USA COVID-19 Spike as reported...... to spike in April!
Already media is openly speaking of that expectation. No surprises, will happen.
Data (MACD histogram) projections align.
Apparently, NY and FL are already spiking.
This is likely the Omicron wave, and it can get out of hand pretty quickly as we have seen in many other countries. Hope that enough preparations have been made!

SINGAPORE COVID-19 Wave 4 UpdateAt the start of the year, it was clear that the Omicron wave (Wave 4) started, as heads up by the previous post.
Wave 4 is ON now.
In the coming weeks, it starts slow, but will accelerate faster and faster, into March and April 2022
In the last two months, we can see that the infection rate escalated after the turn into February. Depicted by the white and yellow line gradients marked under the MACD Signal line.
No deceleration is observed yet... so expect at least a week or two before we see some levelling off (hopefully).
Given the current measures, and population attitudes, I honestly do not yet see this abating soon... will check in again in a couple of weeks if there is any developments.

CHINA COVID Projection - Wave Spike ONWhile I totally missed this spike formation months ago, it is already happening, and the charts are telling us it is already a spike wave.
Today, China says it will mass test all 11 million of the Wuhan residents, and it has locked down a number of cities in swift response.
the next couple of weeks should see China spike, followed by USA spike, and they may start blaming China again...

(FDA) published a safety communication (the "Communication") that identifies the Company’s Linea™ COVID-19 Assay Kit (the "Assay Kit") as one of only two tests marketed under the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) that are potentially able to identify certain SARS-CoV-2 mutations, including a mutation found in the U.K. variant of SARS-CoV-2 (B.1.1.7). According to recent publications, the B.1.1.7 variant has been identified within the United States and may be associated with an increased risk of transmission of the virus that causes COVID-19.
Based on analysis conducted by the Company and FDA, one of the two S-gene targets (S1 and S2) of the Assay Kit has significantly reduced sensitivity in the presence of certain S-gene mutations, including a mutation found in the B.1.1.7 variant.
