BTC - IS THIS BOTTOM ?!Alright so, the question that everyone have been wondering, is this the bottom ?! Well I wish I knew, but it does look good to me, let's take a look.
On D1 chart as you can see, we can't break the 6k-6.1k support range and we keep making higher lows following the trend. Talking about trend, we are close to breaking 2 old upper trend, the grey one is from the 11k high from march 5th and the white one from july 24th 8.4k high.
Another thing that I see is the same pattern formation on a lot of coin at the moment. An ascending triangle. You can see volume dropping which is a confirmation. If we do break both upper trend get mentally ready.
Now for the H1 chart, we just tested SFP again and made a new high at 6300. Was that a Stop Loss hunt ? Hmm, interesting. The move looks bullish to me, you can see that .236 old as support atm and .382 fib as resistance. A retracement between .618 and .786 looks like a decent place to go from now on.
Let's take a look at M15, this look really bullish, we just broke last SFP high at 6205, make a new one at 6300 still making green candle, I expect a retest of SFP high soon, let's wait.
CADJPY Bigger Picture View Down To H1 Time Frame - Good Setup!Weekly (pink): We are currently in wave 4 of the weekly structure. I expect wave 4 to complete to the top of the structure before we will see whether there will be a break of the structure to the upside on this wave or whether there will be a 5th wave to the downside first.
Daily (blue): We are in wave 3 of the daily structure. Interestingly the target for wave 3 is at the same point as wave 4 of the weekly structure. This indicates a strong possibility that the price will move to that target.
H4 (green): The structure that has formed on the H4 time frame doesn't completely tie in with the bigger picture view as it has a bearish formation. I expect that there may be an extension in wave 5 which will complete the larger structure views.
H1 (red): I am sitting on my hands at the moment and waiting for the H1 corrective structure to unfold. As things stand now, I am expecting to see a 5 wave structure formation which would complete at the bottom of the green H4 structure. I will be looking for the long entry from that point.

Ideal trades series; G/J D1 SR break + close (2/2)Here's the setup on the H1.
Apply this to any time frame. If you're using important levels and trading at the right times, most healthy breakouts involve some version of this shape. Strong, confirmed breakout with a clear close past the level, a weak but steady pullback to the level, and then an immediate fail at support-turned-resistance.
D1 bias, H1 setup, short term executionI'll post my Ninjatrader charts for trade entries. This is the kind of setup I want to wait for vs fighting the grind on NQ today.
I'm a momentum trader, and momentum comes from traps and/or tipping points. I don't want price to ever come back to my entry and I don't believe in wide stops.
Before taking entries, ask yourself about the market state. Is it grinding? If so, you're going to get killed with constant retests of your entries, general noise etc. What's the point getting into a position you think is going to be retested (I'm speaking as a daytrader, not a swing trader...).
If you're getting stuck overtrading, ask yourself this:
Do I really expect this trade to move to my target?
If there's a preceding trap AND contraction AND empty space ahead of you...that's where the money's made.
