ICP is in a bull channel, which means our bias should be toward the upside. That does not mean it's the *only* data point to consider, we're also at resistance without a bear signal bar, so don't dive into a short just yet! We also have the 200EMA below us at $4.20, which is likely to act as support given that the overall trend is bullish.
Given these data, it's reasonable to look for a bear signal bar closing on or near its low to get short, then take some or all profits just above the 200EMA. Wait for more price action at that level to see if we get another leg up, or hold the rest of that short position to lower prices.

Contrary to other altcoins, ICP has shown a relatively muted response to the BTC rise. Although the asset has appreciated by 70% since October 15, it has not yet reached a new annual high, and the ICP growth rate remains somewhat sluggish.
Currently, the asset is trading between a support zone of $3.94-$4.18 and a resistance level of $4.64-$4.96. If BTC continues its sideways trend above $37,000 or maintains its upward movement, ICP might follow a similar trajectory. The next target for buyers could be the psychological level of $5, with an additional notable level at $5.42 just above.
In the event of a correction, ICP could retest its current buyer's zone, as well as potentially drop to the level of $3.78 and into the range of $3.5-$3.7.
🔥 ICP Long-Term Trend Shift: Short-Squeeze PotentialIn the past I've written many times about ICP's terrible performance and price action. It was one of the worst performing tokens of the last 2.5 years, with a serious risk of never going up again.
But, where there's pain, there's also opportunity. With ICP losing over 99% in value in 2.5 years, it has some serious potential to pump. Not saying that we're going to see new all-time highs, but a move towards 100$ is still in the cards.
The weekly RSI has hit it's highest level since ICP started trading on Binance. This is a bullish metric in itself.
Furthermore, with ICP being so weak, it was a shorter's dream come true. I reckon there's a lot of shorts currently wondering whether to close their short position or to leave it open.
If BTC (and alts) continue to rise, ICP will rise with it, making more and more shorters close their positions, which leads to even more bullish price action since they have to buy their positions back. This could cause a short-squeeze in ICP's price.
All in all, I think it's quite possible that ICP's lows are in and that we're going to see a long-term trend shift.

The Internet Computer is the world’s first blockchain that runs at web speed with unbounded capacity. It also represents the third major blockchain innovation, alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum — a blockchain computer that scales smart contract computation and data, runs them at web speed, processes and stores data efficiently, and provides powerful software frameworks to developers. By making this possible, the Internet Computer enables the complete reimagination of software — providing a revolutionary new way to build tokenized internet services, pan-industry platforms, decentralized financial systems, and even traditional enterprise systems and websites. The project was founded in October 2016 by Dominic Williams, and attracted notable interest from the crypto community. DFINITY raised a total of $121 million from contributors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Polychain Capital, SV Angel, Aspect Ventures, Electric Capital, ZeroEx, Scalar Capital, and Multicoin Capital, and several notable early Ethereum supporters. 🔥 ICP Triangle Break Out: Going Down!Around a month ago I made an analysis on ICP where I discussed the triangle pattern on the chart. Back then, ICP was doing great, but I still anticipated it to go down and find resistance.
After a few weeks of trading we got down to the bottom support, and eventually (today) broke through it. The bears got the overhand at the moment.
With a lot of alts currently performing badly and BTC moving down, I don't see ICP going back up in the short-term. Bearish targets in blue.

Thoughts
After a long fall, the coin was able to find a local bottom and go flat. A couple of times there was an attempt to break through the downward resistance, but it was not successful. Strong resistance provided final confirmation that a Descending Triangle pattern had formed.
After the third attempt to break through the resistance, the price froze and began to gain strength for the next impulse.
