GBPUSD have bottomed?Has GBPUSD bottomed? Price action suggest that it has. Since GBPUSD dropped to $1.036, higher lows pattern have formed WITH contracting pattern (tightening). From that pattern I drew a trendline.
Price broke the key moving averages confluenced with the trendline break. Currently price is retracing back to its mean 50/100/200 after testing several times the $1.163 level.
Actionable plan : wait for the price to test the key moving averages (keep it simple) and identify a rejection at those level and then Long.
*Rejection could be anything. but preferably confluenced with pocket pivot (blue bar or green bar at volume indicator)

5 day pocket pivot USDCADI also believe a 5-day pocket pivot works well as well.
Rules on how I implement it is the same as the 10 day pocket pivot. Preferably near Resistance/Support area and inside a flat base.
When it confluences with other well known patterns, then the probability of the setup to work really well is very high.
Pocket Pivots : USDJPYOne of the many continuation plays we can implement in a rally is pocket pivots.
Pocket pivots is the current up day’s volume must be larger than any of the down volume days in the prior 10 days.
Ideally pocket pivots occur 'before' the traditional buy signal to occur such as breakouts.
In the chart examples, the first one is pocket pivot occur confluenced a bullish reversal pattern I personally call railroad due to its similar-ish size of the candlestick's body. Thats an ENTRY; signal
The second example is pocket pivot occur inside a flat base. ENTRY; is at the open of the next day's candle, before the actual breakout of the base.
AGCO : several ways 5 and 10 candle pocket pivotAlways wait for a correction after price broke the 100 and 200ema but also make sure theres a base to work from AND pocket pivot occur (5 candle or 10 candle pocket pivot).
I always prefer to enter a trade before the breakout happen but sometimes pocket pivot won't occur until a breakout happen.
Buying before the breakout : Pocket PivotABC is a company with good accelarated Earnings and good margins. The company is identified as tradeable via fundamental analysis/funadmental screening.
Now whats left is when to get it.
I wait for the price to break the 100-200 ema ribbon and make some kind of base/price structure around the area and see if there is a pocket pivot around/inside the base. Preferably before a breakout of the base (if a breakout candle coincide with a pocket pivot, thats okay too)

$ZGN an IPO coming up on the right side of its base!Notes:
* Coming up on the right side of its IPO base
* Has been using its 50 day line as a dynamic level of support
