Putting Risk Reward into PerspectiveMost newbies, and even intermediate traders don't really understand what high risk to reward trades require from themselves and from the market. They think it is something to strive for, and that high RR trades are reserved for the pros. This is far from the truth.
In this video I try to give more perspective to this concept.

RRR
RRR setting up for a massive profit run?I have several time frames I have charted for this going over everything I see. RRR is red rock resorts in Las vegas nevada, and both my fav casino which is off strip about 15 mins and one of my fav stocks to play.
I am huge on wyckoff , demand and supply, volume tracking, price targets based off the prior, and control box master pattern targets ideologies.... I also have my ESVO lines or ribbon that also encompasses volume and price. Combining all of these things paints a picture across all time lines and when they match up its set to run!
I have used this same TA on my AAPL, ENPH (up and down), AIG, GNRC, Li, IOT, Bili, TRKA, & PSNY, option plays. I enjoy looking far out to see what the end result is going to be and then aligning all the time frames to optimize the in and out. a lot of times when you look at larger time frames you are caught in the up and down which can mess up your theta on an option play. So thats why in this trade I am aligning all the time frames. the only one left is the 15 min time frame. which I will post an update to this when I finish this post.
Do me a favor if you find any of my info intriguing pls hit the boost so others can see it.

Bullish Swing On EURCHFEIGHTCAP:EURCHF
We have a nice reversal setting-up on EURCHF so I'm watching for price to possibly pierce a previous swing low, which is at ATR and the bottom of the wedge, and ideally close as an SFP.
My target will be today's ATR hight to close the position before the weekend.
Enjoy,

How To Have An Edge Over The Markets 📚Hello TradingView Family / Fellow Traders. This is Richard, also known as theSignalyst.
Today I want to share a basic trading plan that you can follow to quantify your trading edge.
📌 Step 1:
First, start from the higher timeframes like Daily/Weekly to identify the current long-term trend. is it bullish, bearish or stuck inside a range?
If the price is sitting in the middle of nowhere, then it is a NO trade zone as price has 50% change to go either up or down. Thus no edge!
📚 Wait for the price to approach the lower bound or upper bound. Then proceed to Step 2
📌 Step 2:
No matter how strong a horizontal / non-horizontal support or resistance is, it can still be broken. Thus don't buy/sell blindly as price approaches a support/resistance.
Instead, zoom in to lower timeframes like H1 and M30 to look for setups.
🏹A basic approach would be to wait for a swing low to be broken downward around a resistance as a signal that the bears are taking over.
In parallel, wait for a swing high to be broken upward around a suppor t for the bulls to take over.
This would be the confirmation to enter the trade.
Of course, your second edge would be through risk management by targeting at least double than your indented risk.
But that's a topic for another post 😉
Always follow your trading plan regarding entry, risk management, and trade management.
Hope you find the content of this post useful 🙏

Measure Reward-to-Risk Ratio (RRR)
key Takeaways
1. The risk/reward ratio is used by traders and investors to manage their capital and risk of loss.
2. The ratio helps assess the expected return and risk of a given trade.
3. An appropriate risk reward ratio tends to be anything greater than 1:3.
How to Measure Reward-to-Risk (RRR) ?
1. Evaluate the potential price levels for your stop loss (SL) and profit target (PT)
2. Measure the distance between your entry and your stop loss (SL). This is your “Potential Risk“.
3. Measure the distance between your entry and your profit target (PT). This is your “Potential Reward“.
4. Divide the two: Potential Reward / Potential Risk.
RRR Calculation
1. Potential Risk = 66.24 - 63.73 = 2.51
2. Potential Reward = 63.73 - 54.97 = 8.76
3. RRR = Potential Reward / Potential Risk = 8.76/2.51 = 3.49
RRR CYCLE POP already started on the .80 gapThis is at the end of a cycle and a test to the cloud has already started. It will either touchback to the cloud and consolidate then take off.
Or it will fail and reaccumulate and retest as early as Tuesday
Option calls are around 1.65 at this level. For aug17th
Cycle pop has already been confirmed with the gap up of .80 this morning. Now it’s just a matter of if absorption was complete and they own enough of the float and if retail is on the right side of the fence to see this thing go

Higher RRR, the higher the chances of profit & consecutive lossLower RRR = Low drawdowns (Lower consecutive losers)
Higher RRR = High drawdowns (Higher consecutive losers)
To not go against the prop firm's drawdown rule of > 10% rule, You should risk..
risk per trade = 10/consecutive loser
Example.
risk per trade = 10/7 = 1.4285%
So you should risk < 1.4285% per trade.

eBay at key channel support Technical Analysis
Since the start of the year, eBay has trended up in a clear channel, where the support line is the 100sma.
Since the test of the upper trend-line of the channel, eBay has retraced 10% and is sitting on the 100sma.
Stochastic RSI has been helpful to signal retracement from one side of the channel to the other. When the SRSI is oversold (under 20) and the %K (blue) goes over %D (orange), it has been a great entry. On the other hand, when the SRSI is overbought and the %D crosses above the %K, it has been a place to take profits. The SRSI cross signal has not happened.
Trade Setup
Risk-reward-ratio is fantastic, with a stop under the 100sma (Average True Range is 2.12 pts.) and a profit-exit at the top of the channel.
EURCHF: Catching Opportunities ExplainedIn this detailed video, I explain my methodology of looking into the market to catch smart trades with an approach on RRR (Risk to Reward Ratio).
My strategy is suitable for intraday and swing traders as these trades tend to exceed 12 hours to reach the targeted profit.
That's it, now sit back enjoy the show

QQQ at range bottomThe QQQ is testing the bottom of its range.
Stochastic RSI has been helpful to signal a bottom, once %K goes above %D while testing the bottoms range.
There is also a horizontal support line from the last week of June, which was a breakout to all-time highs.
Risk-reward-ratio is great placing a stop below yesterday's low, and a profit0exit at the top of the range.
RRR Red Rock Resorts LLC in vegas showing DIvergenceOne of my fav stocks plays a lot like HD homedepot but only moves about 1/4 as much. Cost is more like 1/7th though and never really comes down past the mean. If it shows divergence on a daily my mouth waters.
If you are looking an easy option play to test the market this is a solid in my book. Strike @ $35 although it should easily go higher with about 25 days to move.

AUDUSD, Short Opportunity. 1:5+ available.Good morning everyone,
A nice opportunity setting up on AUDUSD.
Price is showing a clear AMD model going into the Daily/Weekly Bearish Orderblock after breaking to the top side of the H4 range.
On the H1 chart, we see a clear break in the bullish market structure indicating a potential reversal short soon.
I've got quite a large SL on this trade idea; however, personally I've got a stop above the highs of Asia (10 pips approx as opposed to 20)
Feel free to do the same; however, there is a chance price can stop hunt above these highs before the reversal.
The targets to the downside are clear and defined.
Let's see what happens.
USDCHF, Reversal Imminent! LONG 1:10 +Good morning ladies & gents,
Following on from our USDCHF short idea, price has now traded back into our D1 Bullish Orderblock.
From this area, I'm looking to look for a reversal to the upside.
The market has NOT shown signs of breaking down yet on the lowertimeframes, so these boxes don't highlight my entry point. What they highlight is areas where you can take profit when the long setup presents itself.
When I enter, I'll be adding it in the comment section below so remember to follow this idea so you get notified upon our entry.
It's possible for price to trade lower from here and hit our D1 Propulsion Block. IF price trades down to this level, the setup for a long will be super high probability and the risk to reward can be astronomical depending on the size of the stop loss as per the market structure.
I will give my updates and thought as USDCHF matures and progresses.
Good luck guys!
USDCAD: 2 Options, 1 Result !On USDCAD, bullish scenarios are more likely to have place in the next few days:
Scenario 1: The upper trendline is valid and the price is sitting around a support so if it breaks it upward, a Long position can be entered.
Scenario 2: A less risky possibility could be that the price will dive in the zone one last time before breaking the upper trendline for good. A better RRR can be reached with this one.
Trade Safe and Best of Luck

On the road near to 30?Most of the last days in marked zone silver closed higher low and bounce back in to range. The result is not the most beautiful ascending triangle but still is nice :D
Mid term up trend plus this bullish pattern gives us positive RRR.
Dollar DXY is for now below 92 STRONG RESISTANCE and if it stays there it will add in our trade some favour.
RSI is arround 50 so there is lots of space.
Set up is clear and exactly according to the FIBO zone BUY LIMIT 26 or market. I'm aiming for target price 28 which act as a resistance.Stop loss 24.877
This trade is for couple days 7-14 expectacion.
Comment if you are also looking long there :D
