Airlines landing once again! On November 1st, 2021 I published an analysis for major Airlines, they experienced a +10% gain and start landing again!
And then I perfectly call the resistance:
they could become a long opportunity near their support lines!
You can see the most important support (green lines) and resistance (red lines) to watch in the coming days in these charts!

Airlines have just find their supports! Most airlines' stocks reacted to their support level and some of them have just broken above the downward trend line..!
It seems Delta and United could perform better than others if there is a relief rally..!
A relief rally is a respite from a broader market sell-off that results in temporarily higher securities prices. Relief rallies often occur when anticipated negative news winds up being positive or less severe than expected. (Investopedia)

RTX - A PROXY FOR AIRLINES/AIRLINE INDUSTRY (RYCEY, AAL, BA)Airlines have had quite the run up since the low. Warren Buffet is way past his prime.
BUT WTF IS THIS PRICE ACTION!?
I've done a fair amount of "research" into the numbers here and here's my best attempt to make sense of it.
We all know the COVID correction was the E wave of a triangle. That was obvious. You see it on every major index.
Triangles happen in wave 4's... so now wtf is this "impulse??"
The 3-3-3-3-3 wave structure points towards some type of diagonal for the bullish count.
This sort of chop is going to wash people out if you don't have a game plan.
Here's mine.
It's always critical to pay attention to RSI or some other momentum indicator to spot corrections.
We know RSI rarely exceeds ~70 in corrections and rarely goes lower than ~30 in uptrends. We will use this rule to define most of the PA.
We define the primary channel shown in bold.
and subchannels for each subwave in lighter color.
Annotations shown on chart.
We see waves A and B of 3 clearly.
When you get into the subdivision of C, that's where you have to pay attention to detail.
Two conflicting things are shown.
By EW rules you have another leg up. This also makes sense from the geometry of an expanding diagonal - you want to put in that awkward third wave.
This would align with a channel break which is typical.
However, if you look at the 4 hr RSI, you are already getting a reaction at 70. For this reason, I am not swing trading this last "potential wave up."
I am waiting for a retrace of wave 4... might take a few months.
However, I am still holding my long-term RYCEY as it is possible that stock pops during this last leg up.
You usually see w4 marked by the channel bottom, and w5 must be larger than w3.
For this structure, that would lead to a >50% gain.
Here is my Boeing BA chart as reference which shows a very similar sort of relationship in movement, albeit coiling down triangle rather than impulse.
RYCEY
AAL - Airlines recovery, BUY opportunityWe can see a nice wedge breakouts on rising volume in airlines.
Fundamentally, we should take into a consideration deffered demand on trips due to COVID restrictions. Combined with Technical Analysis it means that airlines have space to growth.
I am publishing this idea a bit later then I should, but still it is a great buy opportunity.
Keep in mind your possible risks. Probably AAL will give a chance to take a large position on retest (level 22.30). Stop Loss 21.00
UAL - Bullish Inverse head and shoulders patternUAL - United airlines has a bullish Inverse head and shoulders pattern on daily chart. Options flow - Over 27,000 June $50 calls traded friday. 6000 $45 April calls traded vs 8 in open interest. More flights starting as more vaccines get to people , you could call this a "re-opening" trade. I own march calls in JETS etf. Cheers!
SAVE update, save leaps will printSAVE update from when i charted months ago, not to late to add SAVE to your portfolio, still has the gap to fill and vaccines and stimulus is bullish news for airlines!
LONG LYFT POTENTIAL 30% UPSIDELYFT starting to move after a POST IPO dump.
Looks good on the long side taking into consideration UBERs recent move above its IPO level.
Entering the Food business, I believe further government regualtion will be good for the stock.
Potential double bottom, trade into $50 resistance level.
SAVE ANALYSIS and simple way to read Charts for beginnersI see SAVE going back to 25 by Jan 2021 but if you're an option trader i suggest getting ITM calls for 2021 even 2022 if you want to add to long term portfolio. Shares is also good to add to your stock portfolio. Remember to keep in mind if airlines were to shutdown and vaccine trials see no further progress that would be a sign to get out, but recent news looks good for airlines in general and this is an easy money printer here! hopefully momentum can carry us back to the ATH within the next 2-5 years at 85$. Imagine getting a 16$ call exp 1/2022 now and SAVE is back up at $50 ....
SPIRIT AIRLINES getting ready for a big moveSAVE consolidating for a few months now, sitting in this tight channel and could have a big move up or down! With airline activity picking up I'm swinging SAVE to 25$ by 01/21 ... Perfect to add to long term portfolio!
Simple way to read this chart, break that top purple zone (resistance) at $19.50 we will see an overall move to $25, break that bottom purple zone (support) at 14.80 we'll see an overall move to 10$
Spirit Airlines breaking down SAVE is breaking down from what was actually a constructive consolidation.
Targeting high 14s.
SAVE LONG TERM PLAY - 115% POTENTIAL UPSIDE$SAVE is looking to make another run, currently touching resistance at $19.50 levels. Once resistance is broken we will see an attempt to break June high's of $24-25.
From my TA it appears we are entering wave 3 of 5..
