This may have been a Dead Cat Bounce on the NASDAQ:QQQ and AMEX:SPY friends.
GAP fills in both names lead to Bear Flag Breakdowns which in my mind leads to the next leg down.
Rejecting 200DMA on the NASDAQ:QQQ and losing control on the AMEX:SPY
Markets are hanging on slightly, lets see what happens the rest of the week.

We keep rejecting off the H5_S by wicking off it, which is bearish, but all other indicator show bullishness...

QQQ Technical Short OpportunityTechnical SHORT opportunity in QQQ:
1. QQQ failed to fill gap from Friday. Very weak upward progression over the last 4 days
2. Thursday’s candle is a “bearish hanging man”
3. The last bearish wave retraced 66% of the prior upward move
4. There have been multiple tests of immediate support level (495-498)
5. QQQ has been weaker than S&P over the past 5 days
Profit target can be placed near the high-volume node at 488
Please note that the long-term trend remains “bullish,” and a short-term downside auction does not indicate an immediate reversal.

$QQQ to bottom sub $250?QQQ had an impressive run, however, that run is now over and it's time to look at shorting this thing back into the ground.
As you can see, momentum has already flipped negative w/ the first red weekly heikin ashi candle.
I expect a sharp pullback here into the election and I think we'll bottom under the $250 sometime before the end of the year.
