FORD
EV or ICE?Looking at some of the remarks Cathie has made lately... EVs are only 2% of $F sales. Can $F make a full switch to EV over ICE in the next 5-10 years? Results? I would think we'd see the same explosive growth $F saw in the 80s. The initial reaction to the stock price so far on the promise $F is taking EV seriously and potentially its future has me feeling great about my position i started in 2018 and will be holding for a long time.
Bullish so long as 24.27 is support. My preference: Bullish push towards 26.28.
My pivot point is: 24.47.
Alternative scenario: Below 24.47 Look for 23.76 and 23.34.
Comment:
RSI is above its neutrality area at 50.
MACD is positive and below its signal line.
Price could pull back in the short term.
Ford Motor is trading under its 20 period moving average but above its 50 period moving average.
Stay vigilant

Ford consolidating at higher levels in 22'
On top you have the 1hr chart focused on Jan 4-10
Below are the 1 day charts focused on Nov - Dec
Take notice of the range Ford is now creating.
I believe this is the same pattern we saw Nov-Dec while it consolidated between 19-21 where the market needed time to absorb the new prices levels that hadn't been seen in 20 years
Looking for this new range to form at 23-25
Lets see how this ages
$F finally making it's run.Hello Traders,
I notice the potential gap-up back at around Nov 20th, and it looks like the volume finally started coming in. I know it's not a flashy name, but if Ford can break above 21.45ish, we could see a significant additional run. About 3 more points.
Good luck.
Cheers,
Mike

After 2 months of consolidation between 19-21 Ford has recently broke out to levels not seen for 20 years. Can't find a bad article on $F right now. Although Im bullish, consider a pullback

F watching for resistanceWatching for a pullback into support and see if it holds.
Look at the monthly rsi really bullish territory if it holds up there could be quite e move coming. I would not bet against this quite yet for short because of the monthly rsi would be watching for a divergence to set up.
I would be taking profits soon. scale-out if needed you can always add back again.
3 standard deviation move usually means a high probability of revisal or sell-off. however, above 4 standard deviations, we can get an exponential move, as we see here. watch your position sizing.

Strong resistance at 21 for $F #FF has had quite the run up last year, and making big changes to their product line up. Recently there has been rejections of F once hitting about 21/share. There have been several rejections which makes me think, this needs a bit of consolidation or heavy buy volume to break 21/share.
NFA.
Ford Consolidating after a few days of stepping upNYSE:F Taking a nice stair step up to the 21 range. The smaller moves with consolidation afterwards is a healthy bullish signal to me. The market really needs to soak up volume in the 20-21 range in order to break above 21.50 and hold in the long run.
FORD has broken 10 years resistance - Long to the moonFord is breaking out from 10 years resistance. It represents a good buying opportunity at a reasonable price.
The company is focusing on EV and represents a good long-term investment.

F/TSLA Beta Hedge , Just took a small starter in this trade .I think that there is a good possibility that , with Farley at the helm at Ford , which has also recently broken out of a 20 year base and just on Friday ( Dec 10th, 2021) broke out of a smaller base too, that we will likely begin to see F outperform TSLA . I am not saying that TSLA is going to capitulate or anything like that , but I am betting that Ford is going to become a pretty notable challenger for EV dominance and give TSLA a run for its leader status in the industry .
I think that TSLA is going to have some difficulties keeping the same levels of growth up we have seen in its former years and whereas Ford is just getting started in the EV sector really and that is currently not priced in well to it's share price. So, I personally believe that the market is very inefficient in pricing Fords true value but that it eventually will correct this inefficiency .
I could be wrong but even if I am , this trade probably has a pretty low probability of loss overall .
I like the market caps vs share price of the two .
TSLA - $ 966.55 per share with a cap of 979 billion .
F - $ 20.68 per share with a cap of 89 billion .
Ford is a sleeping giant here . Also , I really like Farley too and that's a big part of why I have high hopes for Fords future .
Nothing against Musk either :) This is about making money though and I think it's a trade that has potential for profit greater than loss .
If this goes the way I am hoping I will add when it shows us some more strength in the highlighted area on the chart .
Which pattern could be more effective? At the first glance, You may find both patterns correct and justify both!
But adding ATR to the chart may reveal the hidden truth!
ATR only measures volatility and not the direction of an asset's price.
Pattern 1: Broadening Formation or Megaphone
What Is a Broadening Formation?
A broadening formation is a price chart pattern identified by technical analysts. It is characterized by increasing price volatility and diagrammed as two diverging trend lines, one rising and one falling. It usually occurs after a significant rise, or fall, in the action of security prices. It is identified on a chart by a series of higher pivot highs and lower pivot lows.
Pattern 2: Corrction/consolidation
In this situation, we expect lower changes in ATR readings!

Is Ford (F) going for another run for ATH?The Friday's candle broke the channel was a very bullish one with a high volume. The TTM Squeeze is also about to get out of the squeeze which will trigger another high. (I used the "real licensed" TTM Squeeze in another platform) Ford has a chance to run $27.
