Samsung
Samsung Electronics Bearish TrendSamsung entered the bear trend.
There is not much to say. Today's Korean news reported few positive news about Samsung's revenue. Especially QLED and DDR RAM sales increased tremendously. However the chart clearly shows the market is in middle of bear market.
It is best to wait during consolidation period and looking forward to break resistance or support of the trend line.
LG Display / LPL - Undervalued gemP/E of around 5 and dividend yield at 2%, $8.21b Mcap and revenue of $25.7b. Total cash $3.13b or 4.4 bucks per stock, 15% dividend payout, P/B 0.56. Great, modern product in high demand. Read that few times, double-checked it and decided it is a great addition to the portfolio.
Now, the recent news, it was supposed to take-over Samsung's deal for construction of OLED screens for new iPhones, however it fell short and couldn't quite deliver the amount of screens necessary which made AAPL reconsider this deal, bad news - yes, however it never really jumped significantly when the first news of the collaboration came out, so really not much of the hope was priced it. Secondly, it posted first Q loss since 2016...and back then the prices fell to historic supports I think we will see again.
In other news they expect increase in demand and stabilization in material costs so the outlook is bright and their OLED is something market looks forward to massively adopt in their homes, therefore I will be patient and look to enter when this slide reaches critical supports. Keep in mind the fundamentals from the first paragraph and it will all makes sense.
To be continued...
ICX - 200% in 38 days - Really high possibilityHello,
I'm sure you've heard the partnership news with ICX and Line, as well as Samsung pay.
Right now ICX is undervalued compared to other top 10 coins such as EOS. I'm expecting that ICX will hit 200% profit within a month from now. Target is indicated in the chart.

BUY Samsung at market (866.50)Today South Korea's Constitutional Court removed President Park Geun-hye from office over a graft scandal involving the country's conglomerates. Park becomes South Korea's first democratically elected leader to be forced from office, capping months of paralysis and turmoil over a corruption scandal that also landed the head of the Samsung conglomerate in jail. (Reuturs source)
So why buy Samsung?
"The prospect of a new president in the first half of this year instead of prolonged uncertainty will buoy domestic demand as well as the markets" said Trinh Nguyen, senior economist at Natixis in Hong Kong.
"The hope is that this will allow the country to have a new leader that can address long-standing challenges such as labor market reforms and escalated geopolitical tensions," he said.
So a new brush for South Korea to sweep away uncertainty and corruption. This can only help the markets and South Korea's biggest company - we recommend BUYING Samsung.
SSNLF - SAMSUNG: EXPECTING A BREAKOUT TO THE UPSIDE ON DAILYSamsung is in the middle of a long term correction. I see 2 possible scenarios on daily chart, in both cases with a breakout to the upside. Let's see if we can break the upper channel with this move or if we have a shorting setup from the top.
APPLE SOARS, SAMSUNG SINKSApple’s latest success, the iPhone 6, only hit the markets on Sept. 19, but its stellar performance preceded it by several months.
Apple resumed its uptrend back in May and marked record highs in September. Meanwhile, its cost-cutting phone rival, Samsung dug deeper to over two-year lows. There is little reason to expect these two stocks to change their trajectories.
Technicians surely noticed the sideways phase in which Apple was stuck in the first quarter. Following its split in April, the famed stock exploded higher and never looked back. The breakout from the sideways market confirmed the formation of a bullish pennant; Apple reached the target of this bullish continuation formation in September.
Apple and Samsung moved fairly similarly between June 2013 and June 2014. Since then, Apple marched higher, while Samsung accelerated losses. This divergent behavior has suggested putting on a spread of long Apple and short Samsung. This spread is trading at around $100.
After muscling its way up to record highs, Apple has been consolidating. It remains strong since breaking the top of its rising channel in July. A special Fibonacci method suggests a target of 109 and this target coincides with the extrapolation of half of its rising channel.
The Opportunity's Blackberry "BBRY" Could Be Capitalizing On. I believe, fundamentally, that blackberry is undervalued at its current share price and this is why. Initially that had a hard time keeping up with the competition, and lets face it the Z10 and the Playbook were both major flops. But a business can, and should use its failures to its advantage, and use it to tweak their business model which is what BB seems to be doing.
They have come to the understanding that, "Maybe we can't keep up with Apple in the consumer market, but we're still holding up the business world, why don't we capitalize on that"; which is exactly what they are doing. With their new product the "Passport" which was announced earlier this week, they have created a device that is is targeted to people in the business world. They have adapted their business model to suit their target audience, rather than fighting to hold a weak position in the consumer market.
Another huge asset that BB has, that many others are unaware of, is their secure network that is completely "off the grid". Any sensitive information is inaccessible to the outside world for hackers to obtain. Apple boasts about their security, yet hundreds of celebrities icloud accounts were hacked simultaneously earlier this month, while their private information was published to the web.
On top of that Apples new "IOS 8" operating system has had major issues, and the latest iphone has had several reports of bending in peoples pockets. Blackberry has a window to capitalize on the mistakes of apple, but its closing. Remember when Samsung mocked apple during the iphone 5 release, for their gimmicky marketing tactics, when Samsung introduced the Galaxy s3? That campaign alone allowed them to steal a huge market share from Apple.
I strongly believe BBRY's next earnings report will be in the green. There is no reason why the Passport should flop, unless there is a catastrophic failure that has yet to be found, which is unlikely. By narrowing their target audience, they can focus their expenses, and maximize profits by wining over a particular market share. Making their product exclusive, it will inevitably become a desired product.
