Trade Like A Sniper - Episode 8 - EURUSD - (29th May 2024)This video is part of a video series where I backtest a specific asset using the TradingView Replay function, and perform a top-down analysis in order to frame ONE high-probability setup. I choose a random point of time to replay, and begin to work my way down the timeframes. Trading like a sniper is not about entries with no drawdown. It is about careful planning, discipline, and taking your shot at the right time in the best of conditions.
A couple of things to note:
- I cannot see news events.
- I cannot change timeframes without affecting my bias due to higher-timeframe candles revealing its entire range.
- I cannot go to a very low timeframe due to the limit in amount of replayed candlesticks
In this session I will be analyzing EURUSD, starting from the Monthly chart.

High Volume Times to Trade / Part 1 🔣Hello traders welcome back to another Concept video. In this video, we detail some of the best times to trade the Eur/Usd Currency pair. This happens to be at Session opens. We go through the 3 Session opens and walkthrough examples of increasing volume ( Large candles). Session opens can provide a great catalyst for 1) a continuation of momentum of the preceding trend or 2) a dramatic reversal. The Euro and the U.S. Dollar are not open during the Asian session and so the candles are much smaller and the average volatility is much less. However, the same concept applies regarding the former.
The Hidden Key --> Multi-Timeframe Analysis 🪀I begin by explaining the Video Idea--> Using Multi-Timeframe analysis to put together a trade idea. MTF analysis is absolutely crucial for running a profitable trading business... It's something that takes some experience but once you understand the way in which all timeframes move together it's like an Aha moment. We look at 3 timeframes.. the 1Hr, 4hr and the Daily timeframes. We observe an example from just a few days ago that outlines how it was very possible to catch a 20 pips after the Monday(3/25/24) daily candle closed bullish.. Give and rocket and leave a comment for similar content in the future!
Let's Talk Liquidity! ⚒️At first, Liquidity may seem like an abstract and confusing concept reserved for only those Finance nerds and geeks to tackle. Turns out it's really not too sophisticated after all and can be though of in terms of Fomo. Fomo if you are not aware already is simply a concept related to chasing the market because of a Fear of missing out. Any action out of fear is typically not the best choice. In trading, this is especially true.
Liquidity is what the market needs prior to a big move. Liquidity doesn't necessarily mean that the market needs to pin an extreme low or high from the previous session. Liquidity is also gathered when the market ranges/consolidates for awhile. If you go back and backtest, you will observe that preceding a large move, the market usually consolidates first. Liquidity also dries up during Asian session. You can observe that the volatility is much smaller than London/Ny session as the market moves alot less # of pips. Liquidity dries up prior to news annoucnemnts becuase of uncertainty obviously. This is the very reason why the market moves so much during news is because of lower participation from larger market participants, therefore an increased chance of wild and random price movements.
This is explained more in depth in this concept video, Let's talk Liquidity.
High Volume Times to Trade / Part 2 🔢Hello Traders welcome back to another concept video. This is the second video in our series -- High Volume Times to Trade --
We talk about
1) 4Hr Candle Opens/Closes
2) New York Stock Exchnage Open
3) London Close
Scalping/Intra-day trading during these times, in my experience, can provide unique opportunities to profit on Eur/Usd.
Similar to Part 1 of our series, these additional times to trade can provide that extra volume for
1) a nice continuation of the preceding trend
2) a short-term reversal of the preceding trend
and 3) act as a catalyst for the beginning of a higher timeframe trend
Determining the Daily Bias / EurUsd Example 📋How do we create a Daily bias to organize our trades ideas?
After all, we want to implement our trades with confidence so that we can manage them as best we can. A Reasonable daily bias can guide us through the volatility and mayhem of intra-day market behavior.
In this video I go through a few hindsight examples and also touch on the current market environment.

My Backtesting Results on NZDCHFHolding trades is what I want to get better at and backtesting is going to help me do it.
I've backtested NZDCHF today and found that it was a remarkable session.
I was able to enter 4 trades in the span of 3 months gaining over what would have been 15% from the trades, but one trade hit my break even point so I gained around 12% from my trades.
I used the monthly, weekly, and daily timeframes with most of my entries coming from the daily timeframe.
I used my own strategy known as TMP. It stands for Trend, Market Structure, Price Action(or, pending orders).
I identify the trend first, then set my estimation zone, then place my pending order. In that order, thats it.
I don't use support and resistance, trend lines, or indicators for the most part. I like using price action. Its my preference that has changed throughout my trading career.
I've noticed I a few reasons why I don't enter my best setups are due it
1) Money trauma( family had poor money management)
2) Time limit( pressure from showing results)
To get over those, I have set parameters to take partials, move my trades to break even, and set pending orders to eliminate myself not entering my own trades.
This helps in the long run and has helped since collecting data on myself since the start of me using prop firms.
I can only pray that through my backtesting and trading journey, this can help you too.
Please let me know if you have questions regarding my backtesting or found something unique that helped you.
Safe trading❤️
INDENTIFYING TRENDS LONG/SHORT TERM!!Just wanted to share a little insight into identifying trends and positioning yourself in the market for minimising risk and maximising profit! Its import to identify trends both short and long term to understand which direction price is heading and possibly reversal points. Top down analysis mixed with key levels and trend patterns is how I look at the market without getting to technical, and candle formations from these areas is where I look at entering positions.. everyone has there own trading style and this is just what works for me, I don't like to over complicate it with a million indicators, trendlines etc. I recommend finding a strategy that works for you and sticking to it, there are a heap of different ways to trade...

EURUSD : Scalping 30m chart strategy , simple!Think you are the master of discipline?
Here's your potential way to make it big trading!
Extremely straight forward is this RSI 14 , 30 minute chart strategy.
When RSI goes to around 70+ it's time to short and aim for 10-15 pip
When RSI goes to around 30 and below , it's time to long and aim for 10-15 pip.
You can place your SL with 10 pip lower/higher and your TP with 15 pip higher/lower.
Money management is critical and discipline is critical.
You are not to aim for bigger profit, further SL, trade when RSI is not overbought/oversold and so on.
Money management should be almost minimal lot size with every trade like this you take.
Split it with 4-5 currencies and you have yourself a strategy to follow and test.
Good luck!

Both traders and investors need to be on guard for false breakout reversals. Seeing this pattern in action can provide an excellent profit target, entry point, or prevent major drawdown!

How To Trade GapsIn this video I cover how you can trade using gaps on the DXY.
Since you cannot trade the DXY directly, you can trade usd cross pairs. In specific, EURUSD.
EURUSD and DXY have a high inverse correlation. Therefore when 1 is going up, the other is going down.. and vice versa.
I hope you enjoy this video!
