LVS Las Vegas Sands Options Ahead of EarningsIf you haven`t bought the dip on LVS:
Now analyzing the options chain and the chart patterns of LVS Las Vegas Sands prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 40usd strike price Calls with
an expiration date of 2024-9-20,
for a premium of approximately $3.00.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them.

We have faith in LVS to make up big groundBased on historical movement, the trough could occur anywhere in the larger red box. The final targets are in the green boxes. The pending top should occur within the larger green box as has been the historical case. Half of all movement has ended in the smaller green box. In this instance, the signal indicated BUY on March 2, 2022 with a closing price of 44.4.
If this instance is successful, that means the stock should rise to at least 44.86 which is the bottom of the larger green box. Three-quarters of all successful signals have the stock rise 5.912% from the signal closing price. This percentage is the bottom of the smaller green box. Half of all successful signals have the stock rise 11.262% which is the end point of the black dotted arrow. One-quarter of all successful signals have the stock rise 21.391% from the signal closing price which is the top of the smaller green box. The maximum rise on record would see a move to the top of the larger green box. These are the same concepts for the levels in the red boxes as well.
The ends/vertical sides of the boxes are determined in a similar fashion. The peak of the rise can occur as soon as the next trading bar after signal close, while the max rise occurs within the limit of study at 35 trading bars after the signal. A 1% rise must occur over the next 35 trading bars in order to be considered a success. Three-quarters of successful movement occur after at least 10 trading bars; half occur within 20 trading bars, and one-quarter require at least 31 trading bars.
The black dotted arrow represents median historical movement. Medians are a good metric, but they are just one of many I use when forecasting future movement.
As always, the stock could decline the very next bar after the signal without looking back (therefore the red boxes would not come into play) or the stock may never decline (and the green boxes may never come into play).
PENN Retesting $85 Soon?Penn National Gaming has quietly been gaining momentum during July after a massive fall in price since earlier this year. If we do a fib retracement from the swing high at $85 to its swing low at our bottom which is $63, we get a potential trade setup currently at the $71.84 price level. This $71 area is where the .382 fib level is, historically a great buy area mathematically speaking.
Depending on the open in the morning I plan on going long with a stop just below $71.84.
The key is that the $71.84 price holds. If a 4 hour candle closes below that, a retest of $68 will be in the cards which is my next and final buy area where a large position may be entered.
Bet On The House LVS has emerged from the trenches of its COVID-induced bottoms as it had at one point over doubled from its trough. Yet, recently it has seen another bear market as it has sold off roughly 25%. However, the company is in a way better position to capitalize on both the reopening of the world economy and cheaper financing from lower rates. The finances support this backdrop as its current asset has risen to $5.63B as its liabilities have remained subdued to $2.46B as of Q1 2021. This gives it a current ratio (assets/liabilities) of 2.3, the healthies the company has seen in several years.
Additionally, the company owns some of the best gambling assets in the world including the Venetian in Las Vegas, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and the Parisian in Macau. These assets may flourish as travel pick up around the world. Individuals and businesses will begin to spend more money on leisure and conventions which will ultimately drive the bottom line for these assets. Las Vegas Sands's global exposure also allows for diversification and global exposure to entertainment opportunities. The company has also flirted with the potential for a sports gambling and esports division which could drive growth in the future.
Finally, the company releases on July, 21 which will give a portal into the outlook of its revenue and income. This will be the ultimate driver of the price action of the stock in the short term.
Bet on the house.
