Petroleo Brasileiro SAPetroleo Brasileiro SA Petrobras (ADR) (NYSE:PBR) revealed on Wednesday that it would offload assets for $2.2 billion to Total SA (ADR) (NYSE:TOT). PBR will receive more than 70% or $1.6 billion of cash in 60 days of the deal’s closing. The assets in the disposal include holdings in oilfields and two thermal stations.
