#GBPUSD - GO LONG AFTER THE FALL? - *SMT**SMT = smart money theory = see relasted tutoprial regarding what smart money is. Sm,art money is how the charts can be manipulated, and how y0ourself can be manipulated into believing a false sense technical analysis.
With the price dropping in one day what iyt gained over the course of the week. The price has dropped below sell side liquidity levels, but to remain bullish needs to stay above a CERTAIN BULLISH ORDER BLOCK LEVEL, otherwise we could see the price turn right back around and go down for GBP, but I think the BOE will be quicker to adapt to the FED knowing the consequences now. S I would guesss that it is moving up into the the hourly fvg and then will get rejected above the premium by smart money, amnd that point it dips a little further, as to where y09ou can enter a second time afgter taking profit the first time around 1.22665 Enter again near 1.21420 if possible and continue to ride this up to 1.26090 to be safe.
I have two entries
both at 1.21420
First one reaches what is said above and you take your fiorst profit there, it could slip back down to the entrance or even further, into a small fair value gap below which I have prepared for on the second entry,. and ther stop losses at 1.21120 & 1.20525
the second run with the deeper stop loss also has a much larger target at 1.26090 ner the top of the bearish order block. the R:R is 6:1 and 5:1 respectively, so if this woprks out t he way I ho [e it doers in the next week or two, 10% can be added top the account if played correctly.
I was once the smarrt money student who has become an instructor. Let's Hope my intuitions are correct about thias.
With that said if you hit the first take profit but go out on the second sdtop loss, you should still be at a winning ratio. It's about how to grow yojur account. Everyday you won't hit a homerun. But if y0ou hold the bat long enough, the ball will go far.
Cheers, Good Luck and Good trading.
Retail vs. Smart Money - Truth vs. Manipulation tutorial - *SMT*
SMT= Smart Money Theory. Look at the related idea for a previous tutorial on this. This will be a continuation of that tutorial, how we're taught to trade is manipulation tactics by the institutions, and how to realize whats actually happening.
When I first started, I started to learn how to trade under a an MLM company called iMarkets Live. Some instructors were good and were starting to catch on to what was happening to price action. Others just marked levels,. or tried to use way too many jndicators to find a trade. I ended up losing a lot of money that year because there was no cohesion. I find myself asking "why?" a lot. And if this "Trade the trend is supposed to work so well, why was I getting screwed so bad everytime I went to trade off that trend line. Until I fdinally found the one person who dug deep into the charts and found the truth and I've never seen any other trade get more accurate while trading live.
1. Price is manipulated on every chart. That is their commodity to protect and they'll go down in flames protecting their commodity. Whether that commodity is currency or stocks, there's someone or groups that own enough to control the chart. And that algorithm re-starts everydsay at midnight NY Time. Just before the London session starts
2. The charts above represent what a smart Money Technical Analyst would create for his chart, the second is the retail theory, how your "Taught" to think what tedhnical analysis is supposed to be. Fore example, you would normally out a trendline going down atop the downtrend, and when the price breaks that down trend then you'll told wait for the "Retest" of the price to hit that trend line. But sometimes it doesn't and you've missed your opportunity at a breakaway right? No, you just followed the wrong path on how to read price action. And could've caught that breakaway knowingt that it's not "retesting" the top trendline, instead it's finding the last price that the institutions sold off hard to try and make the retail traders sell as well. Evidently they were successful because the institution then come in and buy it up and a huge discount. And they buy up so much at the start of the run, it breaks the structures previous swing high In fact they probabloy are still holding a short position near that swing high so aftyer it breaks the high and closes above it, it retraces slightly back to the price area of the the previous high. Why? So they can then breakeven on the trade of holding that short while also capitalizing on the long they are taking because of how much of a discount they were able to buy up.
Lets take the current chart for example. When you see the price formation of a low / high / lower low, The last bullish candle in the high formation is now Resistance that will turn Support. I have the Low / High / Lower Low Color Coordinated with it's Breaker Blocks Border or just "Breaker."
As you can see it, each time it breaks the previous structures high (Where I write Break of structure with a line at the top of previous DAILY body that was broke and closed abnove, thje price then slighjtly retreats, back into that High candle's price range, doesn't close below it and then makes another large move to the upside. Its retreating down to a place where they could still be hold a short from the previous quarter (yes, you read that right, they have deep pockets, they can be in the red forever and ity weon't matter, they;'ll manipulate it until they get what's theirs, this is why Larry Williams has 90 day lookbacks in his analysis)
Here's the scary part. Now that you have read that and it seems so obvious and your going "Why was I taught to think about it like this?" (See Next Chart)
I was taught to think of analysis this way, I'm sure you have at one point. When the trendline breaks then we should see a retest and more bullish trend / channel. However, after it breaks the trendline, it didn't retest, neither is it really following the "Channel" it created. It's inside the channel but Following the trend as you would like to see, correct? even if we look a little closer on the 4 hour it looks further off
Why is it not doing exactly as we were taught it should? Because we were taught wrong. Price doesn't know if it's following a channel, it doersn't know if it's creating a Triangle, it doesn't know if it's making a flag.
What does it remember? Price levels. Therefore, the way we were taught was wrong and the correct way to look at support and resistance is actually an area within a price range. Why? As mentioned before, it's the institutions ,manipulating the charts to retreat back to an are to where it may have been holding a short and is now looking to break even while cranking up the long earnings. This is all by design. Now look at the chart again with how I just explained it, look for the break of structure, check for the close above the previous swing high close, then see where the price falls to, check to see if it is within a high of a previous swing high candle. If it breaks lower and closes lower, then we have 1 of 2 things
1) Price could have run into a Bearish Breaker (Where you have a High / Low / Higher High and the Low of that formation is a breaker that reject the price and we could see the price start to retrace lower. or
2) Also Look to see if the Break of structure that was broken has a string of balanced bullish candles to form one large Breaker. If so, the price may look like it is lower than what it should, but still within the breraker. i.e. CURRENT PRICE (see chart)
We have a large breaker if you consider the two balanced bullish candles on the far left. If the are balanced, they act as one candle (Meaning their wicks touch, there's no fair value gap) See Chart -
So I see this as still being within the Bullish vain, and we'll have to see if it's going to keep reaching for the break of structure.
Why is it going tio the break of Structure? That is where the Liquidity is sitting by the retail user and the institutions want to take that liquidity for their own pockets. Howevever, We'll Save Liquidity for Next "Smart Money Knowledge Tutorial"
If you have any questions please shoot them below. I'll do my best to answer. If it doesn't make sense to you and you see a flaw in my analysis, a flaw in my reasoning as to why it would be manipulated, please let me know.
Personally, I like having an answer as to why price does what it does, which is why I am behind the Smart Money theory of Manipulation. It makes way more sense than the previous explanation of "It just breaks trend and will continue in that direction." ..... where I feel "This is the area price was before on a short and the institutions need to break even after blowing past it making profit up to that point"
I hope I was able to break this "Smart Money" theory down a bit further and was able to help make sense of thewe things.l This was inspired by a meme I had seen on LinkedIn of the price running up pasty the break of structure and there's a trendline on top of the rear down slope and the price retests and starts moving up. The meme was based off this with a person almost in tears of joy.
My point? Don't see the price action as a result above. Understand it as this
I went to write my explanation that was a different interpretation and by the time I finished I couldn't find the Meme again. So I felt it was my calling to continue writing a major Smart Money Analysis points that many people need to see and hear.
If you enjoy these explainations of Smart Money, please let me know and I'll continue on a series of these with a point behind each one.
Thank you!

NASDAQ READY FOR LOWER LOWS?We have seen a rejection from premium of the marked range. I think Nasdaq has run out of steam and we will see lower lows. So my bias is short. A tap into the highlighted '' fair value gap'' would be good. I'm staying out of the market as end of the year tends to get messy and volume will be lacking.
GOOD LUCK!
BTC is bottom in?Hello Birdies,
People can say what they want FREEDOM OF SPEECH but technically if a resistance is flipped it need to be tested before leg up.
So price has to come down to the flipped one which were never tested in BTC case we find 3 zones which were flipped but never tested as support.
And these fair value gaps scattered through 12057 to 7313.
Don't listen to anyone wait for these prices.
$ETH - Bearish to start the week - Bullish to end *SMT*EDIT: MY BNAD FOR NOT STRETCHING OUT THE CHART OF HEAD O0F TIME, i WAS LOOKING AT ANOTHER CHART WHILE TYPING THE IDEA..... It's not pretty but I hope you get the point.
SMT= Smart Money Theory, Please See the related Tutorial regarding smart money principles.
Tripple high, possibly breaks a little higher, make people think it a break out and then it slams on the breaks and heads back down towards the two large fair value gaps and a "Missed opportunity gaP" to possibly the bullish OB (Order Block) that will probably happen around Thursday or Friday (between 1145 and 1135. Before having the weekly profile complete its task of creating wicked on both sides and creating the high and the low at the beginning and ef the week. It still has broken structurer and with two fairt value gaps belowe this only seems the most logical
Additionally we should ALWAYS Look at the commitment of traders indicator it is subject to provide such records for the CFTC. Here you can see a massive drop from longs to more net shjorts, which tells me a short is coming this way... or those p [eople that really study thjis and trade it a lot are not to bright
Heres the daily with no indicators except where the imbakances are, which is about all you need to know about ETH right meow.

I know I fluibbed bad on the last one but last week was news heavy and the fundamentals had a lot to do with it. This week, not so much, so the technical analysis should win this week.

$dYdX -Hit Top of Daily Bearish Order Block- Now Retracing *SMTSMT = See related idea on the analysis of what Smart Money Theory is.
$dYdX seems to be the only crypto worth trading at the moment. As it hit the top of the Daily bearish order block and started reversing. Wick may have went through each side on the 4 hour but two four hour candles closed inside below the median of the Daily bearish order block . This is bearish movement.
So I have two take profits. The first is within the huge 4 hour Fair Value gap below.
Entry 2.441
Take Profit 1 - 2.068 (Top of Breaker)
Take Profit 2 - 1.946 (Bottom of Breaker)
Stop loss - CLOSES ABOVE 2.538 on the1 hour I don't play the stop loss game unless I'm Not going to pay attention and what matters on a stop loss is the close not
We'll See what happens. But thats my educated guess. Usually, Smart Money teaches me right. (See related Idea Bitcoin- last short
NAS100 1h Short SellI have interest in this orderblock/Supply zone. It has a great expansion or drop away from the level and it even left behind a fair value gap. But if price continues breaking swings to the downside, I will promptly lose interest in this sell set up. The drop, whether price retraces or not, is supported by the daily time frame where it seems that price is heading for a huge fair value gap to fill.
London Open Killzone Liquidity Build and FVG Hello Traders! What I shared with you happens on most days of the week and is a super easy way to get trdaes that are highly probable..
London Open Killzone time is: from 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM New York Time.. (though it could extend a bit further)..
What we should be looking for is this scenario:
We have a clear liquidity area..(single or double lows/relative equal lows) and time is London Open Killzone and we have reached liquidity area.. on this case we expect price to reverse and we look for a confirmation (in this case a "Fair Valie Gab")..
Note that:
I recommend using 15-min chart to spot liquidity area and for looking at how price is performing..
And once we get into a liquid area, we should go lower (5-min_1-min) charts to look for FVG..
Hope you find this helpful 😃
Let me know your thoughts in comments I would be happy..
Be Well All!
$ETH Short Now to 1292 (Scalpish) *SMT* EDIT: SL ChangeSMT = See related idea about "Smart Money TA"
Price has broken buy side liquidity. Retail is expecting a breakout. And it's doing a good job of acting like it is going to continue upward Nope, It is now looking for an Imbalance. Below is a 4 HR Fair Value Gap. I'm being conservative and only reaching for the 62% retracement of the pullback. Additionally it would break the liquidity sitting at 1294.27. it could get deeper, it also may not.
I edited the SL Because Price could possibly reach up tot the 15 minute Bearish Order Blocks.
Entrance - now (1313.40)

$EURUSD = Ending the week With a Judas Swing Short *SMT**SMT* = Smart Money Theory = everything you think that is not retail related to trading. First, SMT does not believe that triangles, wedges, trendlines, channels, harmonics, etc. has any effect on how price reacts. I'm sorry, but you won't convince me that Tesla or Bitcoin knows it has created a triangle and that it knows how to react to that? It does and will remember price levels, that's it. The second is to recognize that the price is not random, it is set by an algorithm controlled by those that control the asset. The Third thing to remember is price will do 2 things 1) move toward attacking where there is Liquidity (Equal Highs, Equal Lows, phantom Trendlines, etc.) and 2) Move toward Imbalance (Fair Value Gaps, Liquidity Voids. Open Gaps) That's the basics. The rest is very unique in the vocabulary you need to have and the concepts that wrap around these ideas.*
The asian range ican be a good determining factor as to where to look as to which direction the end of the week will move toward. First I look at the NY opening price at midnight. Price should cross that point at some time during the next trading day, whether it be during london or NY session, I honestly don't know. But it should get just above the recent swing high and breaking buy side liquidity and hitting a bearish blockj and then dropping towards the sell side liquidity breaking the lsell side iquidity created last friday by the daily low. The standard deviation of the asian range is exactly at that same low from last friday. So I have two entries,.
0.51% of account - 1.7:1 ratio
Entry 1 -0.98135
Stop Loss - 0.98797
Take Profit - 0.97000 (Just above the standard deviation to be safe)
1.75% of account ~6.4:1 ratio
Now my second entry is based on the space between two bearish order blocks .
Entry 2 -0.98456
SDtop Loss - 0.98670
Take Profit 0.97000
Additionally, I ee the dollar dropping to a bullish order block and moving up to fill a liquidity void (that should happen about the same time as the take profit hits) Then My analysis has the dollar dropping below the liquidity as the dollar contiues to drop in its valuation.
I'm hoping I hit both entries and I am able to calculate this correctly that I hit both entries and hit bothj take profits. However, due to the nature of the asian sedsion, I think It's only going to hit the first entry and take profit. If I expect that, I will probably add more to my position at some point, probnably when I can the direction is reversing, (if it does)
I could be wrong and it continue upwards, breaking structure in the upper prices. Howevber, if you look at my ideas back til may, I have not lost a trade. I may have to pass on the knowledge that was given to me via private mentorship if I keep this up.
EDIT: AFTER POSTING AND LOOKING AT PRICE ACTION THERE IS A 15 MIN fvg ALREADY LOWER THAN CURRENT PRICE, IT WILL WANT TO FILL THAT IMBALANCE.
Lastly in case it doesn't get to my final take profiut, I do have 3 goals to aim for. I usually do 30% 1st target, 30% second target 35% last target, leave a 5 % trailer to see if it continues down and keep moving your stop loss each time you hit a take profit so you dont los your winnnings.
Good luck and happy trading.
