Sell 2x 2/28 6500P for 0.0430 ($315)
Buy 1x 2/28 7000P for 0.0700 ($510)
Net Credit: 0.0160 ($120)
Max Profit (if pinned @ 6500): Approximately 0.0850 ($620)
Margin Requirements: 0.2700 ($1975) due to Deribit not having complex orders
Break Even: $5,880
This is a neutral to bullish trade. Anything above 7000 and profits are capped at the credit received. Max profit is actually achieved if I am wrong directionally and we dump to 6500.
Adds some positive portfolio delta and brings in about $4.55 of positive daily theta.
If we see a strong move to the upside, I will look to buy a 6000P for less than the credit I received for the trade which will cut into profit potential but also remove all risk from the trade turning it into a free butterfly spread.
Any price action within the body (6000-7000) I will sit tight and let theta decay work in my favor. Would close out trade at 25% max profit (0.02125/$155).
This is a fairly high probability trade but will likely take a bit of time before showing decent profit. Expected move for this cycle is about +/- $1,350 so this can stay profitable even if we see a full move to downside. Will likely close out though if we see 6k breached.
SOXX - Further Weakness - Short Setup Semi-conductors are looking a bit precarious at this point, as you can see we appear to be in a serious of lower lows and lower highs, this is compounded by the falling momentum in the market as a whole.
This coupled with overall weak internals lead me to believe that further weakness is not out of the question, particularly if the price action is unable to break above the upper descending trendline.
Should the price fail at the upper trend, then a visit to the 55 ema or even the 89 ema is quite likely.
This would constitute a move lower of up to 5%.
*This trade setup is entirely dependent upon the price NOT breaking above this upper trendline.

GE Short Setup - 1:4 Risk to Reward / RISKYGE daily chart shows weakness. I am expecting a pullback to $10.50. I can buy some puts for this. However there's no reversal signal yet. If I wait for a confirmation, the risk to reward will be less. I have decided to buy the risk.
GE SHORT TRADE SETUP
Entry: 11.39
Stop-Loss: 11.60 (0.21)
Take-Profit: 10.56 (0.83)
Risk to reward: 1:3.95
Winning probability: Less than 40%
NOTE: I am not very comfortable with the stop-loss. During the trade, i can move it up to 1:2 Risk to reward. That's why I'm not going to risk more than 1% of my account.

SBAC Put Spread$3.99 Option Cost EXP October 18, this is a rather expensive trade I normally wouldn't pay this much for an option my general rule is $1.3-1.6 for a 3 week option per $5 width but I'll go for it since I bought it while it was into the money.
250/240 Put Spread Target is $7 profit at sale which is $300 profit at target
Max loss is $300 if it reverses.
