$SQ - Swing Trade to $100?Square has potential for profitable swing trade as we are in a upwards channel. As we saw last week, price held well against the SPX500 during its correction. We now see that the candle bounced off Span A of the 1 week cloud (shown above): keeping the upwards channel valid. Price is also currently sitting above the 26 average line (red line). This shows us that price wants to move higher before lower.
What to watch (1 week time frame):
- Watch if candle holds above 26 day avg line for entry.
- If price falls under 26 avg line, look for bounce of span A.
- Take profit $100+!
Trade at your own risk.
$TSLA Swing Trade to 350+Tesla is not everyones favourite stock due their questionable "profits". But play it right, we can make good money! In my opinion, its too risky of a trade if we don't enter at the main support. We can't control the direction of the stock but we can definitely reduce our loss.
What to watch:
- Watch for a bounce around the 250~ support.
- Watch for a reversal candle in the 4 hr and 1 day before entry.
-Tight stop loss if breaks through!
Trade at your risk.
ACB: More opportunity to add - Swing TradeLast week I mentioned the valid upwards channel in ACB. We saw that ACB bounced off the channel as expected but unfortunately could not break the top of the channel. This week we may see another buy opportunity similar to the last.
What to watch:
- Only enter if candle does not break the 4 hr upwards channel.
- Watch in the lower time frame, 30 mins - 1 hour for confirmation (at least 2 few candles) before entry.
- Be patient for all time high take profit! we will get there soon.
Trade at your own risk.
SPX BOUNCE? No crash, yet.I believe we're not at the crash everyone is forecasting. We still have one big event that can lift investors sentiment, the US and China deal. Once we get finalization of the deal, this will create a brief rally to the top. After we get that out of the way, we will fall, fall, fall!
What to watch:
- 3 area of a bounce can occur: 2700 (span B), 2650~(9 Day avg line), 2600~ (26 day avg line)
- Ichimoku (1 week chart) show bullish signs for the short term.
- Watch Tech stocks for a buy (Christmas 2018 flashback?)
- In the coming weeks or month, bearish cloud shows bears will then take control.
I would love to hear your input!

Part I:The Story of Ichimoku – What a Man in the Mountain SeesThis is a side project from my normal analysis that I will add on a monthly basis. The Ichimoku trading system was developed in Japan in the 1930's. My character Ichi is following a story line using the Ichimoku Cloud indicator. This is obviously more for entertainment and a story that I will build upon over the weeks and months to come as Bitcoin changes in price. I will be switching to evolve the story from the 4hr to weekly chart timeframes. We will be using different aspects of the trading indicator to tell this story of Ichi and a different way for you to learn. The story will get more elaborate, detailed and mystical. It all depends what paths Ichi decides to take on his journey to find his way home. I will highlight the words when using an actual name of the indicator so you can then google and learn more about it yourself. Remember there are 5 indicators to the Ichimoku trading system. Part I here is just an introductory to the story line and things will evolve much more into an entertaining read.
Part I: The Story of Ichimoku Sanjin – “What a Man in the Mountain Sees”
Ichi was born in Tokyo city. His father, Satoshi, the son of a fisherman, was a gold miner who started life from a very humble beginning. Over the years and after much sacrifice he eventually owned his own mining operation. His mother, Sumiko, who was a nurse at the local hospital was loved in her community. However, Ichi, never had a chance to meet her. His mother passed away shortly after he was born.
He would remember hearing his father cry in the middle of night. His father felt the guilt for not having time to raise his son over the years and also missed his wife Sumiko. Before Ichi was born, Satoshi and Sumiko dreamed of living a life in the mountains and away from the centralized city. They dreamed of living in fresh air, drinking mountain water and growing their own food. They both yearned for privacy and a simple way of life. Now after many decades and sacrifice to ensure his son Ichi would be financially well Satoshi was nearing the end of his. The night Satoshi would say goodbye to his son he made sure to pass one final request. His father asked Ichi to head towards the Three Holy Mountains and spread their ashes where he and his wife would rest forever. Before Satoshi took his final breath Ichi promised his father he would honor his request.
The path to the Three Holy Mountains would not be easy. There were no roads, trains or any kind of transportation. Many told Ichi that he would end up dying on this trip. He was not trained to survive in the wild and a climb to 20,000-feet. Everyone doubted his journey and in fact they wrote his obituary many times in the local paper to try and convince him to not take this trip. Because of his father's success and Ichi being the only son and last remaining heir many at the company questioned who would take over in the event of his passing.
He remembered hearing stories growing up how his father and grandfather would fish along the banks of the Tenkansen River. The fish were plentiful and healthy. The water so clear you could see through to the bottom. The river was fed from the snowmelt from the Three Holy Mountains. However, the Tenkansen river itself was quite dangerous with many volatile sections. Although it was the quickest path to the mountains Ichi knew there would be sections when he could not be on his raft safely. Ichi would need to get off and walk along the Kijunsen trail at times.
After many months since his father’s passing and training/preparation Ichi set off for the adventure of a lifetime. He left Tokyo city in what was supposed to be a summer long adventure. However, destiny had a different path awaiting him.
He entered the Entrance of the Tenkansen as scheduled. Clear and beautiful skies. The river was calm that day and he felt confident this short journey to the base of the mountain would be easy. The Sacred Groves of Japan surround the mouth of the Tenkansen . As Ichi boarded his raft and began drifting along the river he was immediately transported to another world. A world that harkens back to another time. The air smelled different to him. The water so clear it seemed invisible. Within a few short hours he forgot about his life in the city. He quickly realized this was going to be a journey of not only bringing his parents’ home, but it would be an adventure of self-discovery. As the nights passed he saw stars for the first time. It was so weird to him to hear nature sounds throughout the night. He found it hard to sleep because for the first time ever he felt awake. He realized as he traveled further north on the river and away from the centralized city he felt more and more free. As the days passed he finally arrived at the base of the Three Holy Mountains.
At this point he was tired and hungry. Having lived off fish and many sleepless nights stargazing he knew he had to make this final push to the summit for his parents. The climb to the top was not long, but it was to be parabolic and steep. This was the final push of what he thought to be the climax of his quest to bring his mother and father to their final resting place.
After days of climbing he was cold to the bones and shaking when he reached in his back pack for his mothers and fathers ashes after finally reaching the summit. The promise he made to his father is what gave him the strength to power on despite all the voices in his head to give up. All the people who doubted him and wrote his obituary. He said a prayer, held a picture of his father and mother and let the wind carry their ashes into the distance. In this very moment he felt an immediate calm for the first time in his life when thinking of his father. He knew his parents were together at home and in peace.
Now every mountain climber will tell you the climb doesn’t begin on the way up, it starts on the way down. He said one last prayer and decided to make his journey on the way down the mountain as he could see the weather was about to make a turn for the worst. As he made his way down the mountain on the Kijunsen trail he finally linked back to the Tenkansen river. He was able to take his raft winding through the mountain passes for several days. The winds were at times very volatile and the river was full of rapids. There were periods of calm. It was eerily calm at times.
As Ichi made his way east along the river and coming down in elevation he noticed storm clouds forming. It surprised him because he went so many days without a stir on the river. Now the winds were picking up, rain was coming down so hard he could barely see a few inches in front of his face. What Ichi didn't realized is that his life is about to take a turn he did not plan for. In the midst of this storm he missed his turn heading Southwest (red x) back towards home. Instead he continues to drift east on the river encountering more volatility and periods of calm. Then on one day he was asleep on his raft and awoke to another storm and was launched into the river. Ichi’s raft destroyed in pieces and now he was stuck hiking along the river and Kijunsen trail. He had no idea where he was. He could see the Three Holy Mountains in the distance behind him and at this point with the rain coming down on him he decided to setup camp and ride the storm out.
Part II: Will Ichi decide to head south trying to find a river link that will take him home? If he takes this path what awaits him is out of this world. Or will Ichi continue to head east towards the unknown and face different challenges?
Gold Weekly: It ain't over until the fat lady singsTrading indicator: Ichimoku Cloud
Momentum: Stochastic + RSI was heavily overbought so profit taking pattern is normal
Resistance: $1360
Support at cloud: Senkou A: 1260/ Senkou B: 1225
Trade Setup Idea: Might see technical pullback near the 618-786 Fib area that is near the Senkou A & B supports of the cloud. Rule is that you can't buy when prices are in the cloud as the kumo represents a state-of-equilibrium in the market and therefore trend cannot be confirmed. If you see support at Senkou A and a bounce this could be a solid reinforcement for longs. This would also complete a cup and handle pattern within a larger pattern, which is a rounding bottom reversal pattern.
Fundamentals: Need to watch closely US/China trade deal. A positive deal could reignite equity markets into a new bull phase market and put downward pressure on Gold. Will need to watch the development of this closely.
Cheers,
Bobby
