PRU
The wedge will be broke to the upside?I just discover PRU and they seem to me like a promising opportunity.
The company has currently a fair PE of 9.5. A positive sales and earnings per share growth during the last 5 years. A debt/equity under 1, institutional ownership over 60% and positive insider transactions.
They also have an active presence in social networks and a decent amount of followers.
From my point of view, the stock will continue revaluing. The price is recovering and the resistance wedge will be broke to the upside. There will be maybe a retest over the wedge and the price will continue ascending. The historical maximum will be tested and probably won by the bullish trend, going from here toward higher prices before a correction.
Best regards.
PRU and their LinesWARNING:
This is Probably crazy enough to Work
A ) When the yellow line is descending or ascending, and the strong trend line (White Line) is rising, and the bottom dollar trend line(Green Line) is rising, if the green line passes the middle White line first, it followed the red arrow.
B ) When the yellow white and red lines are ascending, and the middle white line crosses with the yellow line... It followed the green arrow.
I went back to similar movements, and mapped out similar lines, with similar time lines.
I know it's weird, but
I like to draw lines on charts.
Sometimes I don't even know what the company does.. But their lines talk to me
PRU.ASX Entering Impulse Wave 3PRU has just finished a minor correction wave and a major wave 2. Price Action has caught up at the 50 daily MA but still looks to have a good deal of strength to be able to cross it. Looking back at wave 1 the move is playing out similarly where it was at about halfway point of the move that after a stall the price jumped. I’m not tipping a price jump here, but it’s good to see that this is normal so far. I would count confirmation of wave 1 at least by the crossing of the 50MA. The completion of the move will be the peak of wave 5 of the previous impulse.
It’s important to remember that wave 3 is generally the strongest part of the impulse wave, so the real move to get on board with to minimise risk will be to wait for confirmation of the completion of wave 1 which is the peak of wave 5. Wait for a consolidation and a regression of price for wave 2 to finish. I’ve not shown it here, but the regression of major wave to relative to major wave 1 is a regression to the 0.66 fib level, so the same rough measure could be applied. Now this will then be minor wave 3 of major wave 3 so you could expect a good push out of this if the Elliot wave is correct framework.
Pair Trading Idea JPM/PRUApplying some of the most popular indicators on the pair JPM/PRU shows an interesting pattern. While PRU NYSE:PRU has been clearly outperforming JPM JPM since several weeks, a trend reversal seems to occur. JPM might catch up in the coming days and weeks. The daily and the weekly RSI (1st indicator at the top "Ultimate RSI Multi Timeframe"), the Wave Trend Oscillator (2nd one) and the ultimate MACD oscillator (3rd one from the top) reversed recently from their lower ranges. The Squeeze Momentum Indicator (at the bottom) shows a nice divergence, which is also observable on the RSI.
The price action confirmed the reversal in the last days. The setup is worth being given a shot: Short PRU, Long JPM. The strategy is market-neutral and is profitable when JPM starts to outperform PRU.
