(BRK.B) berkshire hathaway_newThe orange line is a same price % scale of BTC overlayed on top of BRK.B. The long term success of BRK.B is harder done than said. The volatility of Bitcoin is hellish compared to so many years of BRK.B succeeding including stock splits to keep the price down. If marginal shares were available to all people where a person could invest any amount of money they wished into the stock market perhaps more people would have become interested in stock trading before cryptocurrency succeeded. Cryptocurrency affords anyone to invest for any amount of money on any trade of cryptocurrency regardless of the price per share cost, unlike stock market. I know that marginal shares became a thing on Robinhood a couple years back. I am unaware of the progressive push by Robinhood and how their work influences other stock trading companies to improve their business model to appeal to a younger audience. Ironically, there is no way to put "BRK.B" into a tag. There is an understatement of percentage earned here as seen on the BRK.B chart because it doesn't account for all the stock splits over the years. One would have to create a modified chart to have a way to compare stocks that split versus cryptocurrency that does not, kind of like the, 'adjust for inflation' thing people always say and do.

Microsoft Replicating 1987 SPX ChartSince Microsoft bought ChatGPT back in March 2023, the price of NASDAQ:MSFT stock has gone on to replicate the same pattern as the 1987 S&P500 stock market rally.
Does it mean anything all by itself? No. It still needs a catalyst for the drop to happen. The 1987 stock market crash had many triggers and catalysts and the drop was a sharp 40% from August 28th, 1987 to October 19th 1987.
What would cause a sharp 40% drop in NASDAQ:MSFT ? You all could type in your guess in a reply to this chart. It could come about under a variety of situations, but it would take an act of Government regulation or a major sea-change in laws or the business environment.
When you see people posting "overlays" of the market to past debacles, you will find almost NONE of them work.
Last year in January I posted a pattern where NASDAQ:TSLA was mimicking the fundamental and technical price pattern that NYSE:MCD McDonalds had from over a decade ago when it fell 75% on a rough patch for its business. It turned out to be identical and NASDAQ:TSLA rallied over 150% last year just exactly the same as happened to $MCD. I'll post the link down below for you to view.
The overlay here between NASDAQ:MSFT and the 1987 SP:SPX is pretty amazing but we have no catalysts to make it drop. Stay tuned on any weakness and look for cheap hedges (long term puts out to July-Oct-Dec for this year). Don't spend more than 1% of an account to hedge a position, but if you hedge it correctly you can protect against a large decline without much cost to a portfolio.
Here's hoping this pattern doesn't 'pan-out' because it would be or could be very disruptive to the markets.
Wishing you all health and success in the markets this year and thanks to TradingView for all of the great tools for doing research!
Cheers,
Tim

Bonk Coming into the buy zoneThis is my new script the volume overlay tool I will be calling the trades about to happen tool. Bonk is winding up for wave C and the more bullish BTC looks the more likely a breakout for BONK that there is. Demand zones are shaded. Target is a retest of .0000013-.0000015 and hopefully a rise in volume and then those areas become support. If you are interested in trying out these tools for free send me your tradingview username.
US Presidential Election Year Pattern 04-08-12-16Did anyone notice that the Covid19 Crash of 2020 fell to the level where Trump was elected back in November 2016?
I thought it would be interesting to use the "bars pattern" tool to copy the US Presidential Election Year price action of the $DJI Dow Jones Industrials and paste it to the end of 2019 to see how we are doing compared to the last 4 elections. I'll add some more after I publish this.
I hope you can find patterns in price action to help you find insights into market opportunities. Every day I am searching for ideas in the Key Hidden Levels Chat room and posting them as I see them.

EURUSD sell scalp setup w/ USDJPY pattern overlayTaken from UJ on Daily. UJ is a nice sell that I will let run. This is just a EURUSD 15 minute chart. Notice the TDI is showing more room up. Just pointing out that if u get a spike up creating divergence u can get an exact entry on a sell scalp, but I will just leave my nasty trades to run, no need to waste time on petty stuff.

FUNDAMENTAL DATA | Apple vs Count of Active Apps by Month (Log)I thought this was interesting data, so I thought I'd share for future reference. Particularly seeing as there seems to be a slowdown in the growth rate of active apps.
LTC crazy comparison to BTCHello crypto enthusiasts and traders, it has been a while since my last post where the three drives pattern failed as LTC was beaten down below the long term trend line. Still Long on LTC for 2018 as this is not unusual for the crypto market and afterall, BTC was ranked the worst investment in 2014 and people are starting to say the same thing now about 2018 so let the next part of history also repeat itself - more on that here www.theguardian.com . Anyhow, we've had quite a few weeks to accumulate more LTC and average down at prices many getting into LTC in late 2017 have never experienced. Lets keep it simple with this chart.
Being curious, I overlayed Bitcoins % line over Litecoins and have found a pretty cool oscillating pattern between the two. The chart says all you need to know but lets be clear, BTC's line is roughly where LTC would be $110-$130 so this is not saying we are mooning, but more so saying that based on previous history, we SHOULD check in to the BTC % line. Only if BTC also rises, would LTC be able have crazy % gains as seen Q4 2017. Happy trading!

This is not financial or trading advice and trades should not be made based on this chart or anything I've written. These are just merely my opinions.
2014 CRASH COULD HELP PREDICT HOW 2018 WILL PLAY OUT!This chart is just too perfect. The time-adjusted overlay of the 2014 crash with the current bear trend matches spot on. If it continues to play out it suggests a rally to ~12k before making new lows and eventually a nice round bottom before starting the next big bull run in 2019. Going to keep following this and will post updates. Happy trading!
$100,000 BTC by Jan 2019?If history is known to repeat itself, and as a wise trader once said "because it cannot be compared to any asset... except itself" I figured I would overlay BTC's candle formation from the crash commencing September 2017 and leading up to ATH -2.71% reached Dec 17, 2017. Let's see how this plays out.
XRP Price action overlayJust an interesting observation. While looking at the structure of a number of different "Alt" coins I started to see a pattern. Granted, markets move the way they do because of the actions of the participants- which are more often than not going to be similar to other participants. This is why fibs work, and why there is a known bubble cycle. People are predictable.
Case-in-point: This higher time frame bitcoin price action overlay onto the XRP (Ripple) 12hr chart. I've posted this in the chat a number of times in an effort to show others what seems to be a working road map, having been consistent now for months. I originally produced the overlay at the break of the symetrical triangle. The targets shown were drawn in PRIOR to the addition of the overlay, which shows a potential confirmation of the pattern target.
Take from this what you will.
