BTC Swing Points (Linear Scale) ISTRUCTURAL AWARENESS
This analysis seeks to provide structural insights by identifying key levels and understanding historical price patterns to anticipate the limits potential future scale of price movements.
Indicators in use:
I'd start with retrieving HH LH HL LL points by script I've designed based on Pivot Points to be as aware as possible of key levels of the historic structure:
Adding altered Zig Zag that shows only percentage change of the swings. This would be another layer of the historic pattern capture:
BOTTOMS:
Wave analysis from '22 - '24
Logarithmic Trendline: It looks like a curve on linear scale, which we will use to link the composite but significant lows and extend it to the right. This gives a sense of a low levels which we assume would be hard to break anytime soon because of the price is a range away:
Breaking below and staying under that level for more than a few bars would signal a bearish trend, depending on emerging patterns at smaller scales as price nears the curve.
Since a Double Top pattern could develop, an additional line curve aligned with the HL and passing through the next bottom (black dashed curve) is necessary. If price breaches the main curve’s orange dotted line, it may descend toward the secondary curve, a significant lower boundary derived from historical curvature. A break below this level would require an even stronger bearish effort to actually keep it below because of high volatility and existing frequency of reversals.
Adding short-term trendlines which would be easier to break (Red and dark orange dotted continuation of the lines)
TOPS:
To anticipate how high it can grow, we'll connect the extreme tops as well.
2021 ATH ➡︎ 2024 ATH
2021 TOPS
2017 ATH ➡︎ 2021 1st TOP
Price breaking above "2017 ATH ➡︎ 2021 1st TOP" is a sign to switch to log scale where identical distance resembles identical % change to capture a bigger scale move relative to the structure.

Golden Hunt with ICT Strategy: Perfect XAU/USD Analysis in the 1Hey everyone! Today, I’m excited to share a fascinating analysis of the XAU/USD pair in the 1-hour timeframe using the ICT strategy. I’ve added a free indicator to the chart that not only identifies swing points but also beautifully connects them with lines. This indicator even marks the days of the week, Fair Value Gaps (FVGs), and includes a 20-period EMA. It’s truly an amazing tool!
What’s more, it has features for displaying Kill Zones, sessions, and Silver Bullet, but I’ve turned those off for now to keep the focus on the essentials.
As you can see, Break of Structure (BOS) points are clearly marked, and I’ve highlighted the areas where the market structure has shifted. Notice how sometimes strong swing highs or lows are "hunted" by a shadow that pierces through, leading to a sharp bearish move afterward. The indicator highlights most of these hunts in red, helping us better anticipate market movements.
For entering trades, I used a simple tool to highlight green zones on the chart. I employed Fibonacci retracement levels of 61.8%, 70.5%, 79%, and 50% to pinpoint key entry areas. Additionally, using a custom method based on standard deviation, I marked potential future price zones with dotted lines.
In summary, this analysis combines advanced ICT techniques with practical tools to give you a clearer view of gold’s movements. I hope these insights help you achieve more successful trades! ✨
📊 What are Swing Points?📍Types of Swing Points
A swing point on your chart is simply a turning point for price in the past, either to create a considerable pullback into an established trend, or to reverse it altogether. When a turning point creates a mere pullback it can be classified as a minor swing point. When it creates the base to reverse a trend, it is classified as a major swing point.
📍Why are swing high and swing low formed?
A swing high and swing low is formed due to what is known as support and resistance. The technical explanation for support and resistance is as follows:
🔹 A support forms for the price when you notice that there are more buyers than sellers at a certain price. The demand for the asset or the stock overwhelms the supply and thus pushes price higher.
🔹 A resistance forms for price when you notice more sellers than buyers at the price level. In this case, price fails to move higher and therefore declines.
Swing points are key levels we use in TA to identify potential trend reversals and support/resistance areas in the markets. Swing highs represent peaks in price movement , while swing lows represent valleys or troughs. You can find swing points by studying price charts, identifying peaks and valleys, and plotting them on the chart. By connecting swing points with trendlines, you can analyze patterns and assess potential support and resistance levels. Combining swing points with other technical indicators can enhance trading decisions. It's important to consider different time frames and use swing points as part of a comprehensive analysis approach.

EURAUD waiting for the newsAnother breakout idea, this time on EURAUD. Volatility could increase due to the upcoming news for the euro.
We will try to catch a possible strong down-movement, placing a sell stop entry order right below last very important swing low.
Stop loss above the level and take profit right above the important level 1.61.
