AUDJPY Trade OpinionActually, the news from the RBA Gov Lowe does not mention the economy nor monetary policy in his speech. RBA Gov Lowe is still confident consumers will spend more. Australian weekly consumer confidence rises to 109.0 this week from 108.1 the previous. China's inflation data for November were better than expected but cpi had good changes more than PPI. Things weren't too bad from Australia's side but the yen is taking over against the Aussie so far which seems fishy but talking about the yellow metal it is gaining upward momentum after the deep fall last time. Safe havens are acting shady at the moment. Ahead this week, there are event risks including the FOMC Wednesday and tariff announcement due from the US on Sunday. If those are what market players fear about maybe risk appetite have dropped lower which is helping the safe havens and we should be taking care of this risk sentiment to be either positive or negative throughout the week which should make things easier to predict the direction for this cross pair.

Gold: Recap from NovemberHi Guys,
the situation is the following.
On Nov.7h Gold breached support at 1479/80 (light blue bold horizontal line). The break was favoured by a big Gap-Up in US stocks, prompted by growing optimism in respect of US-China Trade Deal as detailed in the following idea posted on Nov.9th (Tradingview did not allow for this idea to be public because timeframe is 5 minutes).
If it was for me all ideas should be public regardless timeframe.
Apex of this optimism was reached when news came out about U.S. willingness to lift tariffs.
When Trump said the reports were incorrect, optimism stumbled for support and formed (B). From (B) Gold retraced 0,382 Fibonacci of AB to make (C).
BC may have been a Bear Rally but under these circumstances I am not 100% convinced it can be called so.
At (C), test of support become resistance, the 100SMA pushed price down again towards (B). Such push from the 100SMA represents the "Bearish Pressure". Same "Bearish Pressure" that was defeated when pulling back from (D).
Click & Play the above to see how the rounding bottom forming (D) unfolds.
(D) is a rounding bottom at same level of (B). Such structure provides a nice support for bulls to try to attack the descending "Bearish Pressure". Infact price pullback from (D) and breaks the 100SMA to run into 200SMA on the upper band of the 100BB at 1479/80 as detailed in the following Public post:
I really liked the idea of a CUP & HANDLE (Gold likes it too) but good NFP above expectation boosted optimism on US economy and pushed Gold price down. I am not labelling the circled area because I don't know what it could be yet. If you have any idea please share it in the comments.
TO NOTE: RSI primary chart modified to follow price moves above & below 100SMA. This shows that sentiment returned positive before NFP. NFP pushed sentiment back into bearish territory. Gold price is still above double bottom which provides support.
The following ideas may help to make some planning:

GOLD vs SILVER vs GOLD/SILVER RATIOHi Guys,
just some infos.
Following surprising NFP datas today, silver has fallen below B whilst Gold/Silver ratio has run above.
Gold instead remains above B.
Does it mean that Gold will soon follow Silver? I don't know...I am asking. Lol
Here a link to the explanation provided by Investopedia in respect of the Gold/Silver Ratio: www.investopedia.com

GOLD: what if...Hi Guys,
uncertainties over a US China Trade Deal by year end formed a double bottom in divergence with RSI that favoured the pullback from D into descending 200SMA and on upper band of the 100BB. To note that this encounter between BB and SMA occurred when sentiment was overbought.
A similar formation occurred few weeks ago when B was forming. Here the idea posted at the time:
The pullback from B retraced 0,382 Fibo of AB before receiving the push down by the 100SMA to from D. Is the 200SMA pushing the same? Or will price manage to break through towards E(D) into descending trendline?
If the latter was going to happen, and that is a CUP & Handle, a good opportunity may be when handle breakout. But, it may not be that easy to position with adequate stops as a 200SMA keeping price down is very strong.
TO NOTE. NFP will be released today.

GOLD: US vs China trade war TimelineHi Guys,
I had this idea from Reutres as today they published an article with a nice SPX chart with a timeline of the US-China Trade War. For easy reference please find below the article.
www.reuters.com
To note how trade news impact both markets in a short-medium terms whilst on longer terms other factors IMHO have a much bigger impact i.e. monetary policies and fiscal policies.

GOLD vs USD/JPY: ALERT - FLASH CRASH 2020Hi Guys,
there is a huge divergece between these two charts and maybe the start of the new year is a good moment to make an adjustment.
Gold made a strong move above A.
USD/JPY did not.
Is it possible for USD/JPY to fall below 100?
What could cause such a move?
What happens if it is not a flash crash but it is prolonged?
What would happen to Nikkei and Japanese economy?
If Gold keeps moving higher, will USD/JPY move finally towards A and maybe cross below 100?
Can this all happen in a FLASH CRASH?
What if it happens to Gold instead?
Just for easy reference here a link to a video on Youtube in respect of 2019 Jan Flash Crash.

GOLD vs USD/JPY: inverted correlationsHi Guys,
this is rough structure based on the daily chart. If Gold moves up, USD/JPY move down, If Gold makes a bottom or a top, USD/JPY makes the opposite.
Tops and bottoms are formed but not at the same time. Moves goes in the opposite direction but they have different lenght and magnitude.
Sometime, not always, it is possible to understand which one is moving first and spot opportunities in the other market.
Here below weekly charts:

Gold: where are the opportunities?Hi Guys,
it was on Aug.12 when I posted the following chart and Gold was at 1495 running into 1560:
Fear of tariffs and worries over deterioration of US-China negotiations drove that run.
Today those worries are creeping in again at 1445, and this is what stopped Gold at B.
As far as the main Daily Chart of this post is concerned, to note that from 2 price commenced a correction inside a TR with the shape of a flag with lower point at B (1445), retracing 0.382 fibo of the Bull Run (1->2).
Click & Play the followings to watch how price moves compared to structures:
Questions:
1) Can the retracement of bull run (1-2) be extended into 200SMA?
2) If yes, how why and when?
3) Can the pullback from B be extended?
4) If yes, how why and when?
3) Disregarding directions, where are the opportunities?

CADJPY Might Attempt A Move Upwards To Around 84.000 Area!Hello Viewers, this is an instant trade signal! Therefore, please have a look at the main chart for the following vital trade details:
• ENTRY POINT
• STOP LOSS
• TAKE PROFIT
• RISK TO REWARD
The setup may look simple but I can assure you it is NOT. There are various in depth technical and fundamental analysis incorporated behind the execution. I would very much love to explain these two aspects here but doing that would consume ample amount of time which could affect the appropriate entry point behind this trade! So, to keep it simple the main chart just displays the simplified technical view of this trade.
My way of performing technical analysis basically starts by breaking down the monthly Timeframe down until the One Hour charts. The following are the aspects I focus most on when performing technical analysis:
• Draw Support & Resistance through key common psychological levels on M & W Charts. This helps me to see where the price might stall or breakout.
• Draw Trendlines to determine the dynamic support and resistance levels present on the charts. This helps me to determine where the price might stall and most importantly help determine the path of least resistance behind the active trade.
• I also tend to use EMA 50 on all the Timeframes. This EMA 50 is proficiently proven to act as dynamic support and resistance and is vital behind all my analysis.
• Lastly, I tend to use classic pivot levels to determine my entry, stop loss and take profit levels. The combination of this and all of the above helps me determine the precise and likely trade targets behind the setup.
Another aspect of my way of analysis is reading a lot of news to determine the fundamental aspects affecting any trade. After the technical analysis is performed, I tend to match if the fundamental aspect really supports my technical analysis.
Therefore, as you could see, putting all my thoughts here would surely take up a lot of time which could make the price drift away from the entry price thus affecting the Risk to reward ratio. I understand it is vital for many of you to know the details behind this trade setup, and so if you are interested you could send me message and I will try to share most of what I can!
The Above words are just template I use in all my trades. Shall there be any updates I will provide them here. Thank you

With the 4H MA200 (orange) however limiting its upside to 1,500, we are setting a 1,490 Target on this bullish leg. You may also check the 4H RSI for taking profit, a 72.30 value marks the top.

ORBEX: Risk Sentiment Up On Trade Negotiations Impasse In today’s #marketinsights video recording, I talk about #crude #oil and #gold.
WTI moved higher yesterday on a surprise #API draw, whereas gold, although would be expected to move down against oil, also moved up on the back of the latest trade negotiations impasse.
With the market's appetite shifting to rollbacks but not getting the response they want from the US, gold could move a tad higher. But technicals see the upside limited to a correction.

USD/JPY: another divergenceHi Guys,
I am posting this structure in order to understand if there is an opportunity to trade the continuation of the run into the descending trendline.
If the pair makes such a move, IMHO, Gold may be bearish for a while as the two markets are inversely correlated due to their safehaven status.
To note RSI set at 7 (not 14) in order to follow 17MA inside upper and lower band of the bollinger.
If you have any questions or comment to add please do not hesitate to post it.

Gold: there is a divergenceHi Guys,
the above chart is providing a structure within the context of SPX and US-China trade deal.
Gold pulling back following Reuters' news
Following what happened in the last few days based on growing optimism iro US-China trade deal, here is the link to an article published by Reuters today on the subject. (www.reuters.com)
The vertical grey line is when I posted the same chart yesterday morning. If you click & play the following, you will end up looking at the same structure.
To note: RSI lows are in divergence with 3 to b. RSI makes a low higher then b right when Trump tells to journalist that he had not agreed to roll back tariffs.
Technically the short term structure may suggest a pullback into descending SMA but in order for it to happen, optimism must fade away otherwise please note that Friday closed below 3, which, IMHO is very bearish.
IMHO the question is: the RISK-ON mood that was triggered last Thursday is still ON or is already feading?

Gold: some infosHi Guys,
following the idea posted yesterday, Gold broke out the distribution period to make a low at n.3 lower then n.2 and complete the Zig-Zag.
Yesterday's bullish opening of the stock market prompted Gold bearish move into n.3.
Growing optimism in respect of US-China Trade Deal is favouring a Risk-On mood despite lot's of issues are still pending. However, the rolling back of tariffs is the latest sign of progress.
As fas as the above chart is concerned please refer to yesterday's post to appreciate the 200SMA pushing down into n.2 for the breach of 1480 level (violed dotted line).
Gold stopped at 3 to pullback during night time (after US markets closed). However it fell again this morning just after 9:00 (European Time) o'clock.
Another period of distribution into descending 116SMA may be a possibility like it happened after n.2 was made.
However it could still keep falling from A (red) towards n.3 or below if stock markets increase their gains.
Please note that RSI is adjusted at 47 in order to follow below 116SMA.
AToW sentiment remains into bearish territory below 50line.
Latest candlesticks on Daily and Weekly structures looks bearish to me:

XAUUSD (Gravy Train)Rough sketch but you get the picture. I'm fairly new to trading so I'm not sure of all the fancy wave names and the technical nomenclature but this is what the chart is saying to me. I'm just listening to what its saying (or moreso what I see). It's damn a near flip flop of how the directional trend got started.
Lets eat. Amen.
GOLD ProjectionsIn an overall uptrend (daily chart), gold has begun to form a descending wedge which in and of itself is also a bullish indicator (price has been in decline since Sept 04's high). To go along with the observed uptrend, I fully believe that XAUUSD will continue its rise into the winter after retracing down to the bottom of the trending line. Some speculate that the action will continue to push downward however, from my analysis there's not indication of such a move happening. Now, if the price point happens to break below $1410, then we have a completely different ball game.
