WMT: Retraced into an optimal buy zone$WMT has retraced back down into support here, and it is an attractive buy for anyone using @timwest's methodology and indicators.
I'm looking to average into a long position here next week, buying into support, adding into strength, or even averaging down if we test lower support levels...as long as holding above this zone we're in good shape.
There's a 9 week uptrend active, as per Time@Mode, so, until this signal expires, or if we fail to hold support at the mode where most of the accumulation happened, prices are likely to trend up from here.
Best of luck,
Ivan Labrie.
EURUSD: At options expiration support...go long on strength!$EURUSD, $XAUUSD, $XAGUSD and other pairs likely bottomed in the last 3 days...
I'd reccomend looking for long entries on strength here. The option expirations levels I plotted here are key fundamental support and resistance levels we can use to guide us in FX or equities.
Most analysts and banks are bearish on the Euro here, but this move is overdone, and a return to the top of the range is likely, since sell pressure is likely exhausted.
If long, stop should be under the last daily low, and entry breaking a previous day high.
Best of luck,
Ivan Labrie.
Germany: 43 cent per share risk shortThis is a very, very tight stop loss short setup in the monthly EWG chart. If it confirms (which it might, due to the Deutsche Bank impending collapse), we could get confirmation during October.
We'd need price to stay clear from the 26.10 mark for the whole month, so we could use a stop at 26.11 without a problem here, or just trade it with options instead and exit if 26.11 is breached.
Interestingly enough, the SPX chart has a big uptrend that confirms if during October, we don't retest 2100, so, maybe we have a huge pair trade there: one fires an uptrend, the other a downtrend?
That would be a tremendous trade...
Good luck, hopefully they sort this DB problem without triggering a systemic crash, and if they do, we will be prepared.

LUV: Great accumulation at key level$LUV is showing a great accumulation pattern, right above an older 'Key earnings support' level.
We can long at market open risking a drop to 35.40, and aiming for a retest of 39.97 in the intermediate term.
This is a good way of leveraging a potential retracement in crude oil to be seen soon, possibly after the next OPEC meeting shows leaders fail to reach an agreement, or if they simply 'freeze' production at record levels (which is the same as sitting on their hands, and maintaining the status quo).

Forex portfolio: Go long GBPUSDI'll be posting my current FX portfolio ideas now. Today's events pave the way for really big trends until the end of the year so don't miss out on these, and all the follow up trades we will get.
Go long GBPUSD with stops under 1.29453. We can risk 0.5% on this trade. We're breaking above the options expirations resistance and we can expect a solid upwards move towards 1.36599.

PAAS: What goes up...I don't think PAAS investors will be able to prove Isaac Newton wrong here.
Silver shows potential for a downtrend in the intermediate term, which makes me think it's time to short PAAS.
Entry is at market, with stop at the highest high + 1 tick. You could also look to short calls, or other option strategy, but I'd rather short the shares. We can aim for the 15 handle, with aid from Tim West's Key earnings support indicator. If we cross the earnings level below price, we can be sure this drop will materialize.

CMCSA: Take the not too crowded shortLet's enter shorts in CMCSA at market price, stop loss is 68.32. Looks like a good chance with bearish RgMov signals pointing to further downside, while the daily chart uptrend turns around dropping under the Key Earnings Support level above. This is a very conservative stop loss, but I prefer to take small risks when it comes to fighting the trend.
Good luck!
Ivan Labrie.
WFM/WMT: Pair trade setupWe can take a pair trade here. Let's enter long WFM/WMT.
Basically, we'd consider risk per share, to determine the amount of shares to long and short on each leg of the pair, but not use any stop loss. Profit will result from WFM outperforming WMT in the coming months.
Good luck!
Ivan Labrie.
CUBI: Short term swing trade$CUBI offers a very nice long opportunity against the Key Earnings Support level at 26.23. Look to enter longs next week, and aim for a retest of 27.38, risking a drop to 25.66 initially. Ideally, you'll get the fill as reccomended on chart, if not, you can simply enter long at market, and use the same stop at the open. Watch the open on Monday closely.
