EURJPY to find buyers at current swing low?EURJPY - 24h expiry
We are trading at oversold extremes.
This is positive for short term sentiment and we look to set longs at good risk/reward levels for a further correction higher.
Preferred trade is to buy on dips.
The hourly chart technicals suggests further downside before the uptrend returns.
We therefore, prefer to fade into the dip with a tight stop in anticipation of a move back higher.
Although the anticipated move higher is corrective, it does offer ample risk/reward today.
We look to Buy at 162.20 (stop at 161.18)
Our profit targets will be 164.70 and 164.95
Resistance: 164.90 / 167.40 / 170.90
Support: 162.45 / 159.40 / 154.40

EURJPY bottomed on the 1D MA50. +5.40% upside potential. The EURJPY pair has been trading within a Channel Up pattern since the September 16 Low. Yesterday it made a Higher Low on the 1D MA50 (blue trend-line) and rebounded. This is identical to the post December 07 2023 Channel Up, which was also supported by its 1D MA50 until its very top (July 11 2024).
The 1D RSI sequences between the two fractals are also similar and even more importantly the Channel Up patterns appear to have a high degree of symmetry. So far the two Bullish Legs have risen by +5.40%.
As a result, we are expecting another +5.40% from yesterday's bottom, so our Target is just below it at 170.000.

EURJPY | MarketoutlookThe policy divergence between the US Fed and SNB supports the pair at lower levels.
Jobless claims dropped to 227,000 for the week ending October 19, down from 242,000 the week before, suggesting some stability in the labor market. The four-week moving average rose by 6,750, reaching 231,000, which indicates that jobless claims are still showing fluctuations despite the recent decline.
The S&P Global Flash U.S. Manufacturing PMI increased slightly to 47.8 in October, up from 47.3 in September. However, this still shows that manufacturing activity is contracting for the fourth month in a row. On the other hand, the Flash Services PMI rose to 51.5, indicating modest growth in the services sector, which is important since it makes up a large part of the U.S. economy.

Buy EUR/JPY Bullish FlagThe EUR/JPY pair on the M30 timeframe presents a potential Buying opportunity due to a recent downward breakout from a well-defined Bullish Flag pattern. This suggests a shift in momentum towards the Upside in the coming Hours.
Key Points:
Buy Entry: Consider entering a Long position around the current price of 164.33, positioned close to the breakout level. This offers an entry point near the perceived shift in momentum.
Target Levels:
1st Support – 165.42
2nd Support – 166.05
Stop-Loss: To manage risk, place a stop-loss order below 163.70. This helps limit potential losses if the price unexpectedly reverses and breaks back upwards.

EURJPY: Well supported on the 1W MA100 but needs more to rise.EURJPY is marginally bullish on its 1D technical outlook (RSI = 55.394, MACD = 0.690, ADX = 37.501), practically neutral as it's been ranging between the 1W MA50 and 1W MA100. The long term pattern is a Channel Up since 2021 and the recent 1W MA100 test is the new bottom (HL) of the pattern. The 1W MA50-100 consolidation is the bottom formation and even though it's encouraging we need a crossing over the 1W MA50 in order to validate the new rise. Technically it should be around +18.70% like the previous two. Set your target accordingly (TP = 183.500).

EURJPY Buy opportunity only if the 1D MA50 breaks. The EURJPY pair has been trading within a long-term Channel Up since the March 07 2022 bottom. The start of July saw it experience a strong correction, technically the latest Bearish Leg of the pattern that broke below the 1W MA50 (blue trend-line) for the first time since the week of March 20 2023 and hit the 1W MA100 (green trend-line) for the first time since March 07 2022!
The 1W MA100 held, which confirmed its status as the multi-year Support but the rebound was short-lived as, even though it marginally broke above the 1W MA50, it failed to close a candle above it.
As a result, this will be our signal to buy, a 1W candle closing above the 1W MA50. Once the bullish break-out takes place, our Target will be 182.000, which represents a +19.50% rise from the Higher Low, which is the % growth of both previous Bullish Legs within the Channel Up.
