PayPal | PYPL | Long at $64.00From a technical analysis perspective, PayPal NASDAQ:PYPL is in the early stages of a potential downward trend reversal/stabilization based on my selected simple moving averages. With a current P/E of 15x, recent earnings beat, low debt, and earnings growth potential/estimates, PayPal is in a personal buy zone at $64.00.
Target #1 = $72.00
Target #2 = $85.00
Target #3 = $93.00
Target #4 = $117.00

Is PYPL ready for recovery?n the daily chart PYPL is at its six-month lows sitting on the support /demand zone after recent
earnings which were helpful in showing earnings and revenues holding up. Upside to resistance
is about 25%. The volume profile shows heavy volumes at both the current price and at $75
Any upward price action would likely experience volatility at $7 5 as that is where a large
a number of institutional traders are situated. This is also approximately where the mean long
term anchored VWAP is extending. The MACD indicator's lines have crossed under the histogram
which is now green and positive. They are approaching the horizontal zero line. Trading volumes
have increased since the last earnings and so shares are being accumulated which usually
results in prices rising gradually over time.
I see this as an excellent long trade setup targeting first $ 75 and then $87 just under the
resistance zone with a stop loss in or under the support.
PAYPAL - BUY OPPORTUNITY!!!Taking a BUY position on PAYPAL to SWING TP AREAS. Aim is to hold position for LONGTERM EQUITY growth as PAYPAL looks to establish its position from here for long-term growth with the launch of its new stable coin PYUSD as well as a newly assigned CEO.
THIS IS A LONGTERM SWING POSITION!

Is the PayPal bottom finally in? My bet is yes. After an excruciating 82%+ drawdown from all-time highs made 2 years ago, PayPal is finally showing some signs of bottoming action following the company's recent earnings report.
The new CEO Alex Chriss has got all of the right talking points and focused on the right areas of the business. The true growth areas of the company are still in question, but from a value stand-point the stock trades at some of the cheapest levels in the company's history.
From a technical perspective, the stock is holding the recent earnings gap up and is starting to form higher highs and higher lows on the daily. A breakout up and over this $59 area should bring a fresh wave of momentum buyers as the stock attempts to reverse its longer-term downtrend.
I recently acquired a long position for my longer-term investments portfolio and am looking for higher prices over the next several quarters and full year. (disclosure: long)
Paypal - Heading for a new bull phase?Paypal's stock price seems to be forming a nice bullish chartist pattern, a falling wedge, which has been going on since the beginning of the year. If resistance is broken, NASDAQ:PYPL could return to a nice uptrend, after numerous DCA buy points have been given by our " Magic Bands (PMB) " indicator.
Paypal - too cheap? PayPal's stock looks undervalued, trading at 6-year lows and a forward P/E ratio of 12.3, despite a strong Q1 performance with respectable transaction revenues, total payment volume, and growth in value-added services.
Operating expenses are well-managed, contributing to substantial growth in operating income and earnings per share, while consensus estimates suggest mid-to-high teens EPS compound annual growth rate.
Market concerns, such as PayPal's Q2 revenue guidance and increased competition, are offset by the Moderate Buy consensus rating, suggesting a 60.7% upside potential.
The involvement of activist investor Elliott Management and the potential sale of the cross-border payment unit, Xoom, signal strategic changes that could enhance PayPal's performance.
PayPal still rides the wave of the growth in e-commerce, with 12% payment volume increase in Q1 2023, and a rise in peer-to-peer transfers, demonstrating resilience in a challenging macroeconomic environment.
The fundamentals of this company have become detached from the share price, making this a long term buy and hold with hugely asymmetrical risk/return profile.
Shorter term, the move back to the highly developed Point of Control would represent over 20% growth, which I see as a high probability outcome within weeks.

Our profit targets will be 78.51 and 80.51

PayPal: Below Deck 🚢Paypal is currently following a downward trend below the resistance line at $93.52, where it should stay until the overarching wave II is completed within the grey target zone between $66.16 and $34.93. Thereupon, the course should turn back North and recover to continue its movement further above the $93.52-mark.
PYPL into the 100s. Forget about it.The SP500 runs into some resistance around 4260 to 4300.
Technically above 4200 is my supply zone but from how we are setting up / how far down some of these quality names got dumped
PYPL still has room to run into 112 to 116 this month
This trade is invalid if PYPL cannot hold 93.61 I would not be interested in that move
PYPL: Can Hedgie change fortunes?PayPal
Short Term - We look to Buy at 78.86 (stop at 71.88)
Activist hedge fund Elliot Management reported to have increased stake. Price jumped 6% in premarket. Although the bears are in control, the stalling negative momentum indicates a turnaround is possible. There is scope for mild selling at the open but losses should be limited. We look to buy dips. Further upside is expected.
Our profit targets will be 99.79 and 104.00

Support: 75.00 / 60.00 / 40.00

PYPL Buy OpportunityIf you haven`t sold PYPL ahead of earnings:
As much i as i don`t like to work with PayPal on my store due to their high commission fees, i like the October 2017 level of the stock on a P/E of 23.60.
I`m looking for a technical rebound to the $88 resistance.
Looking forward to read your opinion about it.
PAYPAL NEEDS CPR AND A QUICK RESURRECTION!I am holding bags in a position in paypal and boy did I screw up on this one... Well, the nice thing is that paypal is showing promise and some type of life again. It is breathing and looking to come back. Minor gains of 30% in 30 days is showing signs of promise and gains. Is this a long term hold for me?? Definitely not!! I don't want to tie up my money for 5 yrs only to see a mediocre gain with so much risk.. So once I hit 131 I'm pulling out of this horrible nasty dead stock. Watch my TA video for all the details and give me a thumbs up and subscribe if you like my honest transparent videos even the ones like this one which are not making me any money! LOL

PayPal (PYPL) | Possible Short-term Rejection AreaHi,
Why short-term? Yes, after you have made your analysis, you can start loading your long-term positions also from the shown area but to me, it looks like it stays there for a while. Despite that, possibly we can catch the first movements upwards.
Atm my scenario would be: bounce from the shown area to around +20 to +50% then back to around $100. For me, it isn't very logical that if we get a bounce then it would be the bottom. After such a huge slump the price needs to rest a bit but still, I would like to share this area for short-term investors.
Do your own analysis and invest cautiously!

Vaido
