Nampak on par with the second target at R494.75Since the first target was reached, we then had a Trend traders haven.
Then we had a CUp and Handle form which broke above confirming upside.
The analysis turned into a high probability analysis with Price>20 and 200
The second target is therefore on par to R494.75
Paper
UPDATE: Nampak smooth sailing to the first target at R271.81W Formation formed on Nampak, and we waited for the break.
Then we got the price above 200MA.
Now it's already over half way towards the first target at R271.81.
Looks good and if one wants to lock in profits by moving the stop loss above breakeven, it's perfectly fine to do so.
Nampak huge upside to come after announcement to R271.81W Formation has confirmed and formed after the announcement they are leaving Nigeria.
This pumped up the price over 17% in a day.
However, high volatility is always a risky biscuit and big candles normally results in the counter candle.
So I'd wait for the price to break ABOVE the W Formation and for the price to break above the 200MA.
Then the nature will be HPT and the target will be around R271.81
UPDATE SAPPI Target reached at R56.60 - Omwards and UpwardsSAPPI has performed great since it broke above the Symmetrical Triangle,.
The analysis was done in February, it broke above the Apex and since then has rushed to its first target at R56.60.
No ways, is this worth a punt to the short side. We can now expect some sideways chop, possible pattern form and then will provide another buy signal.
What is the opposite of Timber!!!! ?
SAPPI looking shap! Target potential to R56.76Symmetrical Triangle seems to have formed on Sappi.
Now on the contrary of a Symmetrical Triangle being a Continuation pattern, it is possible for a reversal to take place in this instance.
We have the converging of the trendlines where the price has reached an apex. Strong buy divergences and price action to the up.
It's a bit premature to BUY just yet but I anticipate a breakour to the upside.
Then full steam ahead.
Other peripheral indicators confirm upside:
7>21>200
RSI>50 (Buy divergence)
Target R56.76
Weekly Rising Wedge On DXYThis looks to be bearish structure. Wanted to check against the community to ask for other opinions. Trend lines are valid.
Little more pump before the DXY drops off into the Low 80s?
Rsi indicated another pump to the top of the wedge, but I could see it falling through after that.

Mondi setting itself for amazing upside W Formation & Ascending Triangle has formed on the daily time frame.
There is an impenetrable resistance right now at R318.00.
Once we break above it, it could be a fantastic trade for upside.
Until then, we'll add it to our watching and waiting list.

MONDI looking great on paper to R330.00W Formation is forming clearly on the daily.
We need the price to close above and for the price to open above the breakout level.
There are mixed signs with indicators (but this is normal during a change in trend)
7>21 - Bullish
Price<200 - Bearish
We need the price to move above 200MA to ensure upside to come.
RSI>50 - Bullish
R330.00
SMC:
Below the W Formation, we see strong Sell Side Liquidity Order Blocks. This is where Smart Money has swept the selling from dumb money, bought into it and hence the price has pushed up.

The trend is still down and we will need the next formation to form before we decide what to do next.

Sappi's name is derived from its original name, South African Pulp and Paper Industries Limited. (Also think of SAP from a tree I guess).

Silver, You should dump your paper and buy some physicalOANDA:XAGUSD
Paper trading things like silver and gold are a total joke. You who trade paper shares are trading in mostly fake, extremely diluted, worthless shares. Your paper certificate is diluted somewhere on a ratio of 900 paper shares to every actual physical once of silver.
Soon enough, actual silver will decouple itself from these made up paper shares. When it decouples, physical silver will go through the roof, and the silver paper market will crash, because it will be no longer tied to silvers actual spot.
It is a massive risk to be involved in paper shares of anything that is diluted so much, its insane. Hard times are very close, the crash is right around the corner. Best invest in physical, or if not, be aware of the risks that come with the paper market. Also. To those using technical analysis on Silver or Gold.. It does not work so well, especially right now, because precious metals have too much reaction to financial instability and economic crisis.
I wish all a great day and to stay strong in the hard time that will come upon us all. Prayers. Strength and Unity.

Paper Index Weekly Relative StrengthThe weekly Paper Index has broken out of a bullish wedge formation while displaying a bullish divergence between price & the RSI indicator. Relative strength is beginning to develop against the SPX as well. This may be a good industry to scout for some alpha.
Looking at a short position on SAPJSE:SAP formed a bearish engulfing candle pattern yesterday which could signal a reversal. This seems to be whats happening at the moment.
For the lat couple of months it has been making lower lows quit regularly. If the price breaks through the latest lower low from the 16th of Jan, I will consider entering a short position.
Mondi Still Has More Downside To ComeMondi is a global leader in packaging and paper, delighting its customers and consumers with innovative and sustainable packaging and paper solutions. Mondi is fully integrated across the packaging and paper value chain - from managing forests and producing pulp, paper and plastic films, to developing and manufacturing effective industrial and consumer packaging solutions. Sustainability is embedded in everything Mondi does. In 2017, Mondi had revenues of EUR7.10 billion and underlying EBITDA of EUR1.44 billion. Mondi has a dual listed company structure, with a primary listing on the JSE Ltd. for Mondi Ltd. under the ticker MND, and a premium listing on the London Stock Exchange for Mondi plc, under the ticker MNDI. Mondi is a FTSE 100 constituent, and has been included in the FTSE4Good Index Series since 2008 and the FTSE/JSE Responsible Investment Index Series since 2007.
Technicals
The structure indicated on the chart above has broken to the downside. I expect further downside with possible reversal points at the 38.2%, 50% and 61.8% Fib retracement levels.
I will be looking at lower time frames for a confirmation structure in order to enter the short.
Happy trading!
