Strifor || GBPUSD-Week StartingPreferred direction: BUY
Comment: The British currency showed resistance against the US dollar last week, but short-term weakening is not excluded (scenario №2) . Medium-term prospects remain in favor of the buyer, and an approach to the level of 1.28000 is still expected.
Scenario №1 is a higher priority, but a potential short-term weakening and fall towards the level of 1.25500 is not excluded. The week will contain a huge amount of published economic data, especially from the USA . Against this background, volatility and big movements can be expected. And despite the potential short-term weakening, the buy-priority still remains in the medium term.

BUY TRADE SETUP ON GBPJPYHey Traders,
Check out this technical analysis on GBPJPY; it appears to be undergoing a small pullback, potentially indicating a bullish momentum continuation.
However, I would recommend waiting for a proper retest of the broken key level before considering a buy-trade entry.
Alternatively, there may be an opportunity for a sell trade if the market breaches the evident support area.
Keep a close eye on this.

GBP/JPY Holds Steady Amid Easter Break, Eyes Bearish ContinuatioAs the financial markets took a pause for the Easter holiday, the GBP/JPY pair maintained stability around the 191.00 level on Friday, showing minimal movement. Meanwhile, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell made statements emphasizing the adaptability of monetary policy to various economic scenarios.
Technically, the price experienced a reversal near 193.500, as anticipated in our previous analysis, leading to a decline of nearly 200 points. Currently, the pair is consolidating within a range, forming a triangle pattern that appeals to enthusiasts of technical analysis.
Our analysis indicates a bearish continuation for the GBP/JPY pair, considering its correlation with the GBP/USD, which is currently in a bearish trend on the H4 and lower timeframes.
For further details, you can refer to our previous analysis of GBP/JPY by following the provided link.

Sentiment: Overbought (based on 7-period RSI)

Overbought refers to market scenarios where the instrument is traded considerably higher than its fair value. Overvaluation is caused by market sentiments when there is positive news.

🔥 #USDJPY - BIG Fall Ahead ? (READ THE CAPTION)By checking the USDJPY chart in the 12-hour time frame, we can see that the price penetrated above the 151.920 level in the past few days to collect liquidity, and then it was accompanied by a price correction! On the chart, we see the creation of a large LV, which I expect to be filled in the medium term! By stabilizing the price below 151.500, we can more confidently enter the SELL position! All important levels are marked on the chart! The overall efficiency of the previous analysis was about 450 pips for SELL and about 550 pips for BUY. It all happened in one month! I hope you have made the most of it!

GBPJPY Breakout and Potential retraceHey Traders, in today's trading session we are monitoring GBPJPY for a selling opportunity around 191.500 zone, GBPJPY was trading in an uptrend and successfully managed to break it out. Strifor || GBPUSD-Week StartingPreferred direction: BUY
Comment: The British currency is also on the bullish list, after the significant strengthening of the US dollar over the past week. Such a strong drop was caused by an attempt by market buyers to buy off the bottom of the market, and in turn, a limit seller was actively working on the market, pushing the price down and liquidating buyers.
The chart presents two main scenarios. Growth prospects in both cases are located at the level of 1.28000 and scenario №1 is more likely. Scenario №2 will be a very aggressive maneuver from the seller’s point of view, but we cannot exclude it either, and we will confidently continue to increase purchases towards the specified goal. We pay attention to risk and money management when planning this kind of mid-term trades (no entry “for full deposit” and be sure to calculate the total risk for all positions from the very beginning before the trade).

GBPJPY FRESH SUPPLY ZONE READ DESCRIPTIONThe GBPJPY pair is currently positioned within a supply zone on the 15-minute time frame, indicating a potential area of selling pressure. Additionally, a new fresh bearish divergence has been identified, suggesting the possibility of a trend reversal to the downside. Examining the trading sentiments from the last two days on the 15-minute time frame, there were 70 sell signals, 18 neutral signals, and 22 buy signals. This data indicates a predominance of selling pressure in the short term.
Looking at client sentiments from the past month, which indicate how traders are positioned in the market, 66% of clients have taken sell positions, 20% have taken buy positions, and 14% have remained neutral. This overwhelmingly bearish sentiment among clients suggests a consensus view that the GBPJPY pair may decline further.
Now, delving into the technical aspects, several indicators point towards a bearish outlook for the GBPJPY pair. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator is signaling a sell, indicating potential downward momentum. The Commodity Channel Index (CCI) is at -89, reflecting strong bearish momentum in the market. The Average Directional Index (ADX) at 22.54 suggests a developing trend, potentially indicating the strength of a downward move.
Both the Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and Simple Moving Average (SMA) from the shorter 10-day to the longer 200-day periods are indicating a sell signal, further confirming the bearish bias. The Hull Moving Average (HMA), Volume Weighted Moving Average (VWMA), and Ichimoku Cloud (Ichikumo) are all indicating sell signals as well, reinforcing the overall bearish sentiment.
In summary, the technical analysis, combined with trading sentiments and client positioning, suggests a bearish outlook for the GBPJPY pair.
