Scaling Into a PositionEver see price nearing a zone of interest and wonder when is the right time to get into a position?
Try scaling in!
Taking a few smaller positions as price moves into your area can allow you to get into a trade while managing risk along the way.
This can help you to not miss moves by waiting too long AND to not overleverage by taking a large position too early.
Take a look at this recent move on BTC as an example.

"Crypto follows his routine" Ben MillerBitcoin in general follows his routine and the whole crypto eco system
Like you see, we have made a nice support on the 200 Moving Average with eth/btc correlation, which would consider go back around 3700 dollar per Ether(under pic) and going dominate BTC in the long term.
What suprised me is that Bitcoin always follow his routine and never follows people their opinion or FUD like they're saying every year" Bitcoin will be banned in China". China pays US newspaper to scare people so after they can buy more in the dip and let people dive in(more liquidation) . Those misinformations are just here to stay to scare you out. Even when people fomo'ing, Bitcoin will always follow his traditional routine.

RDN/USDT Update: Raiden Network startet its move >150%Raiden Network as off chain scaling solution started its move to the heavens.
We are currently 150% from our entry point but there is still a long way to go.
Basic rules:
- Never buy the top/ATH
- Take profit as long as you can
- Use Stop/loss for leveraged positions
- If you are not experienced, don't leverage in the first place
Enjoy the ride and don't be too greedy.

ETHBTC Cycle - Livermore Accumulation CylinderI think this is largely dependent on how ETH shapes up in the coming months.
This includes:
EIP-1559
Layer 2 Scaling (Uniswap + Coinbase Wallet specifically)
Mainstream attention on NFTs
If Ethereum fails at these I'd still be surprised if .055 never gets tagged.
An "optimistic" approachUpon the announcement of Project Optimism, the 2 layer scaling solution to Ethereum, it's time to start picking up ether (if you havent already started). This is a great time to trade against crypto pairs, as the projected benefits from the L2 solution will greatly increase ETH's valuation relatively against crypto pairs.
On a slightly related note, I will be lightly reducing my bnbeth position to allow for some fall back in the event that other smart contract pairs do not follow the same move HOWEVER given BNB's fantastic stability at it's currently levels, I am fairly confident .13 is the floor for that pair.
Initial targets: 0.036 (current month candle close if bullish)
also dont stress about falling below 0.03 IF that happens. clear shakeout to scare retail out of a dank trade.
cheers
Buy CELR / layer 2 scaling will be big @ Solid Support!Buy CELR / layer 2 scaling will be big @ Solid Support! Celer Network is a leading layer-2 scaling platform that enables fast, easy and secure off-chain transactions for not only payment transactions, but also generalized off-chain smart contract. It enables everyone to quickly build, operate, and use highly scalable decentralized applications through innovations in off-chain scaling techniques and incentive-aligned cryptoeconomics.
The Tradesy: Scaling in (2nd Entry)Drawing my bespoke fib from the high of the previous entry to the new low allows me to scale in with a second entry at the 50% retracement level.
Following the same process as the initial entry I now have 2R profit secured with a full sized risk free position running.
LONG LRC - breakout of bullish flag - Low RIsk Entry Point LONG LRC - breakout of bullish flag - Low RIsk Entry Point // - Loopring is an open protocol for building high-performance, order book decentralized exchanges on Ethereum. Their goal is to enable the building of highly scalable exchanges without compromising Ethereum-level security guarantees through a zkRollup construction. Although blockchains inherently provide trustless trading, there are problems with building exchanges purely on-chain. Specifically, processing speed, throughput, and computation costs. Performing all exchange steps on-chain can be prohibitively expensive, or impossible to emulate centralized exchange speed and performance. For these reasons, Loopring has moved almost all data and computation off-chain but leverages zero-knowledge proofs to retain trust-minimized properties.

DXY Oil11.27.19 Yesterday I uploaded a video suggesting that the dollar was going higher. Today is the follow-up in a quick review of that market. Next I discussed oil and talked about ways of taking profit and scaling entries and exits to make more money with less risk. And then I took an example using the oil chart of how markets are really much more likely to benefit buyers and sellers and not just one side of the market. But depending on how involved you want to be as a traitor, you may or may not want to see the algorithms for both buyers and for sellers as markets can benefit both sides, and it all depends on the trade location and an understanding of the set up and what you can expect for a reasonable target. I did not talk about one other aspect of this on the video, but in transitional periods in the market when markets are about to make significant changes, markets can actually burn buyers and sellers. This is why the market can be so difficult and why most traders fail a trading. I found in my own study of the market over the years is that I had to dig deep into the assumptions and the way that I processed information so that I could change my paradigm... and accept those changes... in order to benefit from the market. I had to change many things over the years.
oil scaling techniqueScaling techniques can have a highly beneficial effect you trading results...and "Bale you out" of costly market corrections if you have a working understanding of market dynamics...and you recognize that adding positions also increases your risk exposure...and should be factored in accordingly. Here is an example.
