MU Wave 5Micron Technology Inc. (MU) broke out of wave 4 consolidation. Bullish engulfing candle with an association of high relative volume is key signal this a true breakout. Indicator confirm breakout with cross in StochRSI, TMO, and daily squeeze breaking out. Prior to breakout, Micron held the 21 ema with a hammer candle. Earnings at 1/7/21, so look for run up and momentum continuation.
MU UpdateNASDAQ:MU
Hi all, MU is still inside a consolidating triangle, so I am not looking for a breaking to ATH's yet. MU next target is 49.20, but if it can't break the downward resistance, it will likely retest 43 range. As long as MU stays above the upward support, the target is 49. Further analysis and thanks to my followers for keeping me up to date
MU: Micron Keeps Moving Up - Possible TargetsMicron chart keeps rallying towards its earnings day on 09/29/2020 (confirmed). Trading at $47.80, the price is close to its second target of $48.13 (50% Fib level). Potential higher targets are at $51.46 (78.6%) and $54 (100%) levels.
Scenario analysis: ADP employment numbers to be reported on Sept 3rd may help with further short-term price advancement, if positive. However, September has been a volatile month historically. A broader pull back in major indices is possible between next week and end of this month. If such correction occurs, MU chart may pull back as well, possibly down to $44 level, to resume its rally toward price levels above $50 with general market move higher in October - November time frame. If MU chart makes its way to $51 level before the earnings, that could be a good opportunity to book the profits and reassess possible price movements at that time.
MU: SOXL: Micron is Moving HigherMU: Micron has started its rally toward Q3 - next earnings season. The chart has reached $45.06, its 23.6% Fib retracement level, which may serve as near-term resistance, or consolidation zone before its next leg up. Momentum has turned positive as MACD has crossed to the upside on all time frames. There are two unfilled gaps below, at $43.76 and $42.68 levels. Next possible targets for the move higher are $48.13 (50%), $51.46 (78.6%), and $54 (100%). Pull backs on the way up are possible and are likely to represent a buying opportunity.
TIME TO JUMP ON MU NASDAQ:MU
As per my previous analysis, MU did exactly as expected and filled the gap at 46.80 and hit support at the $45 level. Now MU has settled at a support line established during the flash crash of Christmas 08. Nothing screams BUY MU like this setup.
Feel free to follow for ongoing analysis
MU to fall a little further before buy opportunityNASDAQ:MU
MU broke through the channel I drew and the stock appears to be heading towards major support at $45. I will consider this my entry point for calls. I think this a great stock that doesn't get the credit it deserves. I'd like to see this stock head to $60 again by year end.
Bullish Charts - Golden Cross Soon, Possible BuyoutMicron Technology, Inc. engages in the provision of innovative memory and storage solutions. It operates through the following segments: Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU); Mobile Business Unit (MBU); Storage Business Unit (SBU); and Embedded Business Unit (EBU). The Compute and Networking Business Unit segment includes memory products sold into cloud server, enterprise, client, graphics, and networking markets. The Mobile Business Unit segment offers memory products sold into smartphone, and other mobile-device markets. The Storage Business Unit segment comprises of SSDs and component-level solutions sold into enterprise and cloud, client, and consumer solid-state drive (SSD) markets, other discrete storage products sold in component and wafer forms to the removable storage markets, and sales of 3D XPoint memory. Parkinson, Dennis Wilson, and Doug Pitman in October 1978 and is headquartered in Boise, ID.
At current levels, I feel Micron is undervalued and unappreciated.
There are not many devices in the technology industry that do not need memory and storage. Micron can supply the memory and storage from electric vehicles to computers and spaceships to airplanes. Almost everything today needs memory including appliances and smart homes.
Micron just posted earnings and they blew past Wall Street estimates and then the company raised guidance and forecast higher earnings and revenue moving forward.

In my opinion, I think Micron is the best play in town and I also think it's a buyout target. If I were the CEO of Microsoft or another large tech giant like Apple, I wouldn't even think twice about trying to buyout Micron because down the road, everything will need memory and storage to operate.
If Micron is bought, I think the buyout would be upwards of $120 per share.
This was from 2016 and in my opinion, Micron looks better now than ever before... If it looked good in 2016, it looks amazing now!
