BTC downfall Morning folks, as you can the ichimoku cloud is indicating BTC is in for a drop in price. Ive highlighted 3 key alerts for a sell signal for the ichimoku strategy. I have been watching this for a while and the main signal i was waiting for was the lagging span to cross below the cloud. If we finish of this day with the lagging span below the cloud and price closing below 39k then we could see a sell off to 35k perhaps even further during the month of may.
As always let me know what you guys think and what your analysis is.
cheers.

S&P500 1H Ichimoku Analysis — Three scenarios to watch forFollowing my analysis of the bullish 4H signal, it is important to look at lower timeframes to analyse the trend.
On the 1H chart, we can see price is currently consolidating. Flat Han-ne lines (Tenkan-Sen/yellow and Kijun-Sen/red) indicate the short and medium-term price isn't making new highs or lows. The same is true with the Kumo cloud. When our Ichimoku lines go flat, we can expect that the price might start retracing and testing support/resistance.
We have three scenarios:
A: Price continues higher
B: Pullback intensifies, we find support, price continues higher
C: Price can't find support, consolidates, then breaks lower
I would look for longs in A/B if we also get our Ichimoku lines angled up again. We have already seen the uptrend starting on the 4H chart, so this analysis of the 1H chart is to confirm our bias. If we get into situation C, then our short term bias is in conflict with our longer-term bias, so we don't trade. It's that easy!
The 4H chart for those interested:
Bullish Ichimoku Signal on S&P500 FuturesIf S&P500 futures close above 4482 on the close of this 4H candle it will trigger a strong Ichimoku buy signal. The "Sanyaku Kouten" signal is when we have a Tenkan/Kijun cross, Chikou breakout, and Kumo breakout. Watch today's price action and check lower timeframes for entries. We have nearly passed all the hurdles I mentioned in my earlier TradingView idea that would signal a bullish shift in bias.
As always, watch lower timeframes such as 1H and 30m to confirm if there is a simultaneous uptrend. We don't have an edge in trading ranging markets, so capturing the trend is important.
DDS: BREAKOUT, POTENTIAL 16% MOVEDDS , Dillard's (Department stores).
I like the break of that 292 resistance (the flat of the ICHIMOKU cloud). Just got long for a swing trade.
My first target is 319, which is the flat line of the upper cloud.
My second target is around 339, to close the gap of November 2021.
My stop is under today's candle, around 290.
Trade safe.
GBPUSD bounce from cloud and kijun about to happen.I've put a stop market order right below the Kijun-Sen as that would mean we are moving away from these 2 strong ichimoku resistance lines. The chikou span is free to go lower as it will take 12 more bars for it to touch close again. It also gives some nice resistance when touching past price area. You can use a smaller stop and take profit to your liking but the entry part here is most crucial.
GBPUSD Long the Kumo BounceWe got a move straight to the top of the long term cloud and then a big retracement towards the top of the short term cloud. This also coincides with the neckline of the previously formed head and shoulders pattern. Places where multiple supports confluence are usualy very good areas to open a trade. I expect the price to go back up to the top of the orange cloud and put my stop loss right below the right shoulder of head and shoulder formation.
Short the Moving average + ichimoku. When I just opened the chart I saw a rapid decline from the Kijun-Sen and moving averages towards the bottom of the cloud. I expect price to move all the way to previous range low and put stop right above that range where the Kijun-Sen confluences with that line. Once I master this form of charting Ill start educating, my goal right now is to become a profitable trader first and not be a clown guru who does not even make money himself.
UK100A quick look at the FTSE100 Index using the traditional Ichimoku Cloud Settings of 9,26,52,26 and the MACD Indicator.
The Ichimoku Cloud Conversion Line (Tenkan Sen) is indicating that the Mid-Point of the Short-Term momentum is downwards at the moment.
The Ichimoku Cloud Base Line (Kijun Sen) is indicating the Mid-Point of the Mid-Term momentum is sideways at the moment but that may possibly change to downwards momentum once a significant low is created for the 26 periods.
The Ichimoku Cloud Lagging Span (Chikou Span) is indicating that momentum at the moment is downwards. Note that the Lagging Span (Chikou Span) is now under the Price from 26 Periods ago.
At the moment the Price is still in the Bullish Zone of the Ichimoku Cloud but is getting close to the Ichimoku Cloud Leading Span A (Senkou Span A) support level. At the moment of typing this, there is very little distance between the Leading Span A (Senkou Span A) and Leading Span B (Senkou Span B) support and resistance levels below the price.
Note that the Leading Span A (Senkou Span A) level is pointing downwards.
Note that the Last 5x Volume Bars have closed above its Volume 20 Period MA in the red.
The Price is still below its Volume Profile Fixed Range Point of Control (VPFR POC) for the Fixed Range of 8x 1hr candles that i have selected.
The Price is still way above its Volume Profile Visible Range Point of Control (VPVR POC) for this charts Visible Range.
If we look at the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), we can see that the MACD Line is still under is Signal Line and is indicating momentum is downwards at the moment. Note that the MACD Line as dropped under its 0.0 Base Line into the Negative Zone on this 1hr timeframe and that the Red Histograms are increasing in size. If you are waiting for confirmation to go long, you need the MACD Line to cross back ABOVE the Signal Line creating a Buy Signal for this 1hr timeframe.
Be on the lookout for a break below the Leading Span B (Senkou Span B) level into the Bearish Zone and a successfully re-test of the Leading Span B (Senkou Span B) level as Resistance, after that, full Bearish confirmation on this 1hr timeframe will be when the Leading Span A (Senkou Span A) crosses below the Leading Span B (Senkou Span B) creating a Kumo (Cloud) Twist into a new Bearish Red Cloud.
I hope this is helpful with trading.
ETH finds a long term support !After the last red days, ETH is now on the edge of its Weekly SSB, lost in its Weekly Cloud.
This support, located at $2300, is a solid one and Daily Lagging Span can support prices for a possible bounce.
First target : Daily Tenkan at $2720 .
Beware that Monthly Kijun is currently above prices, it would be nice for ETH to go back above it before the end of the month.
If SSB breaks, a solid lower support is located at $2,200 ; the Monthly Kijun.
Let's look at the evolution !
ICPBTCICP was 21 days in consolidation and I think it's about to break up.
The 78.6 zone is going to be resistance for now but for the last 3 days it's holding support over the rebound zone.
Over those 2 trendlines , I really think it will be safe to enter myself into a position.
Over Kijun and the cloud, things will get yummy :)
Happy Trading!
Ichimoku CloudToday i am gonna show you why you have to use ichimoku cloud with CME and why you should avoid it with Futures or Spot trading. ( Unless you don't change settings in Ichimoku )
if you keep Ichimoku with his original settings, they are adapted for a closure of the markets every Week-Ends, that's why ichimoku is mostly used in Forex or Stocks.
What about Bitcoin ?
- CME are closing on Week-end that's why you can see a GAP every weeks.
- Perpetuals Futures never close ( That's why they call them perpetuals :D )
- Spot Margin Never Close also
- i used H12 Timeframe + i kept only the cloud
- So now you just compare the 2 Charts and you will get very fast the aberrations between CME and Binance Perpetual Futures.
- Those little anomalies can drive you to make some big mistakes while using the cloud, so Stay Safe!
And remember that "The sun always shines above the clouds!"
Happy Tr4Ding !
