Is a rate cut imminent? Watching incoming UK Inflation data Is a rate cut imminent? Watching incoming UK Inflation data
"The next move will be a cut," Bank of England's Andrew Bailey stated in response to a question about the Governors thoughts on interest rates during a speech at the London School of Economics. This does not mean the next decision will immediately be a cut; rather, rates will remain stable until a cut is implemented, effectively ruling out any rate hikes for now. This is an important distinction. The timing for cutting interest rates remains uncertain though. In the last decision, only two of the Committee's nine members voted for a rate cut.
Helping decide when the cut will come will be the revelation of the UK latest inflation data, due very soon. UK inflation could be approaching a huge milestone, with some predicting that a sharp drop in the April figures will bring the headline rate below the Bank of England’s 2% target. This would be a significant decrease from the current rate of 3.2% and could determine whether a June interest rate cut is warranted, according to economists.
On the GBP/USD chart, the previously dominant peak of April has been surpassed by pound bulls. The next challenge is to surpass late March’s surge to 1.2800. If achieved, the next resistance level could be the year-to-date high of 1.2893. However, recent consolidation may indicate a decline in bullish momentum.

British Pound can reach seller zone and then start to declineHello traders, I want share with you my opinion about British Pound. By observing the chart, we can see that the price a not long time ago started to trades inside a downward wedge, where it rebounded from the support line and rose to the resistance line, coinciding with the resistance level with the seller zone. After this move, GBP turned around and in a short time declined to the buyer zone, breaking the support level and soon declined more and reached the support line of the wedge. Then price rebounded from this line and soon exited from the wedge, after which continued to move up inside the upward channel, where GBP soon broke the 1.2450 support level also. After this, the price rose to the resistance line of the channel and then corrected to the support line, after which rebounded and in a short time rose to the resistance level. At the moment, GBP continues to trades near this level and I think that the British Pound can reach the seller zone and then start to decline to support line of upward channel. For this reason, I set my target at 1.2575 points. Please share this idea with your friends and click Boost 🚀

GBPUSD - Short Trade Idea, Analysis, and ICT EducationHi friends,
I hope everyone is doing well.
In this video I share my analysis and bias with GBPUSD, I show you how I come up with this analysis, and I advocate additional confluences in your analysis as well as demonstrate what I mean. But please note, I am using ICT Concepts. If you aren't familiar, then it wouldn't make sense to you. However, you will probably have your mind blown anyway. No other concepts allow you to predict price action with accuracy before patterns form.
As you know, I've been expecting a stronger USD and Weaker XXXUSD pairs. We have quite a few confluences going on which give me faith in this bias and narrative. You'll have to listen to me ramble in order to find out the sauces that I use for my bearish dish. Apologies to the lazy folks ;)
I implore you to go into your own charts and study the same thing. If not, you'll be cheating yourselves.

GBPUSD H4 - Short SignalGBPUSD H4
Similar outlook to XAUUSD, we have already shown a response to our indicated sell zone, albeit, just at the wrong time. GBPUSD pinned into our 1.26 confluence zone following the cluster of data we saw on Friday.
If this zone sees another test of 1.26, this could be something we look to short, in line with USD strength.
Beginning of a reversal...been waiting for GU to turn back bearish. Now it looks like its ready to start making that turn. At this point just waiting for further confirmation going into London session. If we can manage to break above 1.258 before London open then I will expect for price to make a new high for the week. if we maintain below that zone until after London session then I will look for a test and reject at that level.
GBPUSD is approaching a significant resistance area.Hey Traders, in today's trading session we are monitoring GBPUSD for a selling opportunity around 1.25900 zone, GBPUSD is trading in a downtrend and currently is in a correction phase in which it is approaching the trend at 1.25900 support and resistance zone.

GBPUSD Long Opportunity After Level Breakouts:Based on current news and pending level breakouts, it's essential to recognize the evident levels on both the 1-hour and 15-minute charts. Additionally, the daily chart indicates a significant level. Therefore, it's advisable not to initiate a long position until the levels on the 15-minute and 1-hour charts are breached. Also, it's prudent to wait for the outcomes of the upcoming news releases concerning the USA, including the unemployment rate and ISM service PMI.
HelenP. I British Pound can start to grow inside upward channelHi folks today I'm prepared for you British Pound analytics. If we look at the chart, we can see how the price a not long time ago declined to the support level, which is located inside the support zone, and in a short time later broke this level. After this, GBP continued to decline to the trend line, and when the price reached this line it turned around and started to rise inside the upward channel. Inside the channel, GBP broke the 1.2400 level again and later reached the channel's resistance line, after which rebounded and made a little correction. Then the price rose to the resistance level, which coincided with the resistance zone, and even entered to this area, but soon turned around and fell to the trend line, which is the support line of the channel also. Recently price rebounded from this line and rose to the 1.2545 level, but at once rebounded and started to decline. For my mind, British Pound will fall to the support line of the channel and then start to grow to a resistance level. When GBP reaches this level, the price can break it, make retest, and continue to move up, therefore I set my target at 1.2615 points. If you like my analytics you may support me with your like/comment ❤️
GBPUSD - Following The Trend 📉Hello TradingView Family / Fellow Traders. This is Richard, also known as theSignalyst.
📈 GBPUSD has been overall bearish , trading within the falling channel in red.
Currently, GBPUSD is approaching the upper bound of the channel acting as a non-horizontal resistance.
Moreover, it is retesting a supply zone marked in green.
🏹 Thus, the highlighted red circle is a strong area to look for sell setups as it is the intersection of the upper red trendline and green supply zone.
📚 As per my trading style:
As #GBPUSD approaches the red circle zone, I will be looking for bearish reversal setups (like a double top pattern, trendline break , and so on...)
📚 Always follow your trading plan regarding entry, risk management, and trade management.
Good luck!
