Trends still show upward movement; CPI Data this weekSo trends that called for upward movement confirmed this upward movement last week. I had mentioned in my last video that the candlestick pattern for May 1st was extremely bullish, the following two days confirmed that movement in my opinion and given that trends called for upward movement, we crossed above the zero line on MACD Momentum into a bullish zone, and we were pushing above that Daily lower high resistance level around 5160, I went long. I did cash that trade out around 5260 for a $5000 trade.
Given the uncertainty of how CPI could come in, I am likely to stick out until I see that data this Wednesday. While I'm not certain what Core CPI will do, and that SHOULD be the main data point we pay attention to, I have concerns based on a 10% hike in gas prices over much of April that Headline CPI could come in above expectations and cause at least an initial panic sell off.
We are nearing the potential for an overbought state on MFI/RSI on the daily, so watch for algo trading around those levels as well, at least on the initial touch. Obviously we rented living space in overbought territory at the beginning of this year, so it doesn't mean we have to reverse at all, especially in this FOMO market.
I continue to see the current conditions as very bullish, in spite of significant concerns I have for the ES Economy overall. While there was a time when the US Markets reflected the state of the US Economy, I think we have a massive disconnect between the two that was caused by the COVID Pandemic. I think the new trend is when the economy looks rough, dump money into Mag 7 / NYFAANG / or basically whatever hyper select group of stocks equals the majority of the market cap out there, which will just push markets higher in spite of economic conditions.
Walmart Earnings on Thursday will be something to watch, moreso as it might show insight into consumer health more than what is actually happening with Walmart.
Trends into today are;
Last Macro Trend Signal Spots (ES Contract)
30m - 5251 Uptrend (5/13/2024) Higher High
1Hr - 5241 Downtrend (5/10/2024) Higher Low

3Hr - 5157 Uptrend (5/3/2024) Higher High

Weekly - 4769 Uptrend (12/11/2023) Higher High
Monthly - 5304 Uptrend (03/31/2024) Higher High
Economic Data;
PPI & Powell Speaking on Tuesday
CPI on Wednesday
Jobs data on Thursday
Earnings;
Home Depot Tuesday
Walmart on Thursday
Geopolitical;
Russia has had a major push into Ukraine, not sure it will matter but there is the potential for a major offensive to pick up pace there.
Israel / Hamas conflict continues to be a concern but doesn't seem to have much influence on markets at the moment.
Overall Sentiment;
Shorter Term - Neutral
Short Term - Neutral
Medium Term - Mmmm... really undecided on this one
Long Term - Bullish
Overall, I could see a quick pull back overall this week, but even if this happens I think the market will heal whatever dip we have and we will end higher overall by the end of next week.
Safe trading, and remember your risk management plan!

S&P500 Buy opportunity on 4H.The S&P500 index is recovering from the last Higher Low at the bottom of the Channel Up, which even broke below the 4H MA50 (blue trend-line) last Thursday for the first time since May 02. The 4H MACD is forming the first Bullish Cross since that very same date, which was also a recovery sequence after a bottom on the Channel Up pattern.
Having also breached into the Ichimoku Cloud and rebounded, we expect a similar short-term rally towards the top (Higher Highs trend-line) of the Channel Up. That rally's first stop was on the 1.618 Fibonacci extension. As a result, our current Target is 5400 (marginally below the 1.618 Fib).

SP500. Weekly trading levels 27 - 31.05.2024During the week you can trade from these price levels. Finding the entry point into a transaction and its support is up to you, depending on your trading style and the development of the situation. Zones show preferred price ranges WHERE to look for an entry point into a trade.
If you expect any medium-term price movements, then most likely they will start from one of the zones.
Levels are valid for a week, the date is in the title. Next week I will adjust the levels based on new data and publish a new post.
! Please note that brokers have a difference in quotes, take this into account when trading.
The history of level development can be seen in my previous posts. They cannot be edited or deleted. Everything is fair. :)
----------------------------------------------
I don’t play guess the direction (that’s why there are no directional arrows), but zones (levels) are used for trading. We wait for the zone to approach, watch the reaction, and enter the trade.
Levels are drawn based on volumes and data from the CME. They are used as areas of interest for trading. Traded as classic support/resistance levels. We see the reaction to the rebound, we trade the rebound. We see a breakout and continue to trade on a rollback to the level. The worst option is if we revolve around the zone in a flat.
Do not reverse the market at every level; if there is a trend movement, consider it as an opportunity to continue the movement. Until the price has drawn a reversal pattern.

S&P500 INDEX: Growth Will Continue!
S&P formed a cute cup & handle formation after quite a strong
bearish movement on this week.
A bullish breakout of the neckline of the pattern
is an important sign of strength of the buyers.
I think that the Index will keep growing next week.

SPX Showing Signs of Weakness at PCZ of a Bearish Alternate BatThe RSI on the daily has begun to rollover as the SPX appears to have rejected off of the Bearish Alternate Bat HOP level. There does not appear to be much nearby support within the range the SPX is currently trading in so if it gets back below the previous All-Time High I could see it coming back down to around $5100 maybe even $5000 - $4800. This all seems to be brought on by the increase in JGB Yields disrupting the Carry Trade. We may see them try to stabilize the carry trade around $5100 but there is a heightened chance of failure.
More on the carry trade can be seen in the related idea below.
S&P500 Short-term buy opportunityThe S&P500 (SPX) index gave us an excellent bottom buy signal on May 02 (see chart below) that comfortably hit our 5200 Target:
The pattern that prevailed is a Channel Up, holding since the start of the month. As long as it is supported by the 4H MA50 (blue trend-line) and the 4H RSI Rectangle holds, we expect the current consolidation to give a similar 2.0 Fibonacci extension Target at 5370, such as the May 10 High.

S&P500: Wait for the ideal level to rebuy.The S&P500 index is neutral on its 1D technical outlook (RSI = 44.135, MACD = 2.270, ADX = 26.567) despite the fact that it made a new All Time High, in fact turning the former R level into S. The uptrend is being supported by the 4H MA50 since the May 2nd breakout and the Channel Up presents a new low risk buy opportunity close to the 4H MA100, ideally when the 4H RSI approaches the 30.000 limit. We will wait for the opportunity to go long and target the top of the Channel Up (TP = 5,400).

Short term analysis for ES or MESCME_MINI:ES1! Broke out a 1 month flag on May 6th (in white). This pushed us to all time highs and now the spot buyers want to get over for next week is the 3 month megaphone resistance at 5349 area (in green). Get above there and buyers can push for 5374. If sellers want to dip us this upcoming week, it can start on the fail of 5302. which will target 5274 area.
now realize, it has been one hell of a run, coming off 10 straight greed days. Consolidation between 5302-5349 is ideal for Monday in my opinion. Only time will tell!
S&P500 Ultimate 20-year cheat-sheet! See when to sell!The S&P500 index (SPX) is having another very strong bullish month, following the red 1M candle of April, which was the first after 5 straight months of profit. Many might be wondering why a deeper correction didn't come at this stage and the answer is simply that it's not yet the time for it.
We present to you today what we call the "Ultimate stock market cheat sheet" which is simply an observation of the market's Cycles of roughly the past 20 years. As you can see, since the 2007/08 Housing Crisis, there is a very consistent pattern and the Sine Waves display perfectly that frequency.
More specifically, we can see that a rough frequency when the S&P500 tops is 3.5 years. Every 42 months (3.5 years) the index either hits a High or already has and is on a minor decline before a stronger correction comes, which is always within the technical standards of pull-backs within a greater Bull Cycle expansion. Roughly also, the sell signal is given after the 1M RSI breaks below its MA trend-line having previously been on overbought territory (above 70.00).
As a result, the market still has another full year until a sell signal emerges (July 2025). Of course it is advisable to be off stocks before that date just to be on the safe side but the important conclusion of this finding is that investors can continue feel safe buying for several more months.
What's your take on this? Do you still feel safe buying?

SP500. Weekly trading levels 13 - 17.05.2024SP500 is again almost at a historical high, with one zone to go ahead.

S&P500: Breather 😮💨The momentum in the S&P500 chart slowed down yesterday. With a view to the upper price target, however, there should still be room for further expansion in the current phase of the turquoise wave 5. Once the high has been placed, a larger corrective movement is on the cards. Please note our alternative scenario (38% probable). This option suggests the possibility of an already intact wave-2 sell-off. This scenario will be activated if the price falls below the support level of 4964 points.
S&P500 - Bullish opportunites ahead! - Long in flight Last weeks levels provided to be partly actionable and price has immediately responded (See attached post). Comfortable holding this 50% long position with stop/target untouched. Will be looking for opportunities to buy the other 50% and increase risk as I'm confident in the bullish sentiment after last weeks Feds statement. I hold an underlying belief that the FED does actually have a decent pulse on the economy that drives the stock market - obviously not the "real" economy but an important one no less. I'm personally very bullish 2024 on nearly all assets.
So lets unpack the chart -
Daily chat shows a "comfortable" pullback. One very similar to Nov. 2024. Evidence on the RSI suggests we are positioned for months of bullish room to run ahead. So I'm interested in getting long at least back to comfortable new highs.
2 hour chart shows our first aggressive entry hit and the second entry came within .30% of getting filled. Although I would have loved the second to get filled, It's a non-factor. Thankfully price has strongly verified our bullish identification of these price levels and the overall theory.
Although the stop of the aggressive was close to the conservative entry - it was separated by several key levels and strategically placed. I've got a good idea of where things are going and the opportunities on the way are endless. The rest is risk management

S&P500: Bullish trend confirmed.S&P500 has turned bullish on the 1D timeframe (RSI = 58.980, MACD = 2.870, ADX = 28.757) as today it is trading and will most likely close over the 1D MA50 for the third day in a row. Having crossed over the LH, the index has invalidated the bearish sentiment of April and a new Channel up is emerging. If it capitalizes on the 1D MACD Bullish Cross, we expect the 1D MA50 to hold from now on as the medium term Support, just like the 1D MA100 held on the April 19th bottom. Buy and target the R1 level on the short term (TP = 5,275).

S&P500 above the 1D MA50 after 3 weeks.S&P500 (SPX) is already going even better than our bottom buy signal last week (May 02, see chart below), having topped the 4H Channel Up, considerably above the 4H MA200:
The index closed yesterday above the 1D MA50 (blue trend-line) for the first time since April 11. Last time it did this was on November 03 2023 and after 5 days of consolidation, it broke the previous Lower High and resumed the long-term bullish trend by forming a Channel Up.
It's first Higher High target was within the 2.236 - 2.0 Fibonacci extension Zone, so once it breaks the April's High, we will add more buys, targeting 5650 (Fib 2.0).

Trends in upward movement facing some exhaustionTrends are mostly in an upward movement stage, looking to remove the violation left of the 12hr / Daily lower high trend indicators.
Trends into today are;
Last Macro Trend Signal Spots (ES Contract)
30m - 5086 Uptrend (5/2/2024) Higher High
1Hr - 5117 Uptrend (5/1/2024) Higher High
2Hr - 5117 Uptrend (5/1/2024) Lower High
3Hr - 5157 Uptrend (5/3/2024) Higher High

Weekly - 4769 Uptrend (12/11/2023) Higher High
Monthly - 5304 Uptrend (03/31/2024) Higher High
As explained in the video, everything is in a higher high between 30m-6hr except the 2hr, which was part of the Powell Pump reversal.
As I explained my trades over last week were a 70 point gain into the Powell Pump, a 70 point reversal after the Powell Pump, and a Long position from 5080 which I cashed out today as we pushed above the Daily downtrend resistance of 5170 for just over $4000. Additionally those Soybean Meal contracts I acquired around 335 were both cashed at around 372 for about $3700 each (I had 2). I don't say this to brag, but moreso to explain why I am not hungry for another trade, as I'm already financially set for the month of May at just under $20,000. This will be why I may seem overly picky about my trades and what may be a good position I may wait if it doesn't look like a borderline perfect trade.
Economic Calendar is very light this week, just jobs data on Thursday.
Earnings calendar is mostly important to watch tomorrow, especially around Disney from my perspective.
Geopolitical tensions could hit a new tension point as Israeli troops move into Rafah.
Overall, my general sentiment on the short term, and probably most of this week, is sideways at the moment.
Safe trading, and remember your risk management.
PacMan Trend Symbol; Guidance into PCE and Next WeekThe video explains it all a lot better, but basically, we are sitting with higher highs and lower lows on the trend timeframes that brought us here (30m-4hr), otherwise known as the Pac-Man symbol.
Trends into today are;
Last Macro Trend Signal Spots (ES Contract)
30m - 5083 Uptrend (4/25/2024) Higher High
1Hr - 5083 Uptrend (4/25/2024) Higher High
2Hr - 5131 Uptrend (4/25/2024) Higher High
3Hr - 5123 Uptrend (4/25/2024) Higher High
4Hr - 5131 Uptrend (4/25/2024) Higher High
6Hr - 5250 Downtrend (4/2/2024) Higher Low
12Hr - 5204 Downtrend (4/4/2024) Higher Low
Daily - 5166 Downtrend (4/12/2023) Higher Low
Weekly - 4769 Uptrend (12/11/2023) Higher High
Monthly - 5304 Uptrend (03/31/2024) Higher High
If we move directly higher from here, the 6hr is going to be a lower high, but it will be the lone trend calling for a lower movement, as when the 12hr and Daily strike, we will have a higher high.
I did not account for us to drop so harshly from GDP data yesterday, and certainly didn't expect that drop to fizzle out and us to push higher over after this occurred. This is why I almost never short into Earnings season.
Economic Calendar;
PCE Data is today. I foresee it pushing us lower, but not with enough confidence to blindly trade short into it.
Major next issue is the Fed Meeting on Wednesday of next week.
Overall, likely just missed opportunity from not going short at the close of Wednesday and catching most of the move back down yesterday, although I likely would have let at least half the profit reverse before I jumped out anyways.
I expect I'm going to miss out on a drop today, but without trend confirmation I just don't feel strongly enough about shorting into this PCE data at this point.
I made some good trades earlier, so I'm fine with it, and I still have Gold Long from 2305 and my Soy contracts are FINALLY starting to generate some revenue at around $1500 each.
Safe trading, and remember your risk management.
