Didn't take a trade today, as I scalped my usual 10 spot early on Asia session open.
But looks like the markets treated everyone good today with the hopes of USA debt ceiling fight might be resolved soon.

After NY didn't disappoint with its usual tight range, got my 10pips on the AUDUSD on the heels of Asia open.
Yes, I am bitter with the NY session being not friendly to the charts.
They say yeah, "the London/NY overlap is the best," yeah "NY has the highest volume.."

1st trade on the day was a long, bis fat 11pips loser.
Then took the signal short immediately for 11pip win, originally was 10pip TP, but moved TP for that extra pip, just because I can, LOL

A real huge gamble before JP speaks, rollercoaster range.

NY news release saw the USDCAD chop a bit until settling down to go a bit higher with the DXY dollar index
It's tough to figure out USDCAD follows the WTI or the DXY, just depends on the news

Figured I'd scalp this on a 30 second after all the Oil news release....

I have always theorized, when there is no impactful news on the docket, NY has a high probability that it will give us. boring slow chop day.
