OSUR - 3M CHART - FINALLY READY FOR 15-20 RANGE?OSUR has enough failed attempts on both resistances I think it may just crack again sending it up to 16-20 range. Maybe even more. Do your own DD but it is extremely clear its very hard to get candles above the dual green zone of resistance and keep them up there longer term. Let's see how this next week or two play out. Could be interesting.
OSUR
$OSUR: Strong base after a 49% decline...I think this is once again an interesting name to buy back here...I recall @timwest pointing it out in early 2016, near the very bottom before a huge rally. We were bullish on it at the right time, and I think it's the right time once again.
Fundamentals for the stock are a bit convoluted, with self diagnostic kits segment being highly competitive, and sales slumping, but the chart shows renewed interest in the stock from big buyers, given the accumulation base after a strong climb a month ago.
I would assume some interesting news is about to come out, that might be the catalyst to push it up from this base...
I'll be a buyer on signs of strength, if it breaks up from here soon.
Keeping an eye on it.
Cheers,
Ivan Labrie.
OSUR: More long term picksThis one is one of Tim West's findings. After exhaustive technical analysis on my part, I noticed we had a great chance to enter right at the start of a quarterly rally in the stock, so I took the plunge recently, ahead of earnings, at 8.87. I reduced my position to 3%, down from 13% to book some profit and in case we get a dip to add back to longs. I did swap some of it for other positions, to improve my portfolio, so, it's all good. Naturally, Tim's stock picking prowess once again shined here.
The chart here is really constructive, and you could jump in here, on any setback, or even on a breakout of the earning day high perhaps. I'd reccomend entering a position gradually, if you're interested in riding the long term advance to $24. Buy each day for 2 weeks to a month, until you complete your desired exposure to the stock. Size is up to you and your preferred risk parameters.
Good luck,
Ivan Labrie.
