Retailers
New Age Retail: Comparison Not that I know these brands super well, but it's awesome to see retail expanding beyond brick and mortar, each of these is now worth $1B+.
Interesting to note, NASDAQ:REAL 's market cap just exploded (after the IPO equity lockup expired... went from below $200M to $1B+... the stock didn't react.
Massmart setting up for a move higher? $JSEMSMMassmart has been a serious under-performer in the retail sector this year, shedding some 37% off its levels seen at the end of last year. With the SARB likely to cut interest rates at their meeting next week, perhaps this will be a little kicker for consumers which should benefit most of our local retailers. The share may be just a little too oversold for the time being, and should we manage to break out this box between R61.50 to R67.60, we could see the counter make a counter trend rally up into the R77 - R80 range. This level of R80.00 was previously significant horizontal support which could now turn into resistance if we get there. What makes this R80 level more significant is the fact that this also coincides with a major downtrend which has been in place since the highs in March 18, which the stock has battled to overcome on 4 prior tests. The RSI indicator on the daily is also making higher lows, notwithstanding price which has gone sideways which further adds conviction to my bullish call in the short term. I would take my bets on a rally from current levels up to R77-R80, and perhaps if we do see that level it could be a great area to reverse the position short.
$J537 - JSE General Retailers Index reversing off channel res.J537 - The index that tracks the general retails on our market is busy respecting and reversing off this downtrend and channel resistance which has been in place since the index topped in March 2018. Of course the election outcome could be a catalyst for a further reversal or break, but nevertheless, an important level to monitor in this chart to determine the future direction of our retail stocks.
Dear Holders, I Love $NCASH but...I really love the idea of Nucleus Vision, but to be honest with 10 billion supply, it won't really work until one day mass adoption coming. Because we need a stabilize the environment above all else so it can work just like our traditional currency right now. Nucleus Vision basically not bad as one of low sats because it is successfully listed on big exchanges like Huobi, Zebpay and of course, Binance. Looking forward for more.
But if you are only lookin for trade idea to be here, then these what you will get:
1. Low sats like NCASH quite affected by BTC price which they will dumped easily and pumped easily. Because the psychology behind low sats is it look cheap. So for both retailers and whale is almost the same unless you have another factor to consider on.
2. The RSI level for short term is a retracement from recent dead cat bounce, so i seek further dump as people realize that what happened towards BTC price at the current status quo due to Mt.Gox creditors meetup. But ETF acceptance will be a positive one.
3. The current price is on the range of lowest support of all time which means, the R:R quite tempting to hold but, considering the risk, it's also quite risky because probably it can make a lower low.
I just drew my supports and resistance line which you can follow. NCASH is on my watch list.
Taking Another Stab at RetailersRetailers have been good to me over the last year and a half. It shouldn't come as a surprise that I've found solace in the retail space given my investment style. I like to find best of breeds in the most beaten down industries in the markets. BGFV is one of those. The company has increased nearly all margins over the last three years while increasing ROA, ROE, and ROC.
Detailed post will be coming on the blog this week.
I entered a starting position as price seemed to hold support at this current level. Will be looking to add as long as price advances my way.
As always, let me know if you disagree and let me know what you think I'm not seeing.
Always trying to improve,
