Bearish to Bullish Play for the Week on GbpAudAfter thorough analysis through each timeframe I have concluded that GA is Bullish on a Weekly Level after my Weekly Red Trendline broke for a 2nd time to the upside, with that in mind in the 1hr-4hr TF it has broke my blue trendline to the bearish side suggesting a possible retest to the Inbalance around 1.96700-1.96500, only way I would change my bearish outlook from current price is if we break thru 1.99200 to the bullish territory. If the sell plays out turning into a buy midweek closing the week out around 1.98500-1.99000 it would make a weekly doji building up for next weeks play.. BUT let’s see if we can catch this weeks play 1st lol.. may the markets be on our side !
Selltobuy
EUR/USD Shorts from 1.05600 back downThis week, my analysis for EUR/USD aligns closely with GBP/USD, as both pairs have exhibited bearish momentum. However, there are subtle differences in price action as we approach the final month of the year. A key focus is the 4-hour supply zone around 1.05600, which initiated a break of structure to the downside.
Once price reaches this area, I’ll look for redistribution on the lower timeframes to confirm a potential sell. If the price moves higher, the 2-hour supply zone just above offers an even better opportunity for shorts.
Confluences for EUR/USD Sells:
- Liquidity Below: Significant downside liquidity remains untapped.
- Bearish Momentum: The pair has been bearish for the past two weeks.
- Break of Structure: Key levels have broken to the downside on the higher timeframe.
- DXY Correlation: The dollar index (DXY) supports this bearish setup.
- Key Supply Zone: The 4-hour supply zone caused the initial bearish move.
Note: If price mitigates the 5-hour demand zone, I may consider a counter-trend buy to take price back up toward the supply zone. However, if this demand zone fails, it will trigger another break of structure (BOS), prompting me to identify a new supply zone for potential shorts.
Stay disciplined and have a strong trading week—let’s close Q4 on a high note!
DOLLAR DROPPING?This week, I anticipate the DXY to retrace before continuing its recent bearish trend. Since reaching the weekly supply level, the price has consistently formed lower lows and lower highs. This bearish momentum aligns with the bullish trends seen in pairs like GBP/USD and EUR/USD, which I use as additional confluence.
I’ll be watching for the price to retrace to around 106.400, a key area for potential sell opportunities on the dollar. This level aligns well with points of interest (POIs) in my other forex pairs, adding further confidence to this setup.
Note: As we approach the final month of the quarter and year, market conditions may become less predictable due to lower volume. Stay alert, but manage expectations accordingly.
Stay vigilant, and trade safe!
EUR/USD Short term short to long idea pending...This week, my focus for EUR/USD is on the supply zone near 1.05800. I anticipate a reaction from this level, making it a key area for potential sells at the start of the week. Following this initial move, I expect a bullish rally to develop midweek.
If the price drops to 1.05200, aligning with my 11-hour demand zone, I’ll shift my focus to potential buys. After receiving valid lower-timeframe confirmations, I plan to target the nearest liquidity pool to the upside as the price resumes its bullish trend.
Confluences for EUR/USD Sells:
Shift in Market Character: Price has shown signs of a downside reversal, suggesting a potential sell-off.
Unmitigated Supply Zone: A clean 2-hour supply zone remains untapped.
Liquidity Below: There’s significant liquidity to the downside that price may target.
Trend Recalibration: Despite the overall bullish trend, a pullback is necessary for continuation.
Note: If the supply zone at 1.05800 fails to hold, it will further confirm bullish momentum. In this case, I’ll wait for a nearby demand zone to form, providing an opportunity to capitalize on the move to the upside. Patience will be key in this scenario.
XAU/USD shorts from 2,760 or Longs from 2,720This week, my analysis suggests that gold may continue to drop, targeting the trendline liquidity formed below. Once that liquidity is taken out, I anticipate a bullish reaction, potentially around the demand zone I have identified. If the price retraces up to the supply zone, I’ll look for potential sell opportunities to follow this short-term bearish trend.
Since my overall bias is bullish, I am more inclined towards long positions due to the higher time frame outlook. However, if the price surpasses any of my nearby Points of Interest (POIs), I’ll watch for a deeper retracement around the demand at 2,680 or the supply at 2,780.
Confluences for Gold Sells:
- Price has shown a bearish shift on the higher time frame.
- Supply zones remain on both the 1-hour and daily charts.
- There is significant trendline liquidity below, providing a target for further downside movement.
- The dollar has been moving bullishly, which aligns with a potential drop in gold.
- Gold has been in a strong bullish trend and may be showing signs of exhaustion, hence the recent heavy decline.
P.S. I’ll stay vigilant and assess where the price moves first. If price breaks structure to the downside, I’ll have a stronger inclination to sell.
Have a great trading week!
GBP/USD Bearish weakening, potential buys from 1.30500This week looks promising for my type of setups, with both sell and buy opportunities presenting decent prospects. I’ll be waiting for high-quality lower time frame confirmations before taking any trades. Depending on which point of interest (POI) gets hit, I’ll adjust, but ideally, I’m looking to sell from the supply zone down toward the demand zone.
Once price reaches the 15-hour demand zone, I’ll shift to looking for buy opportunities, targeting the imbalances above and the untouched Asian session highs. Although the overall trend is bearish and sells look favorable, I plan to wait for a mitigation of the higher supply zones around 1.32500 before committing to any shorts.
Confluences for GU Buys:
- The refined 15-hour demand zone has caused a CHOCH to the upside.
- There are significant imbalances and liquidity above that need to be filled.
- For price to retrace to the supply zone, it must first move upward.
- The US Dollar Index (DXY) is sitting in a strong supply zone, which could trigger a drop in the dollar, supporting bullish momentum for GU.
Note: If the buy scenario doesn’t play out as planned, I’ll wait for a strong supply zone to sell from and continue the bearish trend. However, given that price is already in a higher time frame demand zone, I wouldn’t be surprised to see an upward push as early as Monday.
EUR USD IdeaIf the market falls into the discount zone deeo I've marked key levels, volume imbalances, and untapped distribution. If market makers respect the bullish range, we might see a rotation. If not, I might hold my sell order scalp runner longer. The weekly structure is complex, so a strong bias might not be the best idea. Stay safe and be patient for good entries. ill keep posting ideas
XAU/USD Sell to Buy idea (potential pullback?)I’m watching for a potential sell around the 2-hour supply zone. Specifically, I'll be looking for the Asian session high to be taken out, followed by a Wyckoff distribution on the lower time frames. Since this setup is counter-trend, I expect it to mark a possible reversal point for gold, as the Wyckoff pattern has already played out on the higher time frames and the market structure has shifted to the downside.
If price continues to drop, I’ll shift my focus to potential buy opportunities around the 2,630 level. Once price enters this zone and shows signs of accumulation, I’ll look to trade with the overall bullish trend, as I remain optimistic on gold’s long-term upside.
Confluences for Gold Sells:
- A Wyckoff distribution has occurred on the higher time frames.
- The market structure has shifted downward (price changed character).
- Price is nearing the 2-hour supply zone, which could trigger a reversal.
- Despite gold’s bullish trend, bullish momentum seems to be weakening.
- If a full reversal doesn’t occur, a pullback is still likely before price continues upward.
Note: If price breaks above this supply zone and makes a new all-time high (ATH), I’ll look for a nearby demand zone to catch buys before price mitigates the 8-hour or 10-hour demand below.
EUR/USD Sell to Buy idea from 1.10200This week's analysis for EUR/USD (EU) is quite interesting, as there is significant liquidity on both sides of the market. My plan is to wait for a liquidity sweep before considering trade entries. Ideally, I would like to see the price reach my 17-hour demand zone to continue the upward trend.
If the price doesn’t immediately reach that point of interest (POI), I’ll look for a short-term sell opportunity from the 4-hour supply zone, but only if I get the right confirmation. While there are equal highs and Asia session highs above the supply zone, I’ll be cautious and look for additional confluences.
Key confluences for EU buys:
- Significant liquidity to the upside, including equal highs and Asia session highs.
- A 17-hour demand zone that caused a break of structure to the upside.
- This is a pro-trend idea, with buys looking more favourable.
- The DXY (Dollar Index) is bearish, further supporting the bullish outlook for EU.
P.S. If the price breaks structure to the upside, I’ll look for a new demand zone to buy from. There’s a lot of liquidity built up above the current price that the market may target.
XAU/USD Sell to buy idea, from 2,590 or 2,560This week’s analysis for gold suggests that the price will slow down and begin to distribute. Once the price corrects and retraces to one of my nearby points of interest (either the 10-hour or 5-hour demand zone), I'll be looking for re-accumulation to occur on the lower time frames.
Once this re-accumulation is confirmed, I’ll be looking for buying opportunities to continue the upward trend. I expect this move to happen later in the week, depending on the volume and how long it takes for the price to consolidate and break out.
Key confluences for gold buys:
- The price has been bullish on both lower and higher time frames.
- Two clean demand zones have triggered the recent break of structure.
- A bullish move is pending a pullback.
- The dollar is bearish, which supports gold’s upward movement.
P.S. If the price starts to decline and shifts in character, I’ll be looking for a supply zone to potentially catch a short-term sell down toward the demand level.
GBP/USD Sell to buy idea from 1.32000 to 1.30400GU Analysis for This Week:
My outlook on GU this week largely depends on how the market opens. If the price moves downward and breaks structure by taking out the liquidity at the swing low, I expect a retracement to the 12-hour demand zone. In this scenario, the 10-hour supply zone I marked would become more valid, although there is also a possibility that price could move there first.
This would lead to an initial sell-off, to ride the price down until it fills the imbalance just above the demand zone. Once price reaches this point, it would fill a level of imbalance, potentially triggering stronger buying pressure.
Confluences for GU Sells:
- The price has been forming lower lows and lower highs.
- There is an imbalance below that needs to be filled, along with a demand level.
- A 10-hour demand zone was left untouched by the NFP news event.
- There is significant liquidity below, providing clear target levels for take profit.
- This analysis aligns well with the dollar index (DXY) chart.
Note: If the price invalidates the current supply, my ideal scenario would be for the price to reach the 11-hour supply zone at the very top, as it offers a more premium level to sell from.
Have a great trading week, everyone!
EUR/USD possible short from 1.12000My analysis for EUR/USD (EU) this week is similar to GBP/USD (GU). The pair has been very bullish and is now approaching key supply areas where I will be looking to sell short-term, just until price reaches another valid demand level. From there, I plan to buy back up, expecting it to create a new leg to the upside.
If price breaks through the 20-hour supply zone, there's a 16-hour supply zone just above it that looks more promising, as it's in a premium area. With the news events this week looking favorable and few major risks ("red folders"), Monday might see price slow down and form a distribution pattern.
Confluences for EU Sells:
- Price has been very bullish, so a retracement is needed to sustain the upward movement.
- Recent price action has been very parabolic, resulting in unhealthy market behavior.
- There are imbalances and liquidity below that need to be filled.
- The 20-hour supply zone presents a potential opportunity for short trades.
P.S. If price melts from this zone, I'll look for an Asia high sweep followed by my usual setup. I expect price to fill the imbalance below and tap into my demand area.
MNQ 8H Sell to Buy Idea 4/26/24Since price didn't close above the mid-point of the consolidation zone & an 8H inverted hammer formed at market close, I am looking for price to run bearish at market open and then continue back bullish at some point.
Personally I'm not looking for full sells OR actual bearish structure until around 17476 where the current lows in price are at.
**This is for educational purposes only and this is not financial advice because I am not a financial advisor.**
XAUUSD Shorts from 2340 down towards 2300My analysis for gold this week aims to sustain the short-term bearish trend it has initiated. I have identified two promising supply zones away from liquidity that could potentially provide favorable setups. If price retraces initially, I will consider buying from my 4-hour demand zone up to the supply, ensuring I capitalize on available opportunities.
I'll wait for price to slow down and develop a Wyckoff distribution within the 1-hour supply zone. However, there's a possibility of price surging beyond it due to the existing imbalances above. This is because the supply zone I've identified at the extreme top is the most optimal. Additionally, there's still significant liquidity to the downside that must be addressed.
Confluences for GOLD sells are as follows:
- Price has caused a major shift in trend as well as a BOS to confirm this downside move.
- Lots of liquidity left to get taken to the downside like Asia lows and trendlines etc.
- Very clean supply away from liquidity on the 1-hourly as well as the 8-hourly
- If price is still wanting to go up these are still key levels for retracements.
- Gold has been very bullish and buyers are getting exhausted.
- Price has also taken ATH's which is a major liquidity point for price to make a reversal.
P.S. Given the ongoing war, gold tends to maintain its stability and continues to rise, being a robust commodity that doesn't always correlate with the dollar index. At present, I'm awaiting the activation of my points of interest (POIs) to initiate my strategy.
EUR/USD Shorts to Long idea My bias for EURUSD is similar to GBPUSD, as I'm seeking selling opportunities towards a demand zone. There's a 10-hour supply zone that I'm eyeing for potential sells to continue the downtrend. I'll be waiting for a high to be swept during a Wyckoff distribution before entering my sell positions.
Following this, I anticipate price to decline towards the 3-hour demand zone, which coincides with the 3-hour demand area for GBPUSD. I'll then look for a Wyckoff accumulation phase to ride price back up and fill in the major imbalances left from the upside.
Confluences for EU Sells are as follows:
- Price has been very bearish recently and confirms this via continuous break of structures.
- Good 10hr supply that has recently been created which also caused a BOS.
- Theres an imbalance below that needs to get filled as well as lots of liquidity to be taken.
- The overall trend of the market on the higher time frame is bearish as well.
- DXY also looking bullish as well and it's aligning very well with EU's Zones.
P.S. If the demand zone fails, it will break a significant level of structure, making selling positions more favorable. Currently, bearish momentum remains strong, and I anticipate further downside movement.
Have a great trading week remember risk accordingly and maintain emotional discipline!
GBP/USD Sells down towards a long opportunityThis pair is currently in a bearish trend, but I anticipate a potential reversal near a major demand zone around 1.23000. While we wait for price to reach this level, I'll be monitoring for a minor retracement back to the recently formed 4-hour supply zone.
Once the retracement occurs, I'll be looking for selling opportunities in line with the prevailing trend until price reaches the 3hr demand level. Upon reaching this level, I'll anticipate a liquidity sweep of the Asian low and a possible Wyckoff accumulation phase, expecting price to then rise.
Confluences for GU Sells are as follows:
- Price has been very bearish recently and confirms this via continuous break of structures.
- Good 4hr supply that has recently been created which also caused a BOS.
- Theres an imbalance below that needs to get filled as well as lots of liquidity to be taken.
- The overall trend of the market on the higher time frame is bearish as well.
- DXY also looking bullish as well and it's aligning very well with GU's Zones.
P.S. This demand zone is particularly strong because it aligns with a strengthening dollar entering a robust supply zone. This could lead to a significant drop in the dollar and consequently a rise in GU. However, given the overall bearish trend of GU, selling positions remain valid.
Have a good trading week!

SELL EURUSDEUR Gave us a falls breakout to the upside yesterday, probably to get more buyers buying at the current price. However as I mentioned before OANDA:EURUSD has to take out the liquidity below 1.1800 zone before any significant bullish move to the upside. So as we see this is a sell to buy scenario. Use proper money management.
