bit overbought but MACD is looking promising. Low volume is a concern too. Any thoughts? I want out at 20$.
The white arrow indicates my entry point. Looking back, it was probably a poor entry and I may have gotten lucky. Should have waited until price touched support.
Decided to pick up tech analysisAlthough this is the first chart I have published, I do think I am picking it up easily. I can't decide whether ELY is in a channel or just broke out of a flag. What are your thoughts? What tools do you use to confirm a breakout?
Sale on Callaways!!!Wait to buy that new set of Callaway stocks you've been wanting. they will be discounted pretty soon. There is a price gap near strong support. Buy low sell high. I'm not in right now because, besides all the great balance and income numbers, the company's debt nearly tripled YoY. still, I love Golf and Callaway is leading the pack in many regards.
