THE KOG REPORT THE KOG REPORT:
In last week’s KOG Report we said we would be looking for price to tap into the lower red box region, give the long trade up into the red box resistance which was active and then give us the opportunity to short the market sticking to our bias and our bias target levels. Although we missed the precise entry by 30pips from the highs, we managed to get in and complete not only the bias target levels, KOG’s bias of the day target levels, Excalibur target algo levels and LiTE EA targets hitting 100% on those for the week.
A fantastic week on markets on just on Gold but on the other pairs we trade and analyse as well. Well done to our traders and team.
So, what can we expect in the week ahead?
After the move we witnessed last week we would expect there to be some retracement on the horizon, however, it all depends on this lower level of 2850-47 holding price up in the early sessions. If we do see a clean set up here an opportunity to take that potential long into the level above 2865-70 should be available. It these level above that are concerning, they need to break above for us to confirm this as a short term low, however, unless broken 2875-80 and above that 2895-2900 should be decent target levels for the longs and also pivotal points to watch for reversal to continue the move downside.
On the flip, we do have a level below sitting at 2805-10, which is also a bearish below level. If we continue this move downside from the opening, we’ll look to continue with the move downside on the daily red boxes and then look for an opportunity to take a swing long from lower down.
Key levels this week:
Resistance – 2890 / 2904
Support – 2850 / 2830 / 2810
Potential range – 2810 – 2880
KOG’s bias for the week:
Bullish above 2847 with targets above 2865, 2871, 2876, 2880 and above that 2904
Bearish below 2847 with targets below 2840, 2835, 2830 and below that 2810
RED BOXES:
Break above 2860 for 2865, 2872, 2874, 2885 and 2900 in extension of the move
Break below 2847 for 2840, 2836, 2831, 2823 and 2810 in extension of the move

GOLD 1H CHART ROUTE MAP & TRADING PLAN FOR THE WEEKHey Everyone,
Please see our updated 1h chart levels and targets for the coming week.
We are seeing price play between two weighted levels with a gap above at 2872 and a gap below at 2846. We will need to see ema5 cross and lock on either weighted level to determine the next range.
We will see levels tested side by side until one of the weighted levels break and lock to confirm direction for the next range.
We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up.
We will continue to buy dips using our support levels taking 30 to 40 pips. As stated before each of our level structures give 20 to 40 pip bounces, which is enough for a nice entry and exit. If you back test the levels we shared every week for the past 24 months, you can see how effectively they were used to trade with or against short/mid term swings and trends.

GOLD DAILY CHART MID/LONG TERM UPDATEHey Everyone,
This is an update on our daily chart idea that we are now tracking and playing out perfectly, as analysed.
After completing our Bullish targets we stated that the channel top will act as resistance confirmed with ema5 rejection. A break of the channel top with ema5 would confirm a continuation and failure would confirm rejection. This allowed us to identify true breakouts against fake outs.
We also stated that we need to keep in mind the channel half line below to establish floor to provide support for the range, should we continue to track further up. A break below the half line will open the lower part of the channel to establish floor on the channel bottom. The safest way to track this movement is by buying dips.
- Once again this played out perfectly as we got the rejection on the channel top followed with the channel half line test, which gave the perfect bounce like we stated. We will now either look for a continuation from this bounce or a cross and lock below the half line for a break into the lower channel floor.
This is the beauty of our Goldturn channels, which we draw in our unique way, using averages rather than price. This enables us to identify fake-outs and breakouts clearly, as minimal noise in the way our channels are drawn.
We will use our smaller timeframe analysis on the 1H and 4H chart to buy dips from the weighted Goldturns for 30 to 40 pips clean. Ranging markets are perfectly suited for this type of trading, instead of trying to hold longer positions and getting chopped up in the swings up and down in the range.
We will keep the above in mind when taking buys from dips. Our updated levels and weighted levels will allow us to track the movement down and then catch bounces up using our smaller timeframe ideas.
Our long term bias is Bullish and therefore we look forward to drops like this from rejections, which allows us to continue to use our smaller timeframes to buy dips using our levels and setups.
Buying dips allows us to safely manage any swings rather then chasing the bull from the top.
Thank you all for your likes, comments and follows, we really appreciate it!

GOLD WEEKLY CHART MID/LONG TERM ROUTE MAPHey Everyone,
Please see update on the weekly chart idea we have been tracking for over a month now and still playing out, as analysed.
On our last update after completing 2856 target, we were left with body close above 2856 leaving a gap to 2976. We stated that will need ema5 lock to further confirm this and ema5 was still yet to lock but we still got a nice push up over 700 pips.
- This is still yet to lock with ema5 and this weeks weekly candle is crucial to either see a push up form here for the lock or a rejection here with ema5 for another push down and possibly use the channel top for an ascending movement up slowly over a longer term into our long trend gaps. Once again we prove the safest way to chase this Bull in this range is from dips.
This is the beauty of our channels, which we draw in our unique way, using averages rather than price. This enables us to identify fake-outs and breakouts clearly, as minimal noise in the way our channels are drawn.

If the rebound does not exceed 2660, continue to short goldBrothers, I have been emphasizing yesterday and the day before yesterday that gold will definitely retreat to the 2840-2830 area. At present, the lowest price of gold has reached around 2832, hitting my expected target area as expected. And I emphasized in the previous article that gold has a certain support near 2830. We can play long gold near 2830. We only held the position for half an hour, and we made 100 pips in the short-term gold long transaction. I feel very satisfied with this. Of course, you can also refer to my previous update, which is well documented!
Gold is currently rebounding after hitting 2830, but as long as gold rebounds not beyond the 2860-2870 area, gold will continue to fall next week. In fact, according to the starting point of the previous round of rise, it rose from 2586 to 2956 and then began to retreat. Its 50% retracement level is near 2775. The 61.8% retracement level is near 2815. If gold continues to fall next week, it is very likely to test the 2815 area, or even lower to the 2800 mark.
So next we will focus on the strength of gold's rebound. If the gold rebound does not exceed 2860-2870, we will still focus on shorting gold in the next transaction.Bros, profits are the ultimate goal in trading. GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Great finish to the week with our level to level cross and lock confirmations allowing us to buy dips on the weighted level bounces.
We like to always stay with long term trend and therefore our levels allow us to trade against the short term trend change.
Start of the week we completed Bullish target 2950 and then confirmed the rejection with no lock opening all our bearish targets.
Yesterday we stated that Ema5 cross and lock below 2903 opened the swing range and we got the swing range hit at 2884 and stated that we still had room for the full swing range test at 2861.
- This was hit perfectly followed with a further cross and lock opening the secondary swing range, which is now also hit with room left for the full test. As you can see, the beauty of our system with every weighted swing range level providing the 30 to 40 pip bounce like we stated.
We will now come back Sunday with our updated Multi time-frame analysis, Gold route map and trading plans for the week ahead and also a new Daily chart long term chart idea, now that this one is complete.
Have a smashing weekend!! And once again, thank you all for your likes, comments and follows, we really appreciate it!

The bears haven’t gone away, continuing to short gold!Bros, I want to say that 2868 is definitely not the lowest point at the current stage, and the bears have not stopped roaring. After gold falls below 2970, market panic will lead to deep selling, which will drive gold prices further down.
So the bears have not left yet, and any rebound is an opportunity to short gold. As the center of gravity of gold prices moves down, the current resistance has moved down to the 2895-2905 zone again. If gold remains below this area, I think gold is likely to move towards the 2840-2830 zone next!

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Once again our chart idea is playing out with our ema5 lock confirmation level to level.
After competing Bullish n target 2950 earlier this week we confirmed the rejection with no lock opening all our bearish targets. After competing 2927 and 2903 bearish target we confirmed that if we see a ema5 cross and lock below 2903 the swing range will open, failure to lock below 2903 will confirm the bounce.
- Yesterday No lock below 2903 confirmed the rejection and gave the bounce like we stated and today we got the mea5 lock below 2903 opening the swing range.
- JUST PERFECT LEVEL TO LEVEL ACTION!!
We still have room for the full swing range test and will use ema5 lock on each weighted level to confirm the next range. We are also seeing each of our weighted level giving the clean 30 to 40 pip bounces as analysed.
Continue to short gold after the reboundAfter sideways consolidation, gold chose to move downward again, and the current situation and direction are very clear. 2956 has basically been confirmed as the current stage high, so in the New York trading session, we only need to find the right time and point to short gold.
However, although the decline of gold just now was strong, it still seemed a little hesitant when facing the low point last night. There is still a certain support in the intraday, and the gold price will more or less rebound. The resistance area above is the 2915-2925 zone, so I will short gold with the resistance of this area, and gold will definitely touch the 2880-2870 zone or even lower during this round of decline.

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Please see update on our 1h chart route map still playing out, as analysed
After competing our Bullish target earlier this week followed with the Bearish target, we stated yesterday that no ema5 cross and lock above 2950 confirmed the rejection above and into our bearish target 2927, and if we see a ema5 cross and lock below 2927 then the swing range will open, failure to lock below 2927 will confirm the bounce.
- No lock below 2927 confirmed the rejection at support for the weighted level bounce, as analysed and therefore no swing range.
Continue to short gold after the reboundGold's decline yesterday found support around the 2888 level before staging a rebound, and it has now recovered to the 2925 area. Although the bulls have begun their counterattack, their momentum appears significantly weaker compared to previous recoveries, indicating a growing lack of confidence among bullish participants.
Yesterday’s downward breakout from a period of sideways consolidation pushed gold through multiple key support levels and decisively breached the 2900 mark. This demonstrated strengthening bearish momentum, driven by profit-taking from earlier positions and an influx of panic-driven selling. Despite the current rebound, it’s likely just a technical correction following the sharp drop, providing more opportunities to short gold.
As gold’s price action shifts lower, the 2925-2935 zone now stands out as a prominent short-term resistance area. For short-term trades, we can use this zone as a key level to initiate fresh short positions. Gold is likely to retest the 2890 support area, and a decisive break below this level could open the path for further declines toward the 2870-2860 region.
Bros, profits are the ultimate goal in trading. Accumulating profits is what changes lives and destinies. Choosing wisely is far more important than just working hard. If you want to replicate trade signals and earn stable profits, or if you want to deeply learn the correct trading logic and techniques, you can consider joining the channel at the bottom of this article!
Any rebound is an opportunity to short goldAs I mentioned in my previous article, after a period of sideways consolidation, gold chose to break downward—signaling greater downside potential. We perfectly captured the shorting opportunity around the 2935-2945 resistance zone. Gold not only successfully hit the 2910-2900 target area but even exceeded my expectations, with the price bottoming out around the 2888 region. This was an excellent short trade, and I personally gained over $10K in profits from this position.
Currently, gold is hovering around the 2890-2888 region, and while the downtrend has momentarily slowed, the bulls have yet to mount any effective counterattack. This indicates weakening bullish sentiment, and with earlier profits being cashed out alongside follow-up and panic-driven selling, the bearish trend is likely far from over. Breaking below the 2890 support further opens the door for continued downward movement, increasing gold’s potential for deeper declines.
For short-term trades, any rebound in gold’s price could present fresh opportunities for short positions. We should closely monitor the 2910-2920 area for potential entries to short gold once again.Bros, profits are the ultimate goal in trading. Accumulating profits is what changes lives and destinies. Choosing wisely is far more important than just working hard. GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Once again our route map is providing perfect level to level guidance for us on this chart idea.
Yesterday we stated that we got our first bullish target at 2950 and that we will need to see ema5 cross and lock above 2950 to open the range above or failure to lock above will see price reject for a test on the lower Goldturn at 2927 to complete the bearish gap.
- This played out perfectly with no ema5 cross and lock above 2950 confirming the rejection and into our bearish target 2927 just like we said. We were able to capitalise on the bounces inline with our plans to buy dips on all the weighted levels. We are now seeing price in the retracement range will need to see a lock below this level for a continuation into the swing range or failure to lock will see another push up.

Short gold after reboundWe were fortunate to have closed our long positions around the 2942 level, securing our profits in a timely manner. Although my initial plan was to start shorting gold on Thursday and Friday, the market unexpectedly began its decline earlier than anticipated, and I was unable to open short positions immediately. Given that gold’s downturn started ahead of schedule in this cycle, there is still room for price fluctuations. Therefore, we should avoid rushing into short positions, as gold may still see a short-term rebound to the 2930-2940 region.
Gold has repeatedly faced resistance around the 2950-2955 zone and, following a period of sideways consolidation, finally broke downward—breaching the 2930-2925 support area. This suggests that there is still more downside potential, and the move could trigger panic selling. Consequently, I will be shifting my strategy to prioritize short positions after price rebounds.
For upcoming short-term trades, we can consider initiating short positions in the 2935-2945 zone. Should gold resume its downward trajectory, it is likely to test the 2910-2900 support region.Bros, profits are the ultimate goal in trading. Accumulating profits is what changes lives and destinies. Go long on gold in the 2930 area and make continuous profits!Dear Traders,
In the past couple of days, gold has been volatile, swinging up and down. Have you made profits in your gold trades? Regardless, the fluctuations in gold were within my control, and I was able to secure considerable profits from my long gold positions.
As I shared in my previous two articles, in short-term trading, we should avoid hastily chasing rallies in gold. However, once gold retraces to the 2940-2930 support region, we can actively consider going long. Yesterday, after gold retraced to around 2930, it reversed and rebounded, rising to approximately 2953. Today, after touching 2929, gold reversed again and is currently climbing back to around 2942. We've secured substantial profits from two consecutive long trades in gold.

GOLD ROUTE MAP UPDATEHey Everyone,
Great start to the week with our chart idea playing out, as analysed.
We started with our first bullish target at 2950 complete. We will now need to see ema5 cross and lock above 20=950 to open the range above. Failure to lock above will see price reject for a test on the lower Goldturn at 2927 to complete the bearish gap.
We will see levels tested side by side until we see either weighted level break and lock to confirm direction for the next range.

Gold is expected to continue to reach new highs of 2970-2980Dear Traders,
Although gold has slightly retreated after touching around 2948, it is still holding above the 2935-2930 region, maintaining a strong bullish trend.
Based on the current gold structure, gold has repeatedly failed to break the 2920-2925 support zone during its pullback, and has not formed a sustained downtrend. On one hand, this reflects strong buying support at lower levels; on the other hand, the pullback space is limited. Therefore, before any trend reversal, gold is likely to have another rally to test new highs. I expect that if gold manages to hold above the 2950-2955 region in this rally, it will likely attempt to reach the 2970-2980 zone.
So, for short-term trading, leading into Thursday and Friday, we should primarily focus on going long on gold, with key support around the 2940-2930 region. If gold reaches the 2970-2980 region, we can then consider shorting it.

THE KOG REPORTTHE KOG REPORT:
In last week’s KOG Report we said we wanted to see price dip into the lower support and give us the opportunity to long into the higher levels targeting the red box targets and the bias levels given. We manged to get this trade and started the week well! We then suggested traders play caution as the set up just wasn’t presenting itself for the short, instead, we updated our plans and published the long idea again which played out well giving us a decent end to the week. The ranging gave us conflicting signals and choppy price action towards the end of the week, so not 100% to plan, but we played it and adapted.
We managed another stellar performance on Excalibur, 6 targets on Gold and another trunk full on the other pairs we trade and analyse in Camelot. Difficult, but consistent nevertheless.
So, what can we expect in the week ahead?
Ideally we would like to wait for the market to open and break out of the range before picking the direction. We have lower support at 2930 and the extension level 2918-14 which needs to be watched for the break in the early part of the week, while the key level above 2950-55 with extension into the 2960 region should act as a barrier which will need to break.
We’ll start by saying if the price does support that 2930-25 level on the open, then the opportunity to long into the 2943 and above that 2950 levels should be available to those looking to go long. We have marked a RIP point 2960-65 but that will only give us the flip so scalps into the lower support region are potentially all we will get.
Above that we have marked our area of interest, this is ideally where we want to be monitoring the price action and looking for signs of a potential reversal, which, if given should give us a nice swing short into the lower levels which will be published on morning reviews and KOG’s bias of the day.
On the flip, If we glitch and make a move downside on the open, look out for the levels of 2920-16 and below that 2910! These region need to hold us up to go higher in order to clear the liquidity from above before another attempt at lower.
It’s the last week of the month, it’s going to be choppy and ranges will form. Indications of lower pricing are on the horizon, the set up just isn’t clear at the moment so play it level to level, keep an eye on the red boxes, look back at the KOG reports and see for yourself how well they play with price. Take it easy, “if it’s exciting, you’re doing it wrong”. We’ll update as through the week as we usually do with the red box targets, KOG’s bias of the day and the indicator levels.
KOG’s bias of the week:
Bullish above 2920 with targets above 2945, 2949. 2952 2955 and above that 2970
Bearish below 2920 with targets below 2916, 2910, 2906, and below that 2898
RED BOX TARGETS:
Break above 2943 for 2947, 2950, 2955, 2962, 2966 and 2977 in extension of the move
Break below 2930 for 2923, 2920, 2910, 2906 and 2899 in extension of the move

XAU/USD 24 January 2025 Intraday AnalysisH4 Analysis:
-> Swing: Bullish.
-> Internal: Bullish.
Analysis and bias remains the same as analysis dated 21 February 2025.
Price printed as per yesterday's analysis and bias.
Price has printed a bearish CHocH indicating, but not confirming bearish pullback phase initiation.
Price is now trading within an established internal range.
Intraday Expectation:
Price to trade down to either discount of 50% internal EQ, or H4 demand zone before targeting weak internal high, priced at 2,954.955
Alternative scenario:
Given HTF (Daily and Weekly) have also printed bullish iBOS' it would not come as a surprise if price printed a bearish iBOS.
Note:
With the Federal Reserve's dovish stance and persisting geopolitical uncertainties, heightened volatility in Gold is expected to continue. Traders should proceed with caution and adjust risk management strategies in this high-volatility environment.
Price could also be driven by President Trump's policies, geopolitical moves and economic decisions which are sparking uncertainty.

M15 Analysis:
-> Swing: Bullish.
-> Internal: Bullish.
Analysis and bias remains the same as analysis dated 21 February 2025.
Price printed as per analysis and bias dated 20 February 2025.
Price is now trading within an established internal range.
You will note my comments in yesterday's analysis whereby I mentioned that as we await for H4 TF to confirm bearish pullback phase initiation, it would be a realistic expectation for price to print a bearish iBOS.
This scenario seems underway, price has targeted strong internal low, however, price has, thus far, not been able to close below.
Intraday Expectation:
Technically price should target weak internal high priced at 2,954.955, however, my alternative scenario remains live.
Alternative scenario:
As we await for H4 TF to confirm bearish pullback phase initiation, it would be a realistic expectation for price to print a bearish iBOS.
Note:
With the Federal Reserve maintaining a dovish stance and ongoing geopolitical tensions, volatility in Gold prices is expected to remain elevated. Traders should exercise caution, adjust risk management strategies, and stay prepared for potential price whipsaws in this high-volatility environment.
