XMR Monero - The #1 bad boy crypto. great Moon$hot candidate?Summary: Preparing to go long if $240 resistance gets broken out of this trading zone.
Current valuations and volume to watch: MARKET CAP $3.93B VOLUME (24H) $414.43M Would go long on short term trade when we break resistance convincingly. Would not invest in this since it's gangster funds. No reason to mix clean money with dirty money if you own clean money. Much like it's a bad idea to store value in cash because there, you have banksters behaving badly.
If I was Monero XMR incorporated, I would be worried having a half-a-million dollar bounty on my head by the US Government. But monero isn't an entity, it's crypto technology that provide privacy for financial transactions, Unfortunately, it's used by bad guys to trade and do bad things. But the technology itself appears to be rock solid with the US Department of Justice telling the world it cannot track monero transactions by offering a substantial amount of money to break it.
What does that tell the bad guys??? They just found their leader?! This makes Monero #1 government target in the crypto space because if you understand the technology and potential is possibly warranted? Well, XMR maybe #2 just behind BS vapour stablecoins.
Unlike Bitcoin BTC that has a public ledger, everyone in the world can track funds between wallets. Biitcoin is great for law enforcement, they can get easy analytics of "clean" wallets. Money flowed KYC onramp to crypto-> BTC wallet with a public BTC address -> KYC offramp to fiat. Conversely, illegal activity connected "dirty" wallets can easily be tracked on Bitcoin and so can the money flow between open ledger wallets. If you're a bad guy, you can try to use a bunch of tricks to try to hide your illegal activity on Bitcoin (and failing miserably) or use Monero or other privacy coins. From my research XMR seems to be the #1 privacy coin out there?
Monero is the technology equivalent of a world bank. Banks operate closed ledgers, not open ones like Bitcoin. From a technology perspective, XMR is fabulous. From a society and world implication, it will push humanity to evolved to solve problems illicit use creates. But ultimately, in a civilized and law abiding society, there's no reason to ban any of this. If I want to send say $100 to a friend in an oppressed country, she is stuck. That $100 is a gift, I earned it honestly, paid tax on it to earn it etc and I want that $100 to be 100% confidential between me and her. It's a gift between two people, nothing illegal is done, I want the transaction to be online, bankless, and private.
Monero is the #1 solution from what I can see.
Monero isn't bad, but it can be used to hide transfers of illegally funds. Monero is like a knife. You can use it for good or bad. You can use a knife for productive use like preparing your meal or use it for illegal use like stealing at knifepoint. You should be allowed to use Monero for good and law enforcement should be able to monitor bad guys. But how do you track the bad guys with Monero. That's the core issue there so I understand the issues governments and law enforcement would have with monero.
Banning monero is easy, it's a law and a country can say "citizens may not own this", just like owning plutonium. India is the leading democratic country that will attempt to do it.
Is Monero akin to plutonium? As a technology person, I do appreciate the beauty of incredibly powerful elements. I would classify plutonium and monero is the same category of potentially highly regulated elements. One is physical and highly detectable. The other isn't.
Regardless what happens with Monero's future legal status, Bitcoin fans will rejoice in knowing that democratic governments cannot ban Bitcoin, they will get voted out of office. But democratic governments can, and likely will, ban untraceable crypto like Monero because of its illicit capabilities so this is not a safe investment coin. It's a toxic trading coin, like USDT. Trade with care and make sure you can quickly trade out on triggers when you hold. If the G20 countries ban it, one would have to move to a non-G20 country to legally own Monero? Not something I would do for the sake of privacy.
Adding XMR on my trade-only watch list and I will likely hold it minutes/hours because this coin has big bullseye on it. If I was law enforcement and policy makers, I would ban all closed-ledger or private cryptos that are not operated by a custodian registered in the country. Bitcoin BTC, as the world's #1 open ledger, proven crypto, goes to a million dollar plus
as altcoin investors flow back into the #1 safe heaven crypto.
Stay safe. Trade and invest with care. Please comment, like etc. Always looking for alternate point of views to avoid the blindsides.
Monero
Monero long term buy area or short now On weekly chart you can see big reverse candle of wave B so according Fibonacci one to one extension i set target around 120$. Another levels are for catching orders on support areas. Also target 120$ is Fibonacci retracement 0.61 area so it is very strong golden ratio.
MONERO, XMRUSDT is waiting for triggerHello my friends. Monero is ready and just waiting for trigger so keep it in your watchlist. You can buy it after the base band and fib 0.61 is broken. Everything is clear on the chart for you. Good luck.
If you like the idea, do not forget to support with a like and follow me for next analysis :)
Monero (XMR) to $380 before June? Never say never! Monero is a really interesting coin to me. I've been watching it for a while. It seems to be one of the few coins that is very-much anti-hype, and relies heavily on actual usage, community funding, and other measures of "organic growth". For a coin that has been battle-tested and around since 2014, you'd think it deserves a much higher price-tag! But where others see lackluster performance, I see one of the comfiest longs of all time. The risk/reward is insanely attractive. You can own >1/1millionth of the supply (until ~2040), today, for $4000-5000. This proportional network share is greater than or equal to (depending on when you compare, due to Monero's tail-emission) owning 21 bitcoins on the bitcoin network (currently worth more than $1,200,000).
Locally I see a potential bull-flag. But on a longer time-frame, there is undeniable fundamental backing that makes it impossible for me to ignore Monero (XMR).
Let's review some facts :
1) Monero is cheaper to use than Bitcoin. I have been looking at the stats from Monero.how to get accurate data on median transaction fee for the last 100 tx's on both monero and bitcoin. Consistently, monero is LOADS cheaper to broadcast. Currently, XMR median-fee is $0.0121 compared to BTC's median-fee of $28.6950 during the same time-frame.
2) Monero is faster than Bitcoin. XMR Average Block-time: 2 minutes! compare this to bitcoin's average block-time which has been only as low as 7.5 minutes in the past 3 years, and as high as 15.6 minutes, with the average 5-times as long as monero's around ~10-minutes.
3) Monero has faster proportional transaction-growth than bitcoin. Again, you can source this data from many sources but I choose to look at the stats on monero.how on a daily/weekly basis, personally. Take a look at the section in the middle titled Monthly transaction count . Monero has been doubling year after year while bitcoin's transaction count stagnates. Likely due to the bitcoin-maximalist narrative shifting from "A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" to a so-called "store of value" or "digital gold", instead; this narrative shift is likely fueled by the slow block-time and increasing fees pricing out most practical use.
4) Monero has built-in consumer protections. Monero is the only truly digital-cash crypto out there. It provides consumer protection so powerful that the IRS wants to crack it and the darknet is dropping Bitcoin entirely . Now, some people view monero's use in illicit activity as a bad thing. I would like to remind you that Bitcoin comes from the exact same background, with it being the only payment option on darknet-markets for years, and anybody who isn't buying Monero due to regulatory/illicit-use concerns will also have missed buying Bitcoin when it was worth <$1000 as during its early years the same exact regulatory concern existed. Furthermore, the corporate adoption of Bitcoin has not even been stopped by ugly, immutable facts (that people seldom like to discuss for obvious reasons) like this
Sit back, and enjoy the ride, my friends. DeFi and NFT are the hype right now, but Monero is inevitable. The price has doubled even after the bittrex-nothing-burger delisting scare (seriously? we lost <0.1% of daily volume) because Grayscale has announced their potential monero trust
All of this is going to look so obvious in hindsight. It just moves slowly. I think buying 1.87-18.7 Monero, at least, if you can afford it, will most likely lead to a fantastic return on a local timeframe for USD and almost certainly on a longer time-frame (yearly) as companies like Chainalysis continue to further control transparent blockchains and investors seek consumer protections like the privacy that monero offers.
That being said: this is not financial advice; I am not a financial advisor. All investments are inherently risky and there is a possibility of losing all of your principal investment. I think that covers the legal bases ;)
Monero XMRUSD: When to Buy
Hey traders,
I already have a long position on Monero.
The first long was opened at the end of February.
Now I am looking for opportunities to add more to my position.
XMR is currently trading within a horizontal trading range.
I am waiting for its bullish breakout (8H candle close above) to buy.
Taking into consideration that the market is trading in a strong bullish trend,
chances will be high to see a continuation all the way up to the current structure high.
Remember, that in case of a bearish breakout of the range, setup will be invalid.

Elliott Wave Analysis: Bitcoin and MoneroHello traders.
Below it’s a quick update on bitcoin after current sell-off which is quite aggressive can cause more weakness especially if we see drop below 50.300 level. At the same time keep an eye on some weak alt coins that can lose even more if BTCUSD will stay sideways. In this video I looked at Monero.
Have a good day.

MONERO - This Is How I Determine Price Targets + Trend AnalysisIn this video I share how I look for price targets.
There are certain conditions that must be met before you can determine a price target more accurately compared to just using the last low.
There are also other things to consider, especially because Cryptos are still in their infancy.
Either way it's fun to do it. Helps deal with FOMO. Puts things into perspective.
Just remember: I am not a financial advisor, I suggest using this only as a guide. Always do your own research.
XMR Longterm OutlookI am personally bullish with regard to Monero.
The lowest it should go is $157 the week or next week, but that depends on market conditions.
Thereafter I expect a continuation to the upside fulfilling all the targets above. Do note that the moon target is not the final target, the final target is the last numerical target. Moon targets can take months to reach so it is better to stack more coins while waiting for them.

EW Analysis: XMRUSD Monero May Face A Deeper Corrective DeclineHello traders!
Today we will talk about cryptocurrencies, specifically XMRUSD Monero in which we see quite clear pattern. We will talk about its price action from technical point of view and wave structure from Elliott Wave perspective.
Well, if you are familiar with Elliott Wave, then you know that after every five waves, a three-wave pullback follows. And, as you can see, seems like Monero may have a completed 5th wave, especially if we consider strong and impulsive five-wave drop from the highs, which can be an indication for a deeper, higher degree A-B-C correction that can send the price back to the previous wave 4 and 120 support level.
Currently, it looks like it's just in a slow three-wave (A)-(B)-(C) corrective rally within wave B that can find the resistance ideally here around 240 - 260 zone and from where we should be aware of another sell-off for wave C.
Invalidation level is at 288 highs.
Bu humble and trade smart!
