When Does a Digital Guardian Become a Digital Liability? In a dramatic turn of events that has captivated both Wall Street and Silicon Valley, a routine software update has spiraled into a half-billion-dollar legal battle between two industry titans. Delta Air Lines' lawsuit against cybersecurity leader CrowdStrike raises fundamental questions about corporate accountability in our increasingly interconnected world. The incident, which paralyzed one of America's largest airlines for five days, serves as a stark reminder of how thin the line has become between digital protection and digital vulnerability.
The case's implications stretch far beyond its $500 million price tag. At its core, this legal confrontation challenges our basic assumptions about cybersecurity partnerships. When CrowdStrike's update crashed 8.5 million Windows computers worldwide, it didn't just expose technical vulnerabilities—it revealed a critical gap in our understanding of how modern enterprises should balance innovation with stability. Delta's claim that it had explicitly disabled automatic updates, only to have CrowdStrike allegedly circumvent these preferences, adds a layer of complexity that could reshape how businesses approach their cybersecurity relationships.
Perhaps most intriguingly, this case forces us to confront an uncomfortable paradox in corporate technology: can the very systems we deploy to protect our infrastructure become our greatest point of failure? As businesses pour billions into digital transformation, the Delta-CrowdStrike saga suggests that our cybersecurity paradigm might need a fundamental rethink. With federal regulators now involved and industry leaders watching closely, the outcome of this battle could redefine the boundaries of corporate liability in the digital age and set new standards for how we approach the delicate balance between security and operational stability.

BTC Binance FUD - 20k or Bear-trap?Bitcoin has fallen over 6% in mere hours after the announcement that one of the largest crypto exchanges, Binance, is being sued by the SEC. Now seems the best time for me to put in buying orders at certain support price levels.
I see three Scenarios:
1.The news that SEC is suing Binance will have no short term aftereffect on the Bitcoin price. The price will recover quickly. This seems unlikely based on negative historical BTC events, which are usually followed by heavy panic selling and bear whale market manipulation. I expect the price to be pushed down lower than here. No Plateau continuation likely.
2. I expect the price to be pushed by the bears, towards the Golden Ratio of the Fibonacci Retracement, at which point we will see a hard support level. At this point, the FUD has been likely exhausted and the bulls are back in play. We might Plateau here for a while at 24-25k (+/-0.3k). High probability scenario.
3. We see more/new FUD, which sends the panic selling into overdrive. The Golden Ratio support does not hold. The BTC price will take a hit and I expect this will push the price down to the low 20k's (+/-0.3k). Unlikely, but possible scenario. Next support level will be at 20 - 17k.
XRP Holders Are Beginning to Lose Hope on the AltcoinXRP traders have accrued about $31 million in losses over the last week in trading.
Traders are shedding their XRP holdings and on-chain activity has dropped since the altcoin bridged its year-to-date high on the 11th March, 2024.
Technical Analysis
CRYPTOCAP:XRP price is at risk of further decline as holders anticipate developments in the SEC vs. Ripple lawsuit. CRYPTOCAP:XRP price broadly consolidated above $0.60 on Thursday currently trading at $0.6233 up by 2% as The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is set to file its remedies-related opening brief on Friday. According to Ripple and SEC’s agreement, the proceedings will remain sealed from public view and this has increased XRP holders’ anticipation of the developments in the legal battle.
CRYPTOCAP:XRP quickly dropped below the key support level at $0.60 on Thursday morning and surged to $0.6234. The altcoin has repeatedly tested the $0.60 support and rebounded from it, signaling its importance for the altcoin.
If the bears gain momentum, CRYPTOCAP:XRP could potentially drop to $0.5464. Moreover, the altcoin could collect liquidity at this level, it could see a rebound and target a new resistance level of $0.6886.
Meanwhile, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has shown a moderate growth rate for the asset at 51 indicating a neutral Pendulum bulb here. No overbought neither is there oversold scenario.
On-Chain Metrics
On-chain metrics pose a loss of interest in CRYPTOCAP:XRP while the altcoin faces a price correction.
CRYPTOCAP:XRP has considerably decrease in on-chain activity, as measured by the Active Addresses and Whale Transaction Count of those transfers valued at $100,000 and higher.
according to Santiment’s on-chain data, CRYPTOCAP:XRP reached its year-to-date peak on March 11 and since then these two metrics have been declining steadily. This occurs at the same time as XRP’s price has corrected. Ripple lost nearly 20% since March 11 together with the drop in activity.
JUDGE DENIES BINANCE AND SEC PRIVACY IN LEGAL BATTLEJUDGE DENIES BINANCE AND SEC PRIVACY IN LEGAL BATTLE
Judge Amy Berman Jackson denied a protective order in the legal battle between Binance and the SEC, ensuring greater public scrutiny of the case.
The ruling forces Binance and the SEC to manage sensitive information under public observation, altering their legal strategies.
The judge’s decision balances the need for transparency in high-profile cases with potential future measures to protect confidential information.
In a significant development in the legal tussle between the renowned cryptocurrency exchange Binance and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Judge Amy Berman Jackson has ruled against granting a protective order sought jointly by both parties.
This order, had it been approved, would have restricted the public disclosure of critical documents and data pertinent to the ongoing litigation.
The ruling reflects a shift towards transparency in a case that is being closely watched by the crypto community and regulatory observers, raising the stakes for how sensitive information is managed in high-profile legal disputes.
BNB Binance Coin PT| Binance vs SEC Lawsuit | Whales DumpingIf you haven`t read my article about Binace being the new FTX:
The you need to know that Binance disputes the SEC's allegations of mishandling customer funds, deceiving investors, and violating securities laws.
The legal battle between Binance and the SEC has sent shockwaves through the cryptocurrency community.
Binance and its affiliates assert that the SEC is overreaching its jurisdiction on digital assets, especially without any clear legislative guidance from Congress. The original lawsuit, filed in June, accused Binance of unlawfully listing unregistered securities.
Historically, the actions of whales have been instrumental in shaping the price movements of Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market.
Non-whale addresses, those holding less than 100 BTC, now account for over 41% of the total Bitcoin supply. Meanwhile, whales, entities holding between 100 and 100,000 BTC, have witnessed a decline in their collective holdings to 55.5%, marking their lowest ownership level since May.
The decrease in whale holdings could signal a potential change in the market's dynamics, potentially leading to increased volatility and uncertainty.
These developments collectively cast a shadow over the cryptocurrency market's near-term prospects.
In this context, my price target for BNB Binance Coin is $184.

PG - POTENTIAL TREND REVERSALU.S. appeals court judges questioned a 2.5-year pause in a shareholder lawsuit against PG&E Corp officers and directors. The lawsuit concerns statements about the utility's wildfire prevention. A pension fund sued 44 corporate leaders in 2018. The case was paused until the end of PG&E's bankruptcy, but judges now question the need for this delay. Shareholders claim billions in damages, and insurance funds have decreased. PG&E's financials improved in Q2 2023, but the lawsuit's fate remains uncertain.
Looks like the best time for trend reversal.

BNB Binance Coin Sell Opportunity? BNB (Binance Coin) may face potential downside risks as a bearish outlook looms over the cryptocurrency. The recent surge in price could be seen as a sell or short opportunity, primarily due to the ongoing lawsuit against Binance by the US Federal Reserve (FED).
The FED lawsuit raises concerns about regulatory scrutiny and potential consequences for Binance, which could have a negative impact on the value and reputation of BNB. If the lawsuit results in unfavorable outcomes for Binance, it may weigh heavily on the coin's performance in the market.
Investors considering BNB should carefully evaluate the potential risks associated with the regulatory uncertainty surrounding Binance.
My short term price target for BNB is $225.
Looking forward to read your opinion about it.
Trade Alert - Take Profit XRPTraders,
As suspected, a favorable ruling on XRP. Head and Shoulders target was achieved and more. I held to .75 cents and sold half for profits. The remaining balance I will hold with a breakeven stop out.
Congratulations who followed me in this trade! We were able to double at least half of our trade. I have a feeling the remaining balance will do even better but we may have to hold it for a bit.

XRP Court Victory ! Ripple's Impact on Crypto Landscape !!The recent developments in the cryptocurrency market, particularly the favorable court ruling for Ripple Labs, signal an optimistic start to a new altcoin season.
With the federal judge ruling that some of Ripple's sales of the XRP token do not fully meet the definition of a securities offering, it instills confidence in the altcoin space.
This ruling brings clarity to the regulatory landscape and alleviates concerns surrounding XRP, leading to major cryptocurrency exchanges, including Coinbase, relisting the token. The reintroduction of XRP to these platforms demonstrates growing acceptance and renewed interest in this altcoin.
The anticipation surrounding the approval of a spot bitcoin ETF in the United States adds to the positive sentiment in the market.
The successful launch of a previously approved ETF in Europe further reinforces the upward trend for altcoins.
The recent court ruling that declared XRP as not a security sets a precedent that could potentially benefit other cryptocurrencies currently classified as securities by the SEC. In the SEC's case against Binance, they designated 10 cryptocurrencies, including BNB, BUSD, SOL, ADA, MATIC, ATOM, SAND, MANA, AXS, and COTI, as securities.
Additionally, in the SEC's lawsuit against Coinbase, they named 13 cryptocurrencies, reinforcing their stance on SOL, ADA, MATIC, SAND, and AXS, and adding CHZ, FLOW, ICP, NEAR, VGX, and NEXO to the list.
This development showcases the increasing institutional acceptance of cryptocurrencies and creates a ripple effect across the market, providing a boost for various altcoins.
I think XRP could easily reach $1!
Looking forward to read your opinion about it!
BNB Versus BTC: A Grim PredictionAlthough this is probably becoming a more 'mainstream' view, I still believe BNB has lower to go. I mainly think that shorting BNBBTC is the best expression of a negative view on BNB and Binance broadly, as I think BTC will probably go higher over the next few months.
As Binance struggles with all these lawsuits and faces issues in and out of the US, its competitors are rising. In my opinion, all exchanges will face lawsuits from the US; it's just that Binance is the biggest target. Recently, regulators or Binance revoked some of its licenses, like the UK, Belgium, Netherlands, and Cyprus.
It's been clear for many years now it has done many shady things for which it would eventually have to pay a heavy price. It's unclear how dire the consequences will be, but it's unlikely that they will escape unscathed. There are also many big questions around BNBchain, which is heavily centralized and controlled by a few people.
BNBBTC peaked when FTX collapsed, a clear sign to go short. Why? Because regulators would have to become more active and mainly focus on Binance as it was selling its FTT and was partially blamed for the collapse. But how low could it go? And why?
In BTC terms, the minimum target is 0.0065. It will probably test that high and sweep the double bottom left untouched. However, as time passes, I think it will go significantly lower and potentially get as low as 0.003.
My reasoning is that 1) More exchanges will rise and compete with Binance, like Coinbase, Gemini, and other TradFi exchanges. Maybe even FTX gets revived (FTX 2.0), 2) BTC will dominate flows and liquidity as the ETF over the next year is almost a certainty, 3) Bitcoin, Ethereum, and their L2s will get the most users. Bnbchain will fail to gain extra traction, 4) Binance will face severe regulatory pressures and lose some court cases.
Finally, as you can see in the chart below, BNBUSD doesn't look healthy at all. It's still extremely overvalued, had a mini blow-off top and failure to reclaim support, has been rejected at the yearly Pivot, and has a massive FVG lower. I believe that the price could get to 150 over the next year, even if Bitcoin keeps rallying.
TRX founder Justin Sun 17 days to respond to US District Court If you haven`t sold TRX here:
Justin Sun, the CEO and founder of Tron, has been served a summons by the U.S. District Court and is required to respond within 17 days to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission's (U.S. SEC) lawsuit against him for alleged fraudulent crypto trading activity.
The Southern District of New York has given Sun a deadline to reply to the complaint, and the SEC has sent the summons to both his residential and office addresses. Failure to respond may result in a judgement against Sun in favor of the plaintiff.
I expect a major selloff before the expiration date.
looking forward to read your opinion about it.
XRP Bearish Pennant Price TargetIf you haven`t sold XRP here:
Then you should know that it appears that XRP has reached the price target associated with the double bottom pattern, which is a significant milestone. However, the formation of a bearish pennant pattern suggests that a retracement to $0.18 may be in store.
Looking forward to read your opinion about it!
XRP - Rejection from a danger zone. Capitulation Likely To Come.Ever since XRP reached its high of $0.585 it has been trying to break higher with no cuccess.
If we extend fib. levels form the top to the bottom of $0.41 we can see that the XRP has attempted to break higher tho has been rejected for the second time recently. Rejection from a .786 fib. retracement level is common as it presents a danger zone where prices if get rejected can revers the trend temporary.
Given that XRP tends move the last in the market ether to the upside or downside i thing we could be on a verge of a last capitulation as the rest of the market experiences second "flush" taking the whole market a little lower before reversing upwards. A final "flush" is what XRP went trough as SEC filled a lawsuit against Ripple in 2020.
RSI is also showing bearish divergences.
No one knows how deep can capitulation go but imo. it could go anywhere from $0.41-$0.36. We have to look for a high buy volume which typically a sign of a reversal.

XRP vs SEC lawsuitThe lawsuit brought against XRP by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) presents significant challenges for the cryptocurrency, suggesting a potential unfavorable outcome. Several key factors contribute to the argument that XRP may lose the lawsuit:
Regulatory Classification: The SEC contends that XRP should be classified as a security rather than a digital asset. This argument stems from the agency's belief that XRP meets the criteria of an investment contract, subjecting it to securities regulations. If the court agrees with the SEC's classification, it could have serious implications for XRP's status and operation.
Precedents: Previous cases involving the SEC and other cryptocurrencies, such as the Ripple and Kik Interactive cases, have resulted in unfavorable outcomes for the defendants. These rulings have established a precedent that strengthens the SEC's position and potentially weakens XRP's defense.
Investor Protection Concerns: The SEC's primary objective is to safeguard investors and ensure fair market practices. The allegations against XRP, including the sale of unregistered securities and potential market manipulation, align with the SEC's mandate to protect investors. This focus on investor protection may sway the court's decision against XRP.
Ripple's Control and Influence: Ripple Labs, the company associated with XRP, has faced scrutiny over its level of control and influence over the token. The SEC argues that Ripple's actions, including the sale of XRP, indicate a centralized entity exerting control, which conflicts with the decentralized nature often associated with cryptocurrencies. This argument could weaken XRP's position in the lawsuit.
While the outcome of the lawsuit remains uncertain, the aforementioned factors suggest that XRP may face challenges in defending its case against the SEC. It is essential for XRP holders, traders, and investors to closely monitor the developments in this legal battle, as the verdict will undoubtedly have significant implications for the future of XRP and the broader cryptocurrency industry.
It is my belief that in light of the ongoing lawsuit, XRP is likely to face an adverse outcome, resulting in a significant sell-off of the cryptocurrency, potentially driving its price down to the $0.10 level.
Looking forward to read your opinion about it.
SEC Sues Binance taking Bitcoin right to its mark!Traders,
Legalized mafia (the SEC) have attacked crypto once again. But crypto remains strong, resistant, and resilient. This time will be no different. In fact, from a technical standpoint, as long as we can remain above BTC 25,200, I will be as bullish as ever. Let's take a look how the SEC's lawsuit against Binance might impact crypto.

BTC Bitcoin Bad News | SEC has filed 13 charges against Binance!Binance and its co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) were sued by the U.S. SEC on 13 different charges. The commission claimed that the defendants mixed together user funds worth billions of dollars and pointed out that the money was sent to a European company controlled by CZ.
The commission stated that Binance established its U.S.-based entity, Binance.US, as a means to protect the exchange and its CEO, with the intention of evading law enforcement. However, the regulatory body referred to Binance as an unregulated international exchange.
In its complaint, the U.S. SEC identified BNB, BUSD, SOL, ADA, MATIC, FIL, ATOM, SAND, MANA, ALGO, AXS, and COTI as securities and accused Binance.US of facilitating their trading.
Binance CEO, CZ, characterized the allegations made by the commission as "an attack on the entire industry.
I expect that BTC Bitcoin will complete the Head and Shoulders bearish chart pattern and reach $23000.

TRX Tron Founder Justin Sun 4 Days Left To SEC Lawsuit Summon !Justin Sun's Deadline Approaches: 4 Days Left to Respond to SEC Lawsuit Summon Over Alleged TRX Market Manipulation!
Tron (TRX) cryptocurrency founder Justin Sun has reportedly been issued a summons in the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawsuit.
The SEC charged Sun with "fraudulently manipulating the secondary market for TRX through extensive wash trading," claiming that trades were made without a change in "beneficial ownership."
The SEC also alleged that the distribution and sale of BTT and TRX required Sun to register the sales with the agency because they were allegedly sold as securities.
In addition, the SEC accused Sun of orchestrating "a scheme to pay celebrities to tout TRX and BTT without disclosing their compensation." This claim suggests that Sun may have been involved in misleading investors by paying celebrities to promote TRX and BTT without disclosing their compensation.
The allegations against Sun are significant and could potentially have a significant impact on the cryptocurrency market.
I expect TRX Tron selloff soon!
Looking forward to read your opinion about it!
✴️ Binance Lawsuit In A Nut ShellThese Governmental institutions are going to be loosing all credibility, if they have any left.
One says that cryptocurrencies are "securities", the other is saying that cryptocurrencies are "commodities" and are starting a public fight over this issue involving and harming in the meantime millions upon millions of innocent people.
Cryptocurrencies are neither securities nor commodities, they are a new asset class. They are cryptocurrencies.
Define this new asset class and build a new institution that is in charge of overseeing them based on the newly stablished definition.
Limit the other rabid institution so they won't infect the rest of the world.
✔️ Limit the SEC and the CFTC to their respective fields and markets and let the "Cryptocurrency Task Force" (CTF) deal with Crypto.
The law should be based on creating the means to allow the companies that are operating now and those that will show up in the future to flourish.
What can we do to promote expansion, innovation and growth while at the same time protecting customers?
What can we do so that the entire industry becomes a better place for all those involved?
This type of institution people will love, support and enjoy.
Namaste.

$VPLM for all the new visitors to the VPLM board, welcome. I thought I'd re-post some info to get you up to speed (several posts below). Summary: VPLM has been defending its patents against multiple HUGE tech company infringers for 10+ years. Google, Samsung, Tmobile, Meta, Amazon, etc. VPLM has been winning over & over again, in court and at the patent board. It is the 9th inning now, with court dates set for this summer IN WACO TEXAS, a court (and jury) that supports patent property rights. The big boys are in a big bind, and we investors might have a decent shot at some real $$. Not investment advice, GLTA

* Upgraded the Board of Directors to include new members with extensive experience in M&A.
* Brought on board new boutique NYC law firm (Kevin Malek) to go to battle against the big silicon defendants.
* Brought on board terrific superstar lawyer in luis Hudnell
- ceo malak returned many hundreds of millions of shares back to the treasury to reduce the outstanding share count (to the benefit of shareholders)
And more recently…….
***Patents have been validated***
***Initial damages analysis done***
***Defeated 12 more IPRS (20 total)**
***IPRs have been appealed and upheld unanimously***
***No patents have been invalidated***
*** Current with all requisite filings***
***current with prosecuting patents and keeping both parent and child patents current***
***Reduction in OS count (thanks Emil!)***
***Some claims (@20) invalidated for RBR but could be overturned with a decision on Axle at the Supreme Court***
***NDCA is a very difficult court to win as it is defendant friendly. Waco is fair and plaintiff friendly***
***Foot in the door in WACO and now some defendants must remain in Waco (Amazon’s writ of mandamus denied!) and face a trial. Other defendants currently stayed in NDCA are tied to Waco results***
***Albright is a judge that is perceived as fair, by the books and fast which means vplm will be given a fair chance to argue / defend patents on the merits (all we could ask for)***
***99% of Albright's cases settle before trial. Albright encourages settlement ALL THE TIME. If defendants get to trial they have been given multiple chances to settle so they can’t expect Leniency from judge Albright***
***Defendants are NOT working together as a formal consolidated group. There is a disconnect - which plays into VPLM’s favor***
***Most big defendants will settle before providing source code when discovery is requested and required. Vplm is well into discovery phase so it is only a matter of when and not if source code will be demanded***
***Apple's own expert admitted in court in virnetx case - on the record - that they use relays to route their calls (imessage, facetime, etc.). This admission will come to bite the apple in the butt***
***Apple tried to file a patent when VPLM was updating their RBR child patent but they failed to do so before VPLM did. We were first to file at USPTO. Now why did they do this? --> because they wanted to get around infringing. Sorry apple, you lose again***
***60+ companies have received letters that notified them of possible infringement AND offered them the chance to take a license. This was years ago. Willful infringement equals treble damages!***
***Apple and others can be brought back into litigation as they were dismissed WITHOUT PREJUDICE***
🚀🚀🚀 XRP what's next? Very large VOLUMES! 🚀🚀🚀Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, we haven't seen a breakout of the trend line, what next?
There are several scenarios. I personally took a position at $ 0.69 on a LONG with a stop loss below the local low. I'm counting on another breakthrough attempt.
The main resistances are marked with a dashed green line. The close of the candle below the red line (resistance) will mark a descent to the last key position for XRP $ 0.55.
This week you can see large VOLUMES, which positively indicates a rebound in the price.
We also have divergences on the RSI. Increasingly higher, lows on the chart and decreasing ones on the indicator indicate a bearish.
Higher lows and vice versa on the RSI speak of a bullish move. So we have an unclear situation.
One thing is that we stopped at substantial support. Breaking it will create a medium-term doubletop, and then only a continuation of declines.
From the fresh news regarding the SEC vs XRP case.
Ripple took another victory over the Securities Commission.
The judge rejected another SEC request that was intentionally delaying the end of the case.
As a result, the re-introduction of XRP to the market may be faster than expected.

XRP forecast for new ATHHey guys am back to give you my forecast on how xrp might hit its new ATH. As you all have notice its not that easy giving a forecast on xrp due to the issues and FUD its facing but bear with me here lets go back to November 2020 before all this mess started....
During the 20-25 November 2020 xrp broke out of the $0.25 signaling a start of a bullish trend, then on that December 2020 the law suit on Ripple started which caused us profit on the first Alt season it dropped to $0.20 then broke out of trend and formed a BB (similar to H&S) and then it broke out (confirming the BB) and shot up +/-210% to $1.91 and in that same month of April in retraced to a new low of $0.55 ,the from there it start forming another BB now we wait and see if it will like the 1st BB ?? Do you think it will??
And if does move exactly like the first one and shots up +/-210% it would take the price to $4 causing it to make a new ATH and a new low maybe between $1.60-$2.20...
kindly leave a comment on your thought and views
